Thank you to the society for inviting me to judge and award CC’s for the first time within this breed having followed it for many years it was a real pleasure.

Class 3388 SBD (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 9599 PARR Mrs V Thor Of Thingwall 14 months old dog as all the best of attitudes of an IWS, he was full of fun today giving his handler a really testing time. Great coat and condition. The best of heads, balanced and showing no coarseness at all. Best of luck for the future.

Class 3391 JD (4 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: 9588 BUSBY Mrs R H & Miss O F Stanegate Leading Role at Zakby 14 months old dog displaying top quality in all departments. Lots to develop in this young dog but he has all the hallmarks of a top quality IWS. His head is balanced matching his body proportions well, not overdone in anyway his muzzle his well finished which completes the picture. His expression said it all. His movement was a pleasure to watch, yes he is young but what a bright future as the leading role he has. Delighted to award him the RCC

2nd: 9599 PARR Mrs V Thor Of Thingwall (repeat)

3rd: 9595 LAVENDER Ms J Santarocca Fergus

Class 3393 LD (2 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 9596 MARGERISON, Mrs S & DAVIES Mr S Kandrelli Jack Snipe , Love this dogs strong firm body shape, great outline, strong neck set in to good shoulders, good ribs, short and a broad in back. Strong quarters. Today I felt the younger dog had the edge over him for RCC.

2nd: 9590 CLAYTON Mr C & Mrs C Pharises Little Nut Tree liked this dogs movement when viewed in profile today, he displayed good reach and drive, having said that the ground was so uneven for the handlers the display of moving by the exhibits today was a true reflection of how this breed can work.

Class 3394 OD (4 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 9589 CARRUTHERS Mrs J Sh Ch Gloi Donn All Or Nothing At Stanegate Having judged this dog before in a group situation it was a pleasure to be able to judge him within the breed. His head and expression is so true showing all the virtues required, displaying aloof look one minute then that typical Irish look the next. Strong neck, good strong firm body, well sprung ribs, giving that required typical role when moving. Presented in fantastic coat, dense and tight crisp ringlets on his body. He used his power from his driving quarters, displaying forward reach and when viewed in profile. Was a pleasure to watch. Delighted to award him the DCC and BOB today.

2nd: 9591 DAVIES Mrs E & Mr M Stanegate Fly Me To The Moon With Shelseivad Sh.CM Personally I liked both the second and third in equal areas, but in the end placed with this result as I preferred the hocks to the second dog when free standing. Both top quality exhibits

3rd: 9587 ANDREWS, Mr A & BLADES Ms A Sh Ch Eldarrah Clash of Kings for Antdela

Class 3396 SBB (2 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: 9597 MORRIS Mr D J Caliway Dolly Varden 10 months old and leading her handler a merry dance today, sorry to say but it was amusing as she had got that required sense of humour on her in the ring. Please keep trying has she is quite delightful. Good head and body in good coat and condition she did move well when settled. She is a puppy and in my opinion should be enjoying herself. Best puppy in breed.

Class 3398 PB (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 9597 MORRIS Mr D J Caliway Dolly Varden (repeat)

Class 3399 JB (3 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 9602 STIRK Mr & Mrs G & K & Miss Z Gloi Donn Believe In Angels Above Grakar Good overall body proportions, well balanced, head is in proportion to her body, she looked every bit a female without losing any of the substance required.

2nd: 9597 MORRIS Mr D J Caliway Dolly Varden (repeat)

Class 3400 PGB (2 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: 9605 WILLOUGHBY, Mrs P & WILLIAMS Mrs A Kandrelli Sand Partridge At Foulby Loved her head and expression, displaying good finish to her forface. Strong neck good shoulders and strong firm body, she moved well when viewed both fore and aft, her profile movement display the require reach and drive.

Class 3401 LB (2 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 9606 WILSON Mrs S E & Mr D J Eldarrah Song Of Fire And Ice I prefered the winner in shape and outline today in my opinion she looks everybit a IWS, nothing overdone no exaggeration at all. From her head to her tail she shouts breed type. Well balanced head, strong neck set into clean shoulders, good well sprung ribs, short back, loin strong and wide. She used her quarters to full advantage today, her movement was a pleasure to watch. Delighted to award her RBCC she really did push the open winner hard. I shall watch her progress with interest. Best of luck.

2nd: 9603 WALKER, Ms E J & ROBERTS Dr L Gloi Donn A Kind Of Magic, unfortunate to meet winner today on such good form, today she wasn’t at one with herself she almost tucked her self up over the loin which wasn’t evident when she moved nor when gone over. To get under the coat of this breed is the best no ring side judging. I hope she decides showing is for her as she is a very well put together bitch.

Class 3402 OB (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 9592 FORD Mr M L Sh Ch Cuboglach Petite Wave Many things have been said about this top quality bitch before me but you really do have to put your hands on this bitch to feel the true quality of her she is so strongly built but still retains the feminine picture that she is. So very smart and compact in overall conformation. Good head, strong neck and shoulders, her body is strong, firm and well ribbed. She moves so very true, delighted to award her the bcc today.

Class 3403 VB (2 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: 9598 MOULD, T, BIRD, S & G & ANDREWS A Antdela Aero In Koolwaters A bitch 9 years young, in great coat and firm condition, she moved so very well showing that true IWS rolling action in her body. Delighted to award her BVIB.
