YKC Members Stakes - Dog / Bitch (12)

1ST SH CH ALBADHU PAWS FOR PERFECTION Large Munsterlander (MISS E & MISS M H LOGIE & GRAY) Never expected this dog to be 10 years old at all, moved so true both fore and aft but the profile movement covering the ground well. The handler displayed all the attributes of kind handling and really showed the dog off to perfection. Strong Male, well balanced dog, strong and muscular in body.

2ND WARRINGAH'S ORA BANDA WITH STREAMANDA Retriever (Labrador) (MRS A J & MISS K L STEWART) Well presented and typical of the breed, good head, neck and shoulders, good firm body and in good coat and condition . Moved soundly and true in total harmony with the handler.

3RD TRIMERE TIME TRAIL WITH SANDIEBECK SHCM Spaniel (English Springer) (MRS M & MR S WILDSMITH)

Puppy Stakes – Dog (24)

1ST JONEVA BORN TO THRILL Pointer (MASTER S J LAYTON) At 10months old he displays all the attributes you would want in a pointer. Aristocratic he is and he is so sure of himself, Head so well balanced,, good head, kind eye, well developed neck and good clean shoulders, good body proportions and well balanced. Delighted to award him the class over some top class puppies.

2ND OUSEVALE TOBERMORY Retriever (Golden) (MRS CLARKE) Thrilled with this youngster shows so much promise at this age of 9 months he is so balanced and moved so well, good front and strong quarters.

3RD CHANANGEL MR WHODAT AT CHERRYHEATH Spaniel (Welsh Springer) (MISS S BARKLEY)

Puppy Stakes – Bitch (33)

What a class I was totally spoilt for choice but after a couple of short lists I eventually went for the GWP, she certainly owned the ring, so well balanced and moved soundly and true. Yes she played but she is a puppy after all and at this age we want them to enjoy the day and not be bored. She was closely pushed by the Springer who moved so true I loved her profile movement. Delighted with Irish setter, vizsla and HWV all which should have bright future.

1ST BAREVE BY THE BOOK German Wirehaired Pointer (MISS S PINKERTON)

2ND PLAIGLEN ENCORE Spaniel (English Springer) (MS F GLENDINNING)

3RD ALOLFRANA MISS DAISY AT HENALEAS Irish Setter (MRS J A & MR P J HUMPHREYS)

Junior Stakes - Dog / Bitch 31

What a task and a thrill I had with this class, the short list was so exiting for the future of the various breeds. Congratulations to the owners, handlers and breeders of these wonderful exhibits today.

1ST SANPARTI'S GETTING JIGGY VIGIE WITH IT (IMP) Spaniel (American Cocker) (MISS H BEDDING) Wow do not be fooled by the coat on this young dog, presented in top class condition and coat, but when you get your hands on him he is a delight, so much substance, bone and forechest. Balanced and in proportion overall making a true sound picture. Best of luck for the future with him.

2ND EALD DANCES WITH WOLVES AMONG NYLIRAM Spaniel (Sussex) (MRS A J GRAHAM) Full of fun and character this dog displays it in abundance. From his head to his tail he flows, such a good size, strong good bone great ribs and depth of body, movement was true and fore and aft but his profile movement was good to see, displaying that distinctive role required of a sussex. Best of luck for the future

3RD STANEGATE LEADING ROLE AT ZAKBY Spaniel (Irish Water) (MRS R H & MISS O F M BUSBY)

Open Stakes - Dog Or Bitch (34)

1ST LAURVIC TALKING ITALIAN Retriever (Flat Coated) (MRS V & MS L GOLDBERG & KEIGHT) A lot to like about this dog, showing power without coarseness, good head nicely moulded, well balanced over all, moved soundly focused on the handler at all times.

2ND HERNWOOD ACHILLES AT ETTRICK JW Gordon Setter (MR A J & MRS D A HARKER) Typical Gordon setter display strength and power good bone symmetrical in conformation. He is well balanced in body and head. Moved steady with free flowing movement, displaying plenty of drive.

3RD PUTJADE PAY THE PIPER AT MALENBROOK JW Retriever (Golden) (MR S E & MRS H I MALE)

Champion Stakes – Dog (18)

1ST SH CH BRIGHTMEADOW NEVER SAY DIE JW SHCM Retriever (Curly Coated) (MR J & MRS M B STEPHENS) His head is so well balanced and in proportion to his body, free from all exaggeration, he flows from his head to his tail. Good firm topline which he holds on the move, on the move he comes into his own in my opinion, his movement is effortless, but powerful he doesn’t seem to be going with speed but covers the ground with ease. Delighted to award him the class today. I believe he got the CC and bob later in the day and was delighted to see him sort listed in the group later.

2ND SH CH GUNALT UNDENIABLE AT JONEVA JW Weimaraner (MR J & MR P M EVANS & PAVEY) Every bit a Weimaraner, he is so aloof in his looks, a strong powerful dog using the ring to advantage he moved soundly and true displaying his good movement. Unlucky to winner on such form today.

3RD AUST SUP CH SANDICAM ROYAL ESCORT (IMP AUST) Spaniel (English Springer) (MR E & MR C CASEY & CAVALLO)

Champion Stakes – Bitch (20)

1ST SH CH NASAILLEEN SECRET LIAISON Spaniel (American Cocker) (MISS L, MRS L, MRS J & MR T BRYANT, NELSON, CAINE & LEE) My opinion hasn’t change on this bitch since I judged her in may this year and awarded her the BCC and BOB. She oozes quality, and believe me under that coat is a lot of dog, great body and substance, correct shoulder angulation to give the correct topline, The muscle tone and condition of this bitch is wonderful.

2ND SH CH/IR SH CH WILHOLME SHARP 'N' SMART AT BESSALONE JW SHCM CW16 German Shorthaired Pointer (MS I, MRS S & MISS S GLEN & KNOWLES) This is bitch is correctly named sharp she is and so very smart, movement was true, but her profile movement was a pleasure to see. She had to step up to the mark as the Bracco was pushing hard for the place.

3RD SH CH/INT SH CH/IR SH CH GUNSYN SESTO ELEMENTO WITH BRACKENMIST JW SH Bracco Italiano (MISS S MCANDREW)
