Weimaraner

Really enjoyed judging this delightful breed, my first time awarding CC’s. I would like to applaud the Weimaraner exhibitors for their sportsmanship, they should be noted by some.

Dogs

Minor Puppy

1: ANSONA SINGLE MALT (MRS J C & MR M BENNETT & SLIMAK), interesting class all at different stages and some throwing away all their chances. This dog won the class on his precision on the move. Decent head and expression, good forehand and well let down behind. A tad tense in topline at present but he is young. Moved on the right track out and back and kept an outline in profile.

2: SILBERLISS EXCALIBUR FOR ASTRAZONE (MRS G & MRS C G HARTLEY & MYERS), really liked this young male. He has a super head and expression and to go over there is little you would change. However he was determined to throw away any chance he had. Shame

3: SILBERLISS SECRET SQUIRREL (MRS J LEVITT-SMILLIE

Puppy

1: KALIMOR ACCOLADE TO RAYSTANS (MRS C & MRS S RAYNER & MASKELL), very impressive young male who already is all of a piece. Liked his head and expression, strong neck into firm topline. Completely balanced in outline and well angulated. In superb condition. On the move he has an easy stride and really uses himself to advantage. Good one and couldn’t resist him today for the RCC and BP. Sure he has a bright future ahead of him.

2: ANSONA SINGLE MALT (MRS J C & MR M BENNETT & SLIMAK)

3: SILBERLISS EXCALIBUR FOR ASTRAZONE (MRS G & MRS C G HARTLEY & MYERS)

Junior

1: MABANIKA STETSON (MRS B H THORNE), decent shape to this boy, pleasing in head, balanced in outline. On the move he has a free stride and keeps his outline. In good condition

2: GUNALT INFORMER (MR S SHEBI), in super condition, and he is super for type. He needs just a little more experience for his benefit but the more he was moved, the better he got. Keep persevering!!

Yearling

1: MABANIKA STETSON (MRS B H THORNE)

2: SILVERKELVIN JUPITER (MR A & MRS P MCMAHON), decent head and expression. He is good for size. Today he was a tad erratic with his front and this cost him. In super condition. Would perhaps prefer a little less angulation behind

Post Graduate

1 ENRYB JACK FROST FOR WINBORNE (MR I & MRS M OSBORNE): all male in good condition. Once settled he moved on the right track.

Limit

1: SILVERKELVIN METEORITE AT NIKOSTRATUS (DR N J S HENDERSON), fully mature and with super muscle condition. He has a pleasing head and expression, decent front and strong topline. Moved ok when he put his mind to it

Open

1: SH CH GUNALT UNDENIABLE AT JONEVA JW (MR J & MR P M EVANS & PAVEY), three super boys. This dog has the most delightful head and expression on him. He is so good to go over and is moderate all through. In superb condition. On the move he has the most fantastic forward reach and uses his rear end to advantage. The complete package today. CC & BOB

2: SH CH GUNALT ACADEMY OF RAYSTANS JW SHCM (MRS C & MRS S RAYNER & MASKELL), another super dog with a decent head but not quite the expression of the winner. He too is so balanced and there is little to change on going over him. He covers the ground but just not quite the reach of the winner. But I can see them changing places on more than one occasion.

3; SH CH HUNDWITH MCLAREN (MR D J CROWTHER)

Veteran

1: SH CH/IR SH CH GREYSPIRIT ROYAL SCOT AT TRILITE SHCM CJW10 IR JUN CH (MISS J P & MR R MACLAINE & DICKSON), 11 year old in superb condition. Pleasing head and expression. Won the class on his freedom of stride. Decent for type.

2: SILBERSTERN WATER BUOY (MR A & MRS J RINTOUL), 10 year old who is also in the most fabulous condition. Liked his head and expression. He sloped a tad in topline and was a little stiff in front today.

3: MINAMA ROAMIN' DOWN UNDER (AI) JW (MISS F BANNERMAN)

Special Beginners

1: SILVERKELVIN JUPITER (MR A & MRS P MCMAHON)

2: GUNALT INFORMER (MR S SHEBI)

Good Citizen

1: MINAMA ROAMIN' DOWN UNDER (AI) JW (MISS F BANNERMAN), good nick, pleasing for shape, could use his front a tad more in profile.

2: GUNALT INFORMER (MR S SHEBI)

Bitches

Minor Puppy

1: GUNALT INTRIGUING (MR P ATKINSON), 8 month old and raw at present but time is on her side. Sweet in expression, she has a firm topline and is in the most wonderful condition. Moved as one would expect from a baby but she showed moments where I could see what she could do.

Puppy

1: SABSKY SASANKA (S PILATOVA), balanced in outline she has a firm topline and well set tail. Decent front and her ribbing is coming along. Moved out well for her age.

Junior

1: SABSKY SASANKA (S PILATOVA), improved as she went on

2: RACHMOR SILVER TASSIE (MISS & MRS MURRAY RE & M), very pleasing outline stacked and she is totally balanced. Sweet in expression. On the move she just lost out to the fluidity of the puppy today.

3: SCHONHUND SHOW TALLULAH (MRS S J & MR S A CAIN)

Yearling

1: NETHERHILL EURO MILLION JW (MISS C RUDDY), decent young lady who produces a pleasing outline stacked up. Strong topline and well set tail. Good for angulation she uses herself well on the move particularly in profile.

2: SCHONHUND SHOW TALLULAH (MRS S J & MR S A CAIN), liked her head and expression and although going through her teenage stage at present, she has potential, a tad erratic on the move but it will come.

3: DUNHERL'S LOCH CORUISK (MRS L A DUNCAN)

Post Graduate

1: GREYSPIRIT HOPES N DREAMS JW (MISS J P & MR R MACLAINE & DICKSON), won the class on her profile movement and carriage. Head ok. Good neck into firm topline. Pleases for balance of angulation. On the move she is ok out and back but it is in profile that she scores, being light and free in action.

2: BRAEFELL FIRECREST JW (MR M A & MISS D L SAYER & WALLWORK), preferred the head of this girl and she too has a pleasing outline stacked. Balanced in angulation and in super condition. On the move she puts her feet in the right place but feel that she could just put a little more effort in to advantage.

3: DUNHERL'S LOCH CORUISK (MRS L A DUNCAN)

Limit

1: GUNALT ADORABLE FROM LADWEY SHCM (MS L YEWDALL), really delightful bitch with quality in spades. She has the most beautiful head and expression. Totally balanced in outline and screams type. On the move she is effortless and really covers the ground. Liked her very much indeed and was delighted to award her the CC, her 3rd I was told and so a very well deserved Champion.

2: KUANTAN BEAU RIVARGE OF RACHMOR (MISS & MRS MURRAY RE & M), pleasing for size, in super condition. Moved on the right track out and back but not the ground coverage of the winner today.

3: GREYSPIRIT PURDUE JW SHCM CJW17 (MISS J P & MR R MACLAINE & DICKSON)

Open

1: SMILEK EYES OF SILVER JW (MR & MRS L J, MRS C & MRS S REILLY, RAYNER & MASKELL), interesting class with both bitches having points to like about them and I can see them changing places at times. This bitch has a super head and expression, good front and firm topline. Well set tail although she was a tad proud of it on the move. Moved out with an easy stride

2: KALIMOR ARMANI AT ROBRICCI JW (MR D & MRS K ROBSON), liked his bitch too, she has a balanced outline, a mite longer than the winner and was a little softer in topline today. However she moves on the right track and covers the ground. I super condition.

Veteran

1: SH CH GUNALT THE LOOK AT RAYSTANS JW SHCM (MRS C RAYNER), quite delightful. Gorgeous head and expression. Screams type and is balanced in angulation. She is in the most amazing condition. On the move she could show some of the youngsters how it should be done, being sound and powerful. Just a smidge longer in back than the CC winner and this was the deciding factor. RCC and BV

2: MINAMA BELIEVE IN ME SHCM (AI) (MISS F BANNERMAN), in great condition and moving as a youngster. Well ribbed and strong topline. Credit to her owner

3: SILVERKELVIN RISING STAR (MISS S & MR P R WHITE & SCOUGALL)

Special Beginners

1: ALMOOR LADY GAGA (L DUFFY), in good condition. Well ribbed and decent topline. Moved well for her young handler and puts her feet in the right place.

Good Citizen

1: MINAMA BELIEVE IN ME SHCM (AI) (MISS F BANNERMAN)

2: SELHENDO SPECIAL EDITION (MISS F BANNERMAN), good depth to her chest and well ribbed back. Sloped slightly in topline today and could have used herself more in profile.

3: SELHENDO FIRST EDITION AT NOTHFANTASMA (MRS J BECKLEY)
