Windsor Dog Show Society

Thank you to Windsor Committee for this appointment and to my very experienced stewards for making my life so easy in the ring. Thank you also to the exhibitors for taking my decisions with good grace.  

Very pleased to see that fronts have improved and mouths are looking better than the last time I judged, also pasterns are looking a lot stronger than previously. Toplines are definitely improving without losing good tail set and carriage. Type is a bit all over the place but this is just my opinion.  

 Veteran Dog or Bitch (2 Entries) Abs: 1  

1st: ROBINSON Mr K E & Mrs C Danjerrie Drover at Tazmanic JW. 8.5 yr old male, Nice head with good muzzle, dark eye and well placed ears, short neck, excellent forechest, straight topline and correct tailset, good bone and excellent mover for his age. Best Veteran, 

Minor Puppy Dog (5 Entries) Abs: 1  

1st: BATESON Mr N Upend Blade. Good size 8 months old, presented a lovely profile on the stand, expressive head with dark eye and well placed ears. Good reach of neck and clean shoulders, tight feet, good top and underlines, correct tailset and carriage, moved round the ring effortlessly with reach and drive. Best Puppy in Breed. 

2nd: WILLIAMS Miss S Montelago Stars N'stripes. 6 months old and slightly longer cast than one. Broad clean head with correct earset, deep stop and short muzzle, almond shaped dark eyes. Super bone and correct tailset and carriage, balanced angles allowed free and correct movement. 

3rd: LOCKYER, P & ROBINSON K E & C Guardami Kingsman.  

Puppy Dog (4 Entries) Abs: 2  

1st: GARRATT-GRIFFITHS , Ms S & DUNHILL-HALL Ms M, Fantasa Man In Motion. 9.5 months old, Excellent broad clean head with good earset and medium eye. Lovely strong neck leading into clean shoulders and correct forechest for age, Good top and under lines, which held on the move, nice bone and good tailset. 

2nd: EZZARD Mrs T K, Jacraila Halfdan the Black To Kassasan. 9 months old, Good head with dark eyes and correct ears, clean shoulder, deep loin, slightly low tailset, good angles but carrying a bit too much weight which spoilt his movement. 

Junior Dog (4 Entries) Abs: 0  

1st: DUNHILL HALL Miss M S, Fantasa Blu Diablo. 15 months old, caught my eye on the stand and certainly didn’t disappoint me on the move. Broad clean head with correctly placed ears, Medium eye and fairly short muzzle, Strong crested neck leading into clean well laid shoulders, short strong back and loin and level top and underlines which held on the move, super bone and good feet, good width between the pin bones, correct tailset and good rear angles with excellent upper thigh, just the type of rear end I love and allows for effortless movement and superb reach and drive, looked like he could move all day. Dog CC & Best Of Breed. 

2nd: CHANDLER, Miss R & COULSON Mr J E, Bevanray Urwin. 13 months old, Slightly larger and rangier than one but with super bone and substance. Very strong head with dark eye and black pigment, good reach of neck leading into clean shoulders, balanced front and rear angles, moved well. 

3rd: BARNES Mrs J, Panelma The Navigator At Gyrima.  

Yearling Dog (2 Entries) Abs: 0  

1st: JAMES, Miss A & THOMPSON Mr S, Bamabel Ezekiel.  20 month old very well muscled male, Strong head with deep stop and short muzzle, Dark eyes and good ear carriage. Strong crested neck leading into lovely clean, well laid shoulders, excellent short back with short strong loin, very good bone and super tight feet, balanced front and rear angles allowing for super reach and drive. Res Dog CC. 

2nd: KICHENSIDE Mrs W & Mr I, Jaegerot Man In The Mirror. 22 months old, Strong head with dark eye, good bone and tight feet, correct tailset, moderate angles, moved OK. 

Novice Dog (1 Entries) Abs: 0  

1st: EZZARD Mrs T K, Jacraila Halfdan the Black To Kassasan. 

Post Graduate Dog (5 Entries) Abs: 2  

1st: DEVEREUX Ms A, Dortmund Kingpin. 2 yrs old. Correct head with dark eye and correct length of muzzle, excellent lay of shoulder and balanced angles front and rear, moved out well but slightly lost his topline on the move. 

2nd: HAIGH Mrs J L & Mr G C, Bevanray Rolo for Jaqary. 3 yrs old, Clean strong head with medium eye, Balanced front and rear, slightly longer cast, moved OK. 

3rd: KICHENSIDE Mrs W & Mr I, Cheroho Gamorian Guard. 

Limit Dog (4 Entries) Abs: 0  

1st: LOCKYER Mr S & Mrs P, Guardami the King's Speech. 3 yrs old, Medium size short coupled compact male with super bone and tight feet. Strong head with good earset and dark eye, short back and deep strong loin, well muscled fore and aft, moved out with super reach & drive.  

2nd: HUCKER, Mrs B & ABELL Mr N & Mrs J, Bevanray Reggie. 3 yrs old, Larger & rangier than one. Good head with correct sized well placed ears. Dark eye and good depth of muzzle. Good reach of neck and deep brisket, strong loin, balanced angles and good tailset, moved out well but think the heat got to him a bit today. 

3rd: COURTNEY-BAUGHAN Mrs G, Whisperdown's Tango JW.  

Open Dog (6 Entries) Abs: 2  

1st: JAMES, Miss A & THOMPSON Mr S, Ch Bamabel Abraham JW. 5 yrs old, Super strong male. Clean strong head with deep stop, dark eye and lovely dark pigment. Good reach of neck and excellent shoulder placement, short back and strong loin. Slightly sloping croup and correct tailset. Moved out powerfully with great reach & Drive. 

2nd: TOUSENT, Mr T C & Miss T M & CRAWLEY Miss W, Ch Minaelea Taylored By Choice JW Sh.CM.  5 yrs old, Very powerful compact male who makes a lovely shape on the stand. Strong broad head with smaller ears and slightly round eye. Deep stop and short deep muzzle, mottled pigment. Short strong neck leading into clean shoulders, slightly upright upper arm. Short back and deep strong loin, balanced front and rear and powered round the ring very very soundly. 

3rd: BORNE Mr T & Mrs P, Dortmund Dodging Bullets At Trevearl  

Minor Puppy Bitch (3 Entries) Abs: 0  

1st: WATTS, L, GIBBARD, R & RIVETT S, Whisperdown All of Me at Jezeve. 7.5 months old balanced bitch, pretty head with dark eye and black pigment, balanced front and rear angles, good tailset, moved ok. 

2nd: YATES-JOHNSON Mrs J M, Whisperdown All Together To Pendley. 7.5 months old, very similar to one in type, just preferred markings and movement of one today.  

3rd: WILLIAMS Miss S, Montelago A Star Is Born. 

Puppy Bitch (5 Entries) Abs: 0  

1st: READ Mrs K, Warrimead Hope For Ketreda. 10 months old, Strong feminine head with dark almond eye, deep stop and  short muzzle, lovely forechest and good lay of shoulder, slightly rounded croup and good tail carriage. Strong bone. Won this class on her movement but would prefer her carrying slightly less weight. 

2nd: HAIGH Mrs J L & Mr G C, Jaqary Hanky Panky. 11 months old, Larger type than one. Strong very feminine head with medium dark eye and good stop and depth of muzzle. Good clean shoulders correct bone. Slightly longer cast than one, good tail carriage and moved out well. 

3rd: CLARK Mr K & Mrs G, Botlierskop Titan Theia (Gkc).  

Junior Bitch (1 Entries) Abs: 0  

1st: CLARK Mr & Mrs B & C A, Dortmund Classic Design. 15 months old with lovely clean outline on the stand, nice head with dark eye, Super rich mahogany markings, good reach of neck on clean shoulders, short strong loin, slight high tail carriage on the move, balanced angles front and rear, moved out cleanly as seen from all angles. 

Yearling Bitch (3 Entries) Abs: 0  

1st: WINDOW Mr C N & Mrs N K, Stairvale Faith. 17 months old, Very nicely made bitch and very much my type. Strong clean head and dark pigment, short neck on clean shoulders, excellent bone, short couple with deep loin, lovely rear angles and good width to upper thigh, broad between the pin bones, correct tailset, moved out well in her class but not in the challenge. 

2nd:  VICK Mr & Mrs M E, Ava Von Der Alten Festung At Vickangels (Imp) JW. 16 months old, Super clean head, with dark almond shaped eye, small very slightly high set ears when alert, clean strong neck leading onto well laid shoulders, good forechest, slightly longer cast than one, balanced front and rear angles and also moved out really well. 

3rd: BROOKS Mr K, Tiesto Paloma Faith. 

Post Graduate Bitch (9 Entries) Abs: 1  

1st: VICK Mr & Mrs M E, Mia Von Der Alten Festung At Vickangels (Imp) JW ShCM ShCEx.  3 yrs old, Very strong and substantial bitch, Strong broad head with well placed ears and dark eye, deep stop and short deep muzzle, good reach of neck on very clean well laid shoulders, excellent forechest and deep brisket, short coupled with strong loin, balanced angles allowed her to move out cleanly with super reach and drive from all angles. Res Bitch CC. 

2nd:  WICKER Mr & Mrs J, Bolia Shania Twain. 2 yrs old, Feminine bitch with nicely placed ears and dark oval eye. Short strong muzzle and deep stop. Slightly longer cast than one. Balanced angles front & rear and correct tailset. Moved well. 

3rd: DISNEY, Miss E & TAKYAR Mr R, Guardami La La Land.  

Limit Bitch (8 Entries) Abs: 1  

1st: HOOLE Miss L, Upmont Gypsy Jazz. 3 yrs old, Very feminine bitch who makes a fabulous shape on the stand and moves effortlessly round the ring. Very pretty head with dark eye, correctly set ears and short deep muzzle, lovely reach of neck leading into clean well placed shoulders, dark mahogany markings, short back with good top and under lines. Lovely rear angles and good width to upper thigh. Just moved round the ring so easily. Bitch CC and extremely pleased to discover this was her third.  

2nd: WATTS, Mrs L & GIBBARD Mrs R, Jezeve Back To Black JW. 3 yrs old, Taller and slightly longer cast than one, presenting a clean outline in profile, Clean feminine head with dark eye and pigment, good top and underlines and balanced angles, moved freely. 

3rd: MORRIS, Miss G & JORDAN Mr S, Dortmund Dressed To Impress.  

Open Bitch (5 Entries) Abs: 2  

1st: HORTON Mrs J, Ch Juffther Happy Bunny JW Sh.CM.  4 yrs old, Strong clean head with deep muzzle, Short neck leading onto clean shoulders and excellent forechest, rich markings and tight feet, good under and top lines, slightly long second thigh. Moved out very well from all angles. 

2nd: DUNHILL HALL Miss M S, Ch Fantasa Smirnoff Blu Violet Ajw'14. 5 yrs old, Another true moving bitch. Broad clean head with correct earset and medium almond eye, deep muzzle and short strong neck leading onto clean shoulders, good forechest and compact body, super topline which held on the move. Slightly out of coat today. 

3rd: ROBINSON Mr K E & Mrs C, Gyrima Otillie.
