Thoroughly enjoyed the appointment, my thanks to the Kennel Club for the invite, the exhibitors for the fantastic entry and my very able stewards.

VETERAN D (2, 1 Abs)

1st MISS L A & MR A TINGLE WOMACK - ISLEPHAR MAGIC STAR : On his own, but good enough in any company to merit high awards. At 8 years was fit, in good condition and in profile looked a picture. Liked his head qualities, ear placement and keen eye. Neck was lean, reachy and slightly arched flowing nicely into good lay of shoulder. Front was straight with elbows well tucked in to brisket. Pasterns were firm and hocks parallel. Moved with purpose whilst maintaining a good topline. Well presented and handled.

PUPPY D (1)

1st MR S HANSEN - BAZINGA FOREIGN AMBASSADOR [ATC AV02417NOR] : Well grown for 10 months, upstanding with clean cut lines. On the move was a little loose which should tighten as he matures. A quality youngster nevertheless, carries a reasonable headpiece with good length of foreface, eye of good colour and shape and well placed ears. Front is straight and shoulders well laid back. Neck is reachy and flows smoothly into a good topline. Brisket not quite let down to elbows, this will develop as he matures. Presented and handled, extremely well. - BEST PUPPY

JUNIOR D (6, 1 Abs)

1st MISS J HALL - VASKURS VARENNE QIWISON JEUW'18 SEW'18 SEJW'18 NW'18 NJW'18 NORDJW/18 [ATC AV03241SWE] : Headed a class of very good juniors, at 17 months this rich tan carries a good shaped head with ample foreface, eye of correct colour and shape and well placed mobile ears. Front is straight with elbows well tucked in to good depth of brisket. Pasterns and feet were firm, neck was lean slightly arched and flowed into well laid back shoulders. Rear quarters were well muscled with parallel hocks providing great strength on the move. Moved effortlessly around the ring and stood freely, four square. Well handled and presented.

2nd MR M & MRS J WATSON - BATMAN FLYS OVER XANDSARI : Carries a good head, reachy neck and strong topline which he maintained on the move. Overall this 17 month old was well constructed with straight front and parallel rear quarters. Standing is so typical of the breed. Was a little diffident however going over and just lacked the alertness and enthusiasm of 1.

1st MRS L REILLY - DOUCAI GUSTAZ TA BIRGU : Just over 2 years of age, possesses a lovely wedge shaped head with good length of foreface, good eye shape and colour and mobile well place ears. Most striking is the deep rich tan of this boy, he has great depth, straight front with firm pasterns and feet and strong parallel rear quarters giving tremendous strength on the move. Moved effortlessly and standing freely, stood four square. Presented and handled to advantage.

2nd MRS L REILLY - DOUCAI BUSLI SORMI : At 13 months this youngster is well matured for his age. Has a straight front with good depth of brisket and close lying elbows. Head is well shaped with good eye and ear carriage. Neck is lean and reachy flowing into good shoulder placement and topline. Handled well, movement however was a little loose and erratic, will no doubt improve with age and training.

1st MISS J HARTILL - FRANCO NERO ARSINOE TO JECHEMO (IMP) : Upstanding 27 months old tan with good headpiece, eye colour and ear placement. Neck is lean, reachy and slightly arched flowing into well laid back shoulders. Front is straight with elbows tucked in and close to good depth of brisket. Rear quarters are strong and parallel. Moved freely with purpose and presented to advantage.

2nd MR, MISS & MISS FLETCHER, MERRYWEATHER & EVTEEVA - REEDLY ROAD ROCHLYN TO YNCHREENOO (IMP RUS) : Rich tan of 20 months well balanced with clean cut lines. Carries a good long lean wedge shaped head with good eye and ear set. Good length of neck and topline with slightly sloping croup. Rear quarters were strong and parallel. Moved freely and well handled.

1st MISS J HALL - C I B CH VASKURS JACK SPARROW QONJACSON [ATC AQ02396SWE] : This 5 year old impressed at first sight with his enthusiasm and exuberance in the ring, all controlled to advantage by a very competent handler. Standing he presented a picture so typical of the breed and on the move, moved so effortlessly and with great power. Loved his headpiece, eye was correct colour and shape giving a keen expressive look. Ears were of good size and well set, neck was lean, muscular slightly arched and with good reach. Front and rear angulation was just right being straight and parallel with good depth of brisket and close lying elbows. Movement was true in profile and when coming and going. Presented in perfect condition and handled expertly - CC

2nd MR G & MRS C DAWSON - CH KURRIERA ORLANDO AT LYNCRIS : Similar attributes to 1. Loved his head planes, keen expressive eye and well placed ears. Overall is very well balanced with good front and rear angulation, strong topline and standing freely, stood proudly, four square. Did not put a foot wrong and was in complete harmony with his handler. Just felt on the day he lacked a little sparkle and drive when moving, nevertheless a very worthy champion - RES CC

1st MR G REEVE - CH ANNATEFKAH BENNU : At 8 ½ years looks incredible for her age a credit to her owner(s). Smart well balanced with clean cut lines, so true to type. Carries the best of heads with correct planes and length of foreface. Eyes are a good shape and colour and ears well placed, neck is reachy and slightly arched leading to the best of shoulder placement. Front is straight with elbows tucked in closely to ample depth of brisket. Pasterns and feet are firm and rear quarters well angulated and parallel. On the move she flowed gracefully around the ring and standing freely, stood four square. Handled very well - BEST VETERAN

2nd MS Y & MS M ASHBY & CAPPELAERE - LYNCRIS DIZZY MISS LIZZY OF KURRIERA SHCM Much to like about this 9 year old. Carries a good wedge shaped head, eye and well placed mobile ears. Neck is reachy and flows neatly into good shoulders and topline. Just lost out to 1, on front angulation, movement and slightly weaker pasterns and feet .

PUPPY B (1)

1st MR S HANSEN - BAZINGA FLAMING STAR [ATC AV02418NOR] : Smart rich tan of 10 months, overall well balanced with good conformation. Carries a good wedge shaped head with ample foreface, eye of acceptable colour and shape with well placed mobile ears. Neck was lean, reachy and flowed into good lay of shoulder. Front is straight with elbows tucked in to brisket. Feet and pasterns were ok but need to firm up, as she matures. Moved ok in profile but coming and going was very loose. Presentation and handling however could not be faulted.

JUNIOR B (3, 1 Abs)

1st MRS J B MORRIS - ANTEFA'S ZAFARI AT ANHARBN (IMP SWE) : Smart lightly built tan of just 12 months, carries a pleasing headpiece with good planes and kind expressive eye and well placed ears. Length of neck is good, flows nicely into well laid back shoulders and good topline. Front is straight with elbows close to well let down brisket. Rear angulation is true and parallel. Moved ok and handled well, just a little diffident going over and felt her front angulation could be a little better.

2nd MISS F NGUYENOV - ANCHESENAMON QUEEN FLORINA'S DIAMONDS [ATC AV03259CZE] : Slightly wary when going over, could have been unsettled slightly by the loud announcements over the public address system. Has a good headpiece, eye and ear set. Overall well constructed with straight front, brisket well let down and rear quarters well angulated and parallel. Handling was ok but movement was poor.

POST GRAD B (6, 1 Abs)

1st MRS S NICHOLS - LITLAR'S NIJU ZHIZN V UDOVOLSTVIE (IMP RUS) : Approaching 3 years of age, well constructed all through, with good head planes, eye and ear set. Neck is lean, reachy and flows nicely into good shoulders and firm topline that she retained on the move. Front is straight with elbows well tucked in and close to ample depth of brisket. Moved and handled, to advantage.

2nd MS Y, MS M & MS C ASHBY, CAPPELAERE & SAMWAYS - KURRIERA KRYSTAL AMETHYST : Just 2 years, carries a good head, eye and well placed ears. Front is straight, with elbows tucked in. Would like to see better angulation overall, slightly deeper brisket and firmer pasterns and feet. Handled well but movement was poor.

LIMIT B (4, 1 Abs)  

1st MR, MISS & MISS FLETCHER, MERRYWEATHER, HALL - VASKURS QUEEN L QIWIDOTTER TO YNCHREENOO (IMP SWE) : Rich tan of 17 months, in profile looks so typical of the breed. Possesses a well shaped head, almond eye of correct colour and well placed mobile ears. Neck is long and slightly arched flowing into good shoulders. Topline is firm, which she maintained on the move. Front is straight with elbows lying close to good depth of brisket, pasterns and feet were firm. Overall she is well constructed with good angulation all through. On the move showed great purpose, power and grace. Well handled and presented - RES CC

2nd MR P & MRS N LLOYD - ATHANASIUS ASTORTE : Smart 2 year old, well constructed with straight front, elbows tucked in, ample depth of brisket and firm pasterns and feet. Neck is reachy , flows into good shoulder placement and topline. Overall a good example of the breed, just preferred demeanor and movement of 1. Well handled.

1st MISS A DE POLI - BAZINGA DAENERYS ON A DRAGON QUEST [ATC AV03199NOR] : Very strong class headed by a quite exceptional rich tan, at the tender age of 23 months. Much to admire, she has exquisite head properties with expressive almond shaped eye of correct colour and mobile well placed ears. Neck is strong, reachy and flows smoothly into the best of shoulder placement. Front is straight with elbows tucked in close to good depth of brisket. Pasterns were firm and feet well knuckled with neatly clipped nails. Topline is strong with just the right amount of slope from croup to tail. Rear quarters are well muscled with moderate bend of stifle and parallel short hocks. In profile looked a picture and on the move just flowed effortlessly around the ring and with vigor. She looked correct from any angle and was in complete harmony with her young handler today, had no hesitation awarding this lovely example of the breed - CC & BOB.

2nd MISS J HALL - SECH/DKCH/FICH/NOCH/NORDCH VASKURS GISELA HARABO QIWIDOTTER WW/17 WW/18 SW/18 [ATC AU02868SWE] : At 3½ years was presented to advantage. Carries a good head, eye shape and colour and mobile well placed ears. Slightly larger cast than 1 and feet not so good. Nevertheless presents a good picture in profile with good front and rear angulation. She exuded quality, moved well and was handled to advantage and with expertise.
