Please find attached my critique for the Special Awards Classes at the British Manchester Terrier Club Championship Show held on the 12th October 2019.

Firstly i would like to take this opportunity to thank both the Officer and Committee for this invitation. I had a lovely day, The hospitality was second to none. Thank you also to the exhibitors for accepting my decisions.

SPECIAL JD/B 2

1st. Straughan's Talanors Time To Shine At Mannikai. (B) A young bitch who is just out of puppy and very well put together. Head of wedge shape with flat skull and nice dark almond shaped eye with correct dentition. Good length of neck set on well placed sloping shoulders. Narrow straight front with ample depth throughout her body. Small feet with visible thumb print and well marked. Shown in good condition and very sound on the move.

2nd. Bratcher's Rattustrap Dark Matters (D). Nice enough dog with good head, neck and shoulders. Neat front with good depth of brisket and well angulated hindquarters. On the day he let himself down on the move.

SPECIAL OD 6

1st. Walshaw's CH Talanors Diamonds N Dreams Avec Janmark JW ShCM. Top drawer male of good quality and lovely size. Correct shape of head with flat skull, Dark eye, correct dentition and powerful under jaw. Muscular arched neck of good length into sloping shoulders. Excellent depth throughout his body with typical arch over the loin. A well angulated firm rear with good second thigh, A very sound moving male both fore and aft showing both reach and drive on the move.

2nd. Charlton's CH Digelsa Done N Dusted Ar Lizelms ShCM. Another typy male and one i have judged previously. Wedge shaped head with good eye, neat ears, good bite and powerful under jaw. Well placed shoulders, narrow straight front with good feet. Ample depth with good top line and tail set. Well angulated hindquarters and drives well on the move.

3rd. Spain's CH Talanors Diamond Tornado.

SPECIAL OB 7&1

I must admit i was spoilt for choice in this class, So much quality and knit picking for decisions. I am quietly confident these bitches can and will change place quite often.

1st. Knight's CH Talanors Typically Special. A beautiful sized feminine bitch with nothing exaggerated. One i have judged before and awarded her best bitch from puppy. Lovely to see she has her crown and has matured well. Head of good proportion, almond shaped dark eye with good bite and jaw. flat skull with good fill under the eye. lovely length of neck into well laid sloping shoulders and straight narrow front. A very well marked bitch and her coat in great condition. Good spring of rib with arch over the loin. Hindquarters of good angles and parallel on the move both fore and aft.

2nd. Walshaw's CH Janmark Back T'Black. Another beautiful bitch of good size, Lovely outline and stand out markings. clean in front, straight with small feet, well manicured nails and toes arched. Nice spring of rib, compact and slight arch over her loin. Faultless hindquarters and one who can do a full days work. Dainty on the move with plenty reach and drive parallel both ways. A pleasure to judge.

3rd. Saxton, Dale & Dale's CH / Multi CH Rattustrap Top Totty JW ShCM.
