Manchester Terriers

MPD (3) 1 Plant’s Plantocracy Bold Bruce, just right for age, he has good balance & is a nice type, only a baby so needs to settle on the move but set up made a good picture with a good head & eye with good ear placement, nice neck & shoulders, good markings, has potential. I can see why he appealed, I gave his sire the CC and BOB when I last judged him and looking through this entry now, I see he was responsible for so many top class exhibits who were shown today. BPD; 2 Usher’s Digelsa Dark Sensation, at this age is slightly taller but still from the top drawer, lovely expression with good ears well set, a good eye set & placement, excellent neck & shoulders, still young and obviously needs to tighten in feet & front but he is well bodied with good hindquarters & a well set tail; 3 Kennedy & Thompson’s Digelsa Diamond Dealer. PD (0) JD (3,1a) 1 Warner’s Talanors Time For Fun, yet another Blue Diamond child! Certainly throwing a good type of Manchester, he is very mature for age but is he is balanced even though he tried to play his handler up! Good masculine head & expression, good neck & shoulders with just the right depth of rib, put down in excellent coat & condition, when he settled, he moved true on good legs & feet, nice markings; 2 Barlow’s Talanors Time For Magic, needs time to mature & reach he full potential, again a good type & size, he is balanced & moved well, masculine head & expression, ear carriage ok & correct coat & well muscled, half brother to 1. PGD (2,1) 1 Oboyle’s Paucelin Furet at Ruffagga, a nice size & outline, masculine head & expression but ears are a bit heavy, today was having problems on the move, he continued to pace & didn’t really get into his stride but good enough to win the class even though he was alone, good depth of chest & correct topline & tailset. LD (1,1). OD (8,1) What a wonderful class to have the opportunity to judge – thank you. 1 Oxley’s Digelsa Double Top, excellent type who is so well balanced with an excellent topline & tailset, masculine head & expression with ears on top to enhance the picture, correct neck, shoulders & front assembly, this really showed on his precise, correct front movement , his profile movement was copybook, he just flowed round the ring with purpose, put down in excellent coat & condition, he was well muscled with a good depth of chest. This quality boy turned out to be only 14 months old & was winning his title after taking 3 CCs as a puppy. CC & BOB; 2 Walshaw’s Ch Talanors Diamonds N’ Dreams Avec Janmark, no wonder I had problems separately the first three! All half or full brothers sired by Blue Diamond again. This boy is quality took with excellent body proportions, masculine head &expression with good eyeset & earset which were well carried, excellent neck & shoulders, strong topline & loin with correct set tail, moved well particularly up & back & showed his socks off to beat his brother & then to take the RCC; 3 Spain’s Ch Talanors Diamond Tornado. VD (1) 1 Olbinson & Kelly’s Paucelin Andoni at Carspast, this 9 year old dog belies his age, he was in lovely coat & condition, he is an excellent make & shape, still carrying colour markings & although alone, he showed his socks off & thoroughly enjoyed his day. A good example of the breed with an excellent outlook & a masculine head & expression, well boned legs & feet. BV. GCD (1) P Andoni at C.

MPB (1) 1 Oboyle’s Plantocracy Hermione, sweet head & expression on this absolute baby, her ears just need to settle but should come good as they are not overlarge as some. Good forechest & correct ribcage for age, showed well but obviously needs to tighten & settle in movement, hopefully when she finishes she will be fine, alone here & it would be interesting to see her in competition. PB (3,1) 1 Heller & House’s Marlablue Mcqueen, obviously needs to grow on & mature but has great potential, she is balanced & a good type, another still unsettled on the move but at only 9 months when she did settle, she moved correctly with a good front assembly. Good head & expression with well set ears, another Blue Diamond child & as well as BPB, I gave her BP on her type & balance; 2 P Hermione. JB (4) 1 Straughan & Cripps’ Talanors Time To Shine at Mannikai, what an excellent bitch who really caught my eye for type & quality, yet another Blue Diamond child and at only 14 months she has such a feminine head & expression with excellent earset, good neck & shoulders, correct topline & tailset, good depth of chest & strong loin & excellent markings, at present she just needs to tighten in front movement but one to watch as she certainly appeals; 2 Davies & Brown’s Digelsa Dark Indulgence at Wystry, half-sister to 1 who ran her very close, again only 14 months & just needs to finish but she shows lots of potential too, I am sure these two will change places many times, head of good proportions with excellent earset carried correctly, she has good markings & obviously just needs to settle in movement for she is well made & a good type with a good construction; 3 Robuta-Swiedrych’s Eaglespur Marissa. PGB (2) 1 Almond’s Digelsa Diamond Diva, interesting bitch who would benefit from being just slightly smaller all through but who is balanced & a nice type, feminine head & expression, good neck & shoulders, moved well really using her correct forequarters to give an excellent forereach in profile movement, in good coat & condition, she is well muscled. Ears at present still a bit heavy but she is only still young & they could tighten slightly to finish the picture; 2 Plant’s Ruffagga Ritzy Rizzo, very feminine in outlook & put down in excellent coat & condition, she is well muscled all through & moved well on well boned legs & feet, markings fine, good head & expression, nice neck & shoulders, showed well. LB (2) 1 Church, Dale & Saxton’s Rattustrap Fade To Black, just right for size & shape with a feminine head & expression, good ear set & carriage, she is balanced & a lovely type, this quality girl moved well particularly in profile, correct coat of a good texture, she is well bodied, good markings on her well boned legs & feet, lovely topline & tailset; 2 Marshall’s Talanors Treat Me Special at Jepejo, slightly larger girl who today needed her ears to settle to complete the picture of a feminine head with good eyes of the correct set & colour, would prefer a better front construction & this showed in her movement & head carriage, held her topline & has a good ribcage & strong loin, good hindquarters. OB (7,1) 1 Walshaw’s Ch Janmark Back T’Black, daughter of the RDCC and a similar stamp, mature lady with a excellent outline, lovely feminine head & expression with good earset, excellent neck & shoulders, good ribcage, she is in hard muscular condition, excellent, correct movement particularly in profile, this quality bitch has good markings. Showed her socks off to win the CC; 2 Goodwin’s Ch Digelsa Date Night at Holtaire, half sister to 1! Another lovely girl from the top drawer, she is balanced & quality with an excellent feminine head & expression, lovely eyes well set & of the correct shape, well set & carried ears, she is well bodied & put down in excellent coat & condition, moved so well on well boned legs & feet with good markings, showed well & it was a difficult call between 1 & 2, both so true & correct; 3 Cawley’s Ch Marlablue In A Twirl. VB (1) 1 Greenslade’s Calastoa’s Material Girl, a grand 8 year old who was having a lovely time showing today, a nice size with a feminine head & expression, well set & carried tail, good markings & moved well, just would benefit from not eating too many pies but she still is a lovely typical girl.
