FIRST DAY – GOOD CITIZEN (45,24a) 1 Mitchell’s Roydack Ruby Hidden Gem at Brobruick, what a cracking Gordon Setter who relished the best in show ring as he flowed round the ring with such style & grace. This well coated dog is a good example of the breed, excellent head & expression with a good neck & shoulders, lovely depth of body & he is balanced, showed his socks off in this good class to win his place; 2 Thorogood’s Sh Ch Winhampton Over The Yardarm of Harrifield, an old favourite of mine, this Clumber Spaniel just gets better with age, he is now fully matured & was put down in a lovely coat & condition, moved so well to take his place for he is a good type & quality all through, held a good topline & a well set & carried tail; 3 Vaughn’s Teisgol I Am What I Am at Phlynnies, Pointer, B (29,16) 1 Di Cesare’s Highforce I Want It All, beautiful Hungarian Vizsla bitch who is so sound & balanced, she is a lovely type with a good head & expression, good neck, shoulders & forechest, enough depth to ribcage with a good loin, correct topline & tailset, moved so well on good legs & feet; 2 Chapman’s Daisypatch Jelly Tot, lovely young Labrador who is only a baby but is just right for age, good coat, he is balanced with a nice head coming with well set ears, good neck & shoulders, held a strong topline on the move with a well set tail which was carried well, this yellow has potential; 3 Woodham’s Glynell Jiffy, PETS AS THERAPY (21,12) 1 Pilkington’s Shannara Total Eclipse, excellent Welsh Springer male who is such a sound mover, in excellent coat & condition, beautiful head & expression, lovely neck & shoulders, good topline & tailset, well muscled hindquarters, deserved his win on his showmanship today; 2 Cox’s Bardonhill’s The New Ginger at Tiroen, pretty Irish Setter bitch with excellent hindquarters, she took time to settle but when she did, she had a good profile with her excellent head carriage & strong topline & well carried tail, put down in excellent coat & condition, she is very feminine in outlook; 3 Mills’ Trendlewood Day Dreaming, Labrador. BRACE (9,3) 1 Burgess’ brace of Tollers who moved as one, so very typical & lovely types, both in good coat, they showed so well & didn’t put a foot wrong; 2 Saunders’ Pointers, although different colours they were very similar in type & outlook, made a good brace & showed as one; 3 Griffiths’ Hungarian Vizslas. CHAMPION (23,9) 1 Nencini’s It Ch Polcevera’s Annibale, what a fabulous Bracco! I loved his head & expression, length of neck & shoulder placement, excellent topline & tailset, in hard muscular condition, he is balanced & quality but where he came alive was on the move, up & back was copybook but profile movement just gave me goosebumps with his head carriage & perfect footfall, there was no effort at all, he moved with such ease & purpose. Loved his type & balance & I so look forward to following his progress. At the end of four day’s competition, I could find nothing to lower his flag & I wish him luck in the finals; 2 Martin’s Sh Ch Sunhouse Cheerio, o/w Pointer bitch of quality, lovely type & just right for size & balance, pretty head & expression, excellent forequarters, good topline & well muscled hindquarters, correctly set & carried tail, moved so well to win her place in this star studded class; 3 Bryant, Nelson, Caine & Lee’s Sh Ch Nasailleen Secret Liaison, American Cocker. VETERAN (15,9) 1 Mitchell & Payne’s Sh Ch Peasblossom Jester, no wonder he caught my eye as I had given him a CC as a younger dog, he doesn’t age, he looked as good today and he did a few years back when I judged him. He is so balanced & typy, masculine head & expression, excellent neck & shoulders with a strong topline & well set & carried tail, well muscled hindquarters, moved so well on well boned legs & feet. Put down in excellent coat & condition, he is a credit to his owners & breed; 2 Chandler’s Sh Ch Chanangel Sticky Wicket, balanced Welsh Springer male with a lovely head & expression, very masculine in outlook with great profile movement & good head carriage, in lovely coat & condition, showed so well to win his place as he has good body proportions & a lovely type; 3 Griffiths & Scott’s Ch Ulurudawn Cardinal Marker, Hungarian Vizsla.

SECOND DAY – GOOD CITIZEN (39,18) 1 Vick’s Ava Von Der Alten Festung at Vickangels, Rottweiler bitch of quality, she is well made & in hard condition, she is balanced with a good head & expression, good neck & shoulders, strong topline held both set up & moving, well muscled hindquarters, good profile movement using her well boned legs & feet to correctly cover the ground with ease; 2 Tousent & Ingram’s Jojavik Camorra, a Dobermann bitch I have admired before, she is balanced & so very feminine, pretty head & expression with well carried ears, good neck & shoulders, held a strong topline & a well set tail, moved effortlessly on well boned legs & feet, strong topline & showed her socks off to win her place; 3 French’s Lindfern Light Sabre, Shetland Sheepdog. B (13,7) 1 Massey & McGeoch’s Jojavik Kissy Suzuki, another well schooled Doberman who is so very feminine & moved so well, lovely head & expression, strong topline & well set tail, good depth of chest, good hindquarters used to advantage, I was surprised to see this lovely bitch in this class, as she is from the top drawer; 2 Vick’s Mia Von Der Alten Festung at Vickangels, another I have liked before & see no reason to change my opinion, today was a bit unsettled on the move but she has so much to admire from her feminine head with correct eye placement & shape & well set & used ears, good neck & shoulders, strong topline & good depth of chest, put down in hard muscular condition; 3 Salter’s Irisaddition Effie Trinket, Bearded Collie. PETS AS THERAPY (13,12) 1 Brason’s Ch Hutch Du Bois Du Tot, very masculine Tervueren, put down in lovely coat & condition, good ear placement & a lovely head & expression, lovely type & he is balanced, although alone, he could win anywhere in good company. BRACE (8,7) 1 Tansley’s Border Collies who were a well matched pair, very even dog & bitch, both in lovely coat & they moved well together, they are a credit to their owners & I am sure do well in the show ring. CHAMPION (34,16) 1 Ingram’s Ch Jojavik Penelope Pitstop, what a quality Dobermann bitch from the top drawer, she is an excellent showgirl who was put down in excellent coat & hard condition, excellent feminine head & expression, good neck & shoulders, good depth & width of chest, strong topline & well set tail, well muscled hindquarters, where she comes alive is on the move with her strength to cover the ground with ease & purpose, excellent head carriage in profile movement & correct footfall, showed so well to win an excellent class; 2 Cameron’s Ch Nandobears Im What Im Camnoire, what a beautiful Newfound bitch she has turned into, put down to the minute with such a pretty head & expression, lovely neck & shoulders, well boned legs & feet, good depth of chest & strong loin, lovely wide hindquarters, excellent movement, so positive & precise, she is quality & I still think she is beautiful; 3 Davies’ Ch Hyerdunscar On A Mission with Coulbymoor, Bullmastiff. VETERAN (13,8) 1 Baxter & Morris’ Ch Albanywater Sea Dancer at Davistell, this Newfoundland male was in super coat & condition, masculine head with a good eye & a lovely expression, moved so well on well boned legs & feet, he held a good topline & a well set tail, he is balanced & a credit to his owners & the breed; 2 Davies’ Ch/Rus Ch Ermyn Snow Knight, this Pembroke Corgi male was very balanced with a lovely head & expression, good body proportions, in lovely coat & condition, good neck & forequarters, good depth & width of ribcage & a strong loin, showed & moved well to take his place; 3 Tansley’s Bilyara River Ranch, Border Collie.

THIRD DAY – GOOD CITIZEN (42,26) 1 Kitchener’s Ch Michandy Realization, this black Miniature Poodle bitch was in super coat & condition, presentation was top class & enhanced her beautiful head & expression, she is balanced with a good neck & shoulder, strong topline & good hindquarters, moved well with a good head carriage & well carried tail which was well set. Super showgirl; 2 Shepherd’s Citycroft Sundaw with Oxana, f/w quality Whippet boy who I was very taken with, so free & easy in movement with excellent head carriage hold a good topline & a well muscled hindquarter which he used effortlessly to cover the ground. Put down in excellent condition with a lovely head & good ear set; 3 Hodge’s Colkeririn Face To The Sun, Rhodesian Ridgeback. B (31,19) 1 Alexander-Cunniffe’s Tejayse Beautiful Trauma, lovely head & expression on this lovely Shih Tzu bitch, put down in excellent coat & condition, moved so well with good head carriage & well carried & set tail, she is very mature for age & she has good body proportions; 2 Pearmain & Sherwood’s Delandmar Greta Garbo, pretty Miniature Smooth Dachshund of a nice type, she has good length & her body proportions are just right, pretty head & expression, good keep & strong hocks, she moved well & showed very well to win here; 3 Hall’s Balgay Kitang Po, Tibetan Spaniel. PETS AS THERAPY (25,22) 1 Owen’s Caryna Khepri, b/cr Saluki male who was a beautiful mover, he is balanced & a nice type, masculine head & expression, good bone & feet, good fringes & very masculine in outlook, good depth of chest & a nice topline; 2 Sutton & Pankhurst’s Lilia Rose at Damai, Longhaired Dachshund bitch of a good length, slightly distracted on the move by the smells in the ring but she was in good coat & condition, very feminine in outlook with a beautiful head & expression, good neck & shoulders with a good keel & good ribcage; 3 Webster’s Moonjoon Sweet Nothings, Beagle. BRACE (14,8) 1 Reed’s Whippets, these f/w girls were well matched & moved as one, they are of a lovely type, so pretty & a good pair, lovely to see two in such perfect harmony; 2 Owen’s Salukis, well matched pair of b/s boys, who moved so well together matching their footfalls so well, it was a very close decision as these two obviously work very well together & are so very typical & alike; 3 Coupland’s Shih Tzu. CHAMPION (35,13) 1 Anderson’s Ch Zentarr Tobias, this Lhasa Apso topped an excellent class which was full of quality but he just fought his way to the top. What a quality boy who was put down to the minute with a lovely head & expression, his head is of good proportions leading into an excellent neck & shoulders, strong topline which was held on the move & set up, well set & carried tail, good ribcage & loin, when he moved he covered the ground with ease & grace, he just kept calling me back, I couldn’t resist his quality & balance, He became the overall runner-up, thank you for letting me judge him, it was a pleasure; 2 Tope’s Ch Falconcrag Class Act for Dewerstone, he certainly is a class act, this Whippet boy just shines, he is a f/w of a lovely type, he is so masculine & of a good size, loved his head & expression, excellent neck & shoulders, good depth & width of chest & strong loin leading to a well carried & set tail which in turn heled to give him the correct topline, again such a good mover both up & back & in profile with excellent head carriage; 3 Dunhill Hall’s Ch Vormund The Real Slim Shady, Shiba Inu. VETERAN (24,16) Andrew’s Dagsljus Against All Odds at Claran, a 7 year old German Spitz (Mittel) bitch who was still in excellent coat & condition, she is balanced & moved so well on well boned legs & feet, pretty head & expression, good topline & a well set & carried tail, good depth of chest; 2 Wayman’s Cobyco Chasing Stars at Scarletfair, yet another top class Whippet of 8 years of age, again in lovely condition for age & again moved so well keeping a correct topline & tail carriage, still in lovely muscletone, very masculine in outlook, lovely type & balancew; 3 Thompson & Taylor’s Ch Kelshanti Jamila Urbi, Rhodesian Ridgeback.

FOURTH DAY – GOOD CITIZEN (22,11) 1 Curtis’ Ch Brakemill Barnum, wow what a cracking dog to have in this class, this Skye Terrier is quality, he was in excellent coat & condition, excellent head & expression, lovely ears & length of topline, excellent neck & shoulders, in lovely muscular condition, he moved so well with style & confidence, showed so well, I just couldn’t ignore him; 2 Paradise’s Rickenny’s George Ezra with Shardlow, Pekingese dog who was presented in full coat which was in excellent condition & presented so well, excellent head & expression, he picks up heavy with a good forequarters & excellent ribcage, well set & carried tail, he was fit & moved so well; 3 Henshall’s Ch Gemolli Joie De Vivre, Italian Greyhound. B (27,14) 1 Burrows’ Pendevour Pierrot, very nice Cesky Terrier male who was in lovely coat & condition, good head & expression, well carried ears, good neck & shoulders, correct topline & tailset, good hindquarters & a good forequarters, moved well with purpose & showed with a determination; 2 Rogers’ Lorecon Daybreak at Lunafox, Smooth Fox Terrier bitch of quality, has many good points, good topline & well set & carried tail, feminine head with a split markings but this does not detract from her length of forefact & eye shape & setting, well carried ears, good neck & shoulders, well boned legs & feet, moved well; 3 Heeley’s Thistlemead Harmony, Border Terrier. PETS AS THERAPY (10,4) 1 Berry’s Ch Karamynd Star Player with Ashgate, quality West Highland White Terrier male who was put down in excellent coat & condition, so well presented, excellent head & expression, good neck & shoulders, strong topline & well set tail, well boned legs & feet, moved so well both up & back & in profile, so very true in movement; 2 Dowty’s Multi Ch Little White Wonder Othello Matteo, Bolognese male from the top drawer, he is balanced with a good masculine head & expression, excellent coat & condition, moved & showed well to win his place in this good class; 3 Doran’s Choya Takahiro with Osakazuki, BRACE (10,2) 1 Windows-Hitchens’ Border Terriers, mother & daughter pair who were well matched, of a good size & in excellent coat & condition, moved true & together; 2 Dowty’s Bolognese, again very close up this pair were also put down in excellent coat & condition, of a good size, they were very well matched & when they moved, they too moved as one. Two lovely braces; 3 Cox’s ETTs. CHAMPION (24,12) Cawthera-Purdy’s Ch Reta Hugo’s There Lireva, this Pomeranian boy was in excellent coat & condition, loved his head & expression, very masculine in outlook & I liked his balance, showed well but it was when he moved that he really shone, he said “I’m here, who is second”. Good neck & shoulders, good length of body to balance with a well set & carried tail, well boned legs & feet, liked his body proportions & type; 2 Moles, Williams & Dalton’s Ch Celtannia Atlantic Gold, Soft Coated Wheaten male who was put down in excellent coat & condition, well boned legs & feet used to cover the ground with ease & purpose, loved his head, neck & shoulders, good topline & tailset, he has good body proportions; 3 Loveless, Dowty & Connolly’s Am/Port/Swed Ch Arbens Epic Swag of Los Perritos, Havanese. VETERAN (13,4) 1 Curtis’ Ch Brakemill Barnum, who won the Good Citizen class earlier & then went to the breed, took BOB and the Breed Record, congratulations; 2 Henley’s Ch Turigner Thunderbolt, this Italian Greyhound boy stood up to the wind affecting the tent, nothing would worry him, such a lovely head & expression, good topline & tailset, moved well, carrying his nearly 8 years very lightly; 3 Collinson & Dare’s Ch Collypins Lickety Split, Min Pin.
