Many thanks for my lovely entry. I haven’t judged this variety for a while so it was great to have so many lovely dogs to go over. There were some tough decisions and it was down to minute details in some classes and especially awarding top honours.
Minor Puppy Dog (6 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: BELL Tolberg Liquorice Torpedo Black and tan super baby, lovely head and expression. Nice arched neck leading to correct placed shoulders. Good length of ribbing and moved positively coming and going DCC. He just lost to his sister for BOB at the end of a long day.
2nd: MILLS-JONES Carlita Made in Wales, Shaded red youngster. These will surely change places many times . Another super mover, moving with drive and keeping his topline. Cracking head and expression and good length of rib. Close decision.
3rd: CONNOLLY & DONNELLY Rosilath Emmet
Puppy Dog (3 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: CONNOLLY & DONNELLY Rosilath Emmet Nice little red dog, best mover in this class. Correct head and eye and good ribbing. Had the best feet of the day but didn’t go so well in the challenge.
2nd: DUNHILL Gellijams Russian Sun Quite a nice shape but carrying a little to much weight and on the move was a little loose behind.
3rd: JENNINGS Jenivon Mr Mischief
Junior Dog (4 Entries) Abs: 2
1st: HUNT Wolferlow George Brown at Carpaccio, Petite Chocolate dog well put together and moved really well . Prominent forechest and excellent ribbing a little to round in eye for me.
2nd:MASON Teckletown Something Magic Black and tan, would prefer a more masculine head and although he moved really well he was reluctant to show himself to advantage while on the table.. Higher on the leg than the winner.

2nd: BLACKBURN BENNETT Stargang Barracuda. When I went over this dog I thought he was my winner. He is a lovely shape throughout and preferred his head to the winners. Great forechest and ribbing and lovely angulation front and rear. However today he moved a bit close behind. I’m sure he’ll soon get made up.
