THREE COUNTIES CHAMPIONSHIP DOG SHOW Briards (without CC’s)

Held on: Saturday 8th JUNE 2019 Judge: Mr. Russell F. Jones (Quemerford)

It was a pleasure to be asked to Judge at this well-run show. Un-fortunately the changeable weather kept a lot of exhibitors away. Many thanks to the Secretary and the Committee for a delightful day.

PD (1,0), 1 Mrs. J. Snelling, Beaugency Bouzy Roots: A lovely 10mth old fawn dog, well grown for his age and superbly handled. He has a correct skull, stop, eye, good muzzle, ear set and bite. Good length of neck and lay back of shoulder, nice bone and straight front. Good back and a strong back end, with good angles to rear. Good length of tail, correct double dew claws. He handled himself well for one so young. Moved out well keeping his top-line on the move. I was pleased to award him BP and BOB and to watch him be short-listed in the Adult Group and to win Puppy Group 1. A really great day for the breed, well done.

PGB (1,0), 1 Mrs. E.K. & Mr. C. Southron, Kastobri Dreamed A Dream: A 3yr old black bitch of a pleasing type, with a nice out-line. Sweet head, correct bite, nice neck, neat front and rear. Loved her ‘J’ tail and her nice break in her coat that was well presented. She was just not so settled on the move today. Pleased to award her BB and BOS. Well done.
