Minor Puppy Dog (2, 1abs):

1ST Mrs M & Mr I Trotter, Lussac Winter Wizard: At 8 months of age, very well balanced young lad, A quality puppy. Correct size for his age with excellent head and soft expression. Correct, clean and complete dentition. Good reach of neck leading through to well laid back shoulder and corresponding return of upper arm. Correct depth of brisket for his age. Maintains a level topline. Correct rib/loin ratio. Well made hindquarters. Good bone and feet. Moved accurately. Moved very well and accurately for one so young.


Puppy Dog (6, 1abs):


1ST Mrs M & Mr I Trotter, Lussac Winter Wizard.


2ND Miss D Warrington, Arminzeras King Of The West To Woodavens (IMP NOR): Loved this boys outline and balance, lovely head and expression, correct, clean and complete dentition, good reach of neck into well placed shoulders and return of upper arm, correct rib/loin ratio. Today he didn’t have the accuracy of the first placed dog on the move and he played his handler up.

Junior Dog (4):


1ST Mr M & Mrs P Mullins, Everblack Booze Cruise: This dog of 15 months of age presented a very clean outline, good head and expression, correct, clean and complete dentition, well placed shoulders, moderately angulated hindquarters, good quality bone all through and neat feet, moved accurately both fore, aft and in side profile and soundly.


2ND Mr A F, Mr M & Mrs C J Durrant, Glenturret Happy Go Lucky: Really liked this young dog, which led to a very close decision between first and second. Nicely made boy all through, good head and expression, well placed ears, correct, clean and complete dentition, clean neck into good forehand assembly, presented a lovely outline, moved well just needs to go up a gear as he was little laid back when showing himself.

2ND Miss H Bright, Hopevalley Morning Twister: Dog of just 17 months, a very nice type and presented well, pleasing head and expression, good eye, correct, clean and complete dentition, very good bone and feet, clean neck into well placed shoulders, good width to chest, moderate hind angulation, moved well


Graduate Dog (4, 1abs):


1ST Mr A & Mrs A Laird, Islstrom Black Grouse Of Daicheil: Extremely well balanced dog of medium size, pleasing head and expression, a little short in muzzle, correct, clean and complete dentition, Good reach of neck leading through to well laid back shoulder and corresponding return of upper arm. Good depth of brisket. Level topline. Correct rib/loin ratio. Well made hindquarters with good hock to heel placement. Good bone and feet. Moved accurately. Presented in super condition and showed well.




2ND Miss G & Dr L Smithreman & Roberts, Seaheart Crian At Gloi JW: Another very good dog from this Kennel. This dog presented and very good and clean outline, he has a very good head and expression, very good eye and correctly set ears, correct, clean and complete dentition, today he looked to be carrying a little bit too much weight over his shoulders, very good forehand assembly, well ribbed back into strong loin and muscled hindquarters, good bone all through and moved very well.

Post Graduate Dog (2):


1ST Mrs M & Mr I Trotter, Lussac Vill I An JW: Very well presented dog of nearly 3 years of age. A very workmanlike dog all through and totally free from any exaggeration. Very good head and expression, correct, clean and complete dentition. Strong neck leading into well placed shoulder and corresponding return of upper arm, good width and depth to chest, well sprung ribs and correct rib to loin proportions, strong hindquarters, very good quality bone and feet. Moved well and accurately when asked both fore and aft and in side profile. My pleasure to be able to award him Reserve Dog CC.


2ND Mrs A J Carter, Lizzlog Chicago Outfit: This dog that was very well presented and shown, slightly stronger in head that I would have preferred, kind expression, well placed ears, correct, clean and complete dentition, correct and muscular forehand assembly, chest of good depth and width, strong hindquarters. Overall a very nice dog, moved and shown well.


Mid Limit Dog (7, 1abs):


1ST Mrs S, Mrs G & Mr M, Knight & Jacobs, Gemswin Rolling In The Deep JW: Balanced dog of 4 years, presented and shown beautifully, good balanced head with correct eye, correct, clean and complete dentition, clean, muscular neck into well made forehand assembly, deep chest ribbed well back, strong, moderately angulated hindquarters, excellent bone all through, moved very well


2ND Mrs P Bellamy, Bochilbarley Blue Moon (Ai): Dog of 3 years, with a good balanced outline, pleasing head and expression with correct, clean and complete dentition, clean neck into very good forehand assembly, deep chest well ribbed , moderate turn of stifle, moved very well.

Limit Dog (7, 1abs):


1ST Mr M & Mrs P Mullins, Seaheart Byron: A super quality beautifully presented and balanced dog. Of correct overall proportions. Excellent head and expression. Correct, clean and complete dentition Well laid back shoulder and corresponding return of upper arm. Good width to chest. He has the correct depth of brisket and his rib/loin proportions are exactly as I would want. Strong topline leading through to correct tailset. Excellent bone and feet. Today he moved with drive and purpose and accurately and to me typifies the type and size of dog that we appear to have lost. My absolute pleasure to award him the Dog CC (His third I later learned) and very proud to see him later shortlisted into the final 8 of a strong Gundog Group by Becky Johnson (a well respected judge of the Gundog Group and Flatcoat Breed Specialist).


2ND Mrs V & Ms L Goldberg & Keight, Laurvic Talking Italian: A strong upstanding dog of nearly four years, presented in very good condition. Good head, correct, clean and complete dentition, strong neck leading into well placed shoulders, good depth and width to chest, strong loin, strong, moderately angulated hindquarters, A worthy second place in this class, which he won on his overall soundness and accuracy on the move.

1ST Mrs B Reynolds, CH Wiccanssage Hugo’s Dream JW: 3 year old dog beautifully presented and very well balanced, pleasing head and expression with correct, clean and complete dentition. Strong, clean neck into well made forehand assembly, deep chest of good width, strong loin, well muscled hindquarters with moderate turn of stifle, moved very well and soundly.


2ND Mrs A & S Altukhova & Belikova, Rus CH Bersifjor Benfatto IO [ATC AV03121RU] A dog 5 years of age well made all through, pleasing head and expression, correct, clean and complete dentition, a little straight in front, good width to chest, well muscled hindquarters, good bone and feet, moved and handled very well.

Veteran Dog (3):


1ST Mrs S, Mrs G & Mr M, Knight & Jacobs, SH CH Broomsward Hugo Boss By Gemswin ShCM: Mature dog who still presented a very balanced picture and of good proportions. Typical head with good eye, correct, clean and complete dentition, correct, strong neck into well placed shoulders, well ribbed, strong hindquarters, moved very well.


2ND Miss G Smitherman, Covellyn’s Arctic Loon Of Seaheart JW (IMP CH): Another extremely well balanced dog and of good proportions. He presented with a good head, clean, correct and complete dentition, deep chest with good width, well ribbed into strong loin, the first placed dog just edged this exhibit on movement today, which was more fluid and with drive.

Super feminine head and soft expression, correct, clean and complete dentition, clean neck, excels in forehand construction, well ribbed, correct rib/loin proportions, strong loin, moved accurately. My Pleasure to award her Best Puppy In Breed


2ND Miss G A Williams, Wistaston Lucky Choice: Another super puppy, who just couldn’t keep still! Very well balanced, lovely head with the kindest of expressions, correct, clean and complete dentition, very good forehand assembly, moved well.

1ST Mrs J B Campbell, Starworkers Bye Bye Baby: I thought this young bitch was extremely nice and a great prospect for the future. She is the correct size and beautifully balanced. Excellent head and eye. Correct, clean and complete dentition. Well laid back shoulder with corresponding return of upper arm. Correct rib to loin proportions with well made hindquarters. Good bone and feet. Moved and shown to advantage. In excellent coat and condition. 

2ND Mrs C Gray, Satinbaze Charisma (Ai): A bitch of 15 months of age, Another quality bitch. Good overall balance. Excellent head and expression, Correct layback of shoulder and corresponding return of upper arm. Good topline and strong hindquarters. Her movement viewed in profile demonstrates a good length of stride – could do with a little more practice with her handler.

2ND Ms E J & Dr L Walker & Roberts, Gloi Dubh Illusion: A bitch that was beautifully presented, with very good head and expression. Correct, clean and complete dentition, Good overall balance. Well made forequarters with elbows close to brisket. Level topline. Well muscled hindquarters with good bone and feet. Not quite the movement of the winner


Graduate Bitch (7, 1abs):


1ST Miss G & Mr P Smitherman, Seaheart Cecilia JW: Absolutely loved this top class bitch. For me she is everything the standard asks for. She is balanced, workmanlike, powerful without lumber and raciness without weediness. She is the correct size with no exaggerations whatsoever. Beautiful one piece head with the softest of expressions. Correct, clean and complete dentition, excellent layback of shoulder and return of upper arm. Her brisket is deep. Correct spring of rib leading to short strong loin. Powerful hindquarters with good width of second thigh. Correct hock to heel placement. On the move she showed an excellent side gait and was accurate fore and aft. She came closer than she and her handler will ever know to top honours. My pleasure to award her Reserve Bitch CC.


2ND Miss A Bellamy, Moontorn Goddess Of Love: 2 year bitch who presented a super picture, well made all through. Good head and expression. Correct, clean and complete dentition. Correct layback of shoulder. Moved well showing a level topline and a good length of stride. 


3RD Mr R Stevenson, Bonnyhilbrae Calypso

1ST Mrs A J Carter, Lizzlog Top Totty: 2 year old bitch beautifully presented, Slightly larger than I would like but well proportioned, very good head and expression, correct, clean and complete dentition, good forehand assembly, super bone and feet, strong hindquarters, moved very well


2ND Mr G & Mrs J Goodman, Blacklake Isabella: A bitch of nearly 3 years of good type and substance, pleasing head and feminine expression, ears well set, correct, clean and complete dentition, well placed shoulders, good depth to brisket, moderately angulated hindquarters, moved and shown very well.

Mid Limit Bitch (3):


1ST Ms E J & Dr L Walker & Roberts, Gloi Dubh Gigha JW: At 4 years of age, well made all through, Another quality bitch. Good overall balance. Excellent head. Correct, clean and complete dentition. Correct layback of shoulder and corresponding return of upper arm. Good topline and strong hindquarters. Her movement was both accurate and true.


2ND Miss G & Mrs S Williams & Goodwin, Wistaston Another Love JW: A 3½ bitch, well made again, very good head, correct, clean and complete dentition, good forehand assembly, deep chest of good width, strong hindquarters, tail set on a little high, moved well.


3RD Mrs J Holmes, Wiccansage Virtue At Rydanah: 




Limit Bitch (6, 2abs):


1ST Ms I Gilchrist, Seaheart Bryony With Ardmhor: I absolutely love this bitch for type, balance and size. She is free from any exaggeration, a classical head and expression, correct, clean and complete dentition, excellent layback of shoulder and return of upper arm. Her brisket is deep and she has good width between her forelegs. Correct spring of rib leading to short strong loin. Powerful hindquarters with good width of second thigh. Correct hock to heel placement. On the move she showed an excellent side gait and was accurate fore and aft. 

My pleasure to award her the Bitch CC, which was extremely well deserved, in the Challenge for Best Of Breed, the Dog presented the more complete picture as he was complete with full furnishings, a truly lovely bitch. 


2ND Mrs P Lane-Ridyard, Kulawand Kodebreaker JW: I really love this bitch, she is 4 years of age. Well made and again of good overall proportions, extremely good head and kindest of expressions, very good forehand assembly, deep chest with good width, loin of optimum length, powerful hindquarters, good bone and feet, strong moved very well. I called her back in to challenge for the Reserve Bitch CC but disappointingly let herself and her handler down with untidy movement coming back in.

1ST Mrs J B Campbell, I Believe In Angels Oasis Of Peace At Ronevorg: A 5 year old bitch of very good proportions and the correct size. I have like her because she is so very workmanlike and totally free from exaggerations. Well balanced all through with good head and correct eye colour. Correct, clean and complete dentition, excellent layback of shoulder and depth and width of brisket. Correct spring of rib. Strong well muscled hindquarters. The best mover in the class demonstrating that she is truly fit for purpose. Considered her for higher honours.


2ND Mrs S May, Lussac Tassle: Another quality bitch, super head and expression, clean neck into excellent forehand assembly, deep chest, strong loin and moderate hindquarters, good bone and feet, moved very well – for me she was just a little loaded over the shoulders.

1ST Mrs H J Cobby, Springlindi White Bryony: A 9 year old bitch who is an absolute credit to her own and does not belie her age, Presented in super hard condition, good head with correct, clean and complete dentition, very good forehand assembly, very well balanced all through, good bone, moved very well.
