Richmond Standard Poodle

Always a fun breed to judge. There was much more depth of quality amongst the bitches and I had a lovely line up. Nice to see such a range of colours entered.

Veteran D (1) 1st: 4226 DAINTY, Mrs C & HARRISON, Miss J & KHAWAJA Miss Myall Storm Really g 9 yrs d. He has a masc head. Dark eyes which could be better shaped. Lengthy neck. Well laid shoulder with a good return of upper arm. Elbows could be tighter. Deep feet. Well ribbed back. Typical topline. Well set tail. Good rear. Excellent mover. Colour slightly faded now. BV Sp Beginners D. (1) 1st: 4231 FILLER Mrs N Belleazure Astreus Apricot pup of 8 mths. He is v compact in body, needs a little more confidence. Masc head. Eyes could be better shaped. Could have more neck. Moderate and balanced angulation, so moved v well. Can settle in topline. Quite a good tail. Minor Puppy D (2) 1st: 4231 FILLER Mrs N Belleazure Astreus 2nd: 4234 GILBERT Miss C R Carlonia Spring Sunshine V bouncy 6mths old d. Compact in body. He has a lengthy, masc head. Eyes rather watery and could be better shaped, but correct colour. Moderate neck. Forward in shoulder. Well ribbed back. Liked his rear, used well on move. Puppy D (1) 1st: 4240 PARKER, Miss C & WINWOOD Mrs K Montego Biffy Clyro Shapely pup. He has a lengthy, masc head which could be slightly more refined. V good expression. Lengthy neck. Fair front. Well sprung ribs that go well back. Chest to elbow. Strong topline. Well bent stifle with low hocks. Just needs to firm up but a v promising pup with correct coat texture. RCC Junior D (2) 1st: 6104 Mrs, Miss A M TAITE-SHOOSMITH & Mrs T BROWN Ausiane Greatest Showman Liked the shape of this pup. Lengthy head, eyes are rather round but dark. Scored in neck and shoulder over 2. Well ribbed. Correct topline. Enough hind angulation. Tail could be better. Good mover, on the edge of being v naughty. 2nd: 4250 WILLIAMS Mr & Mrs D & J Quarlfox Tillerman Masc d, also with a typical Poodle attitude. Just a bit longer in back than 1. His head is masc. More neck than it appears. His angulation is balanced. Chest to elbow. Well ribbed back. Post Grad D (2) 1st: 4230 FARNDON Mrs P Somanic Ice Spied To Amenria V good moving d, rather long. Has a masc head which could be more refined. Long neck. Somewhat forward in shoulder. Correct topline and tailset. Well made rear with low hocks. 2nd: 4221 BEDWELL Mr L Vicmars Smart Fella Whilst 1 is a bit long this d is v short and needing more neck. He has a lengthy head. Front could be better. Well ribbed. Good topline. Enough hind angulation. Could be a bit tidier in front. Limit D (4) 1st: 4245 RATCLIFFE, Mrs W V & BOOTH Miss D A & Mrs V J Namkia Thou Art Beloved JW Thought him the most together in this class. V masc in head, quite a good eye. Long neck. Could have a better front. Chest to elbow. V good topline. He is a fraction long. V good tail. Well made rear. Accurate out and back and could have a bit more stride. 3rd: 4247 VINCENT Mrs S Khyzahra Khal Drogo Giving his handler rather a hard time. Would like him more refined in head. Long neck. Well filled front. He is also slightly long. Firm topline. Well made rear. When settled moved well. 3rd 4224 CLARKE Mrs S M Somanic Dancin On A Cloud Open D (2) 1st: 4222 CAMPBELL Mrs L US Ch Dawin All The Buzz He has a super outline, moves so well, and full of Poodle attitude, you feel he is about to be v naughty. He has a super head, lengthy, refined, clean. Darkest of eyes. Long neck. Well made front. Super chest. V good body. Firm topline. Excellent rear. Top quality d. She has a lengthy neck. Fair front. Firm topline. Tail could be better. Moved v well. BSB 2nd: 4242 PERKINS, Miss S A & PERKINS Miss E A Belleazure Tiger Lili She is v much a baby. Fem in head. Long neck. Slightly deeper in chest than 3. Good topline. Sound but bouncy! 3rd: 4243 PERKINS, Miss S A & PERKINS Miss E A Belleazure Blue Moon Minor Puppy B (4) 1st: 4246 STAFFORD, Miss G & FULLER Mr R Kekemara Bronte At Dizzneestar TAF Really promising pup who excels in profile action. She has a fem grad, long and refined. Darkest of eye. Long neck. Well laid shoulder. Has a better depth of chest than 2. Well ribbed back. Correct topline and tail. Well bent stifle with low hocks. Accurate on the move. Thought her quite lovely. BP 2nd: 4244 PINE-HAYNES Mrs S Vicmar's Taking A Liberty She is v compact and her angulation is well balanced. She has a really super head. Dark eyes. Well set ears. Long neck. Quite a good front. Needs to develop still in chest. Well ribbed back. Good topline. Has a balanced stride and also accurate. 3rd: 4242 PERKINS, Miss S A & PERKINS Miss E A Belleazure Tiger Lili Puppy B (2) 2. V good pups. 1st: 4239 O'HIGGINS Miss S Catwalk Stage Doll At Sarnia She is a lovely shape. Really super eye and expression. Fem in head. Long neck. Would like a better lay of shoulder. Long neck. Chest to elbow. Feet can tighten. Super topline. Well ribbed. Excellent rear. Tail could be carried better. V long and light stride. 2nd: 4241 PARKER, Miss C & WINWOOD Mrs K Montego Hear Say Liked head head, well shaped. Long neck and quite a good front. Chest to elbow. Well ribbed. Moderate rear. She has an even stride, not the lengthy stride of 1. Accurate out and back. Junior B (3) 1st: 4236 JENNINGS, Mr D K & HINDLEY Miss T Alibama Double Platinum V well balanced b who has such an easy action. She has a lengthy, fem head. Correct eye colour. Well set ears. Could have slightly more neck and a slightly better shoulder, but the best front in this class. Super body. Well set tail. Rear matches her front giving a light, long, easy action, which earnt her RCC. 2nd: 4248 WELLS Mrs J Volgarus There's A Reason She is a v good shape. With compact body. Long head. Could have a better expression. Long neck. Needs more fill of chest. Firm topline. Better hind action than 3. 3rd: 4225 CORNWALL-NICHOLLS Mrs A Tasmitch I'm On Fire Post Grad B (4,2) 1st: 4227 DAWSON Mr C & Mrs B Kamarri Born To Be Wild 2nd: 4232 GARBUTT Mrs N Kertellas Live Your Dream At Tianola JW V fem b who could have a wider underjaw. Dark eyes. Long neck. She has good angulation. Firm in topline. Well set tail. Could be tidier in front. Uses her rear well. Limit B (3,1) 1st: 4235 HARWOOD, Mrs J R & Mr K P & LANGDON Mr P Atastar Rhythm Is A Dancer At Alusio She has a lovely attitude so v typical lPoodle. Super head, dark eyes and a lovely expression. Long neck. She has quite a good front. Well ribbed back. Short back. Well set tail. Plenty of hind angulation. Light footed on move. Liked her outline, well up on leg.CC 2nd: 4229 DENNISON Mrs S Labamba Melisande JW She is also a v good b. Would like a better expression. Not the neck of 1. She has a well made front. Super body. Well set tail. Could just use her well made rear better. Open B (3,2) 1st: 4220 BARKER Mrs L Crystalar Blue Opal Fem b full of character. She has a long head, could have slightly more chin. Dark eyes. Lengthy neck. Could have just a but more width in front. Fair shoulders. Chest to elbow. Good topline. Well made rear with low hocks. Could just use her rear slightly better. G length of stride. Maybe v slightly long in back for her height.
