BLACKPOOL & DCS CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW

22ND JUNE 2019

HUNGARIAN WIREHAIRED VIZSLA

PUPPY DOG (2)

1st  West’s JUNETTA DORJAN

A well-made youngster showing promise, already up to size. Head well proportioned, correct eye shape with intelligent expression, shoulders well laid and good straight front with good depth to chest. Correct harsh coat, needs to settle on the move. BPD

JUNIOR DOG (2)

Two pleasing youngsters in this class.

1st Guest’s BARDANTOP BANOFFEE

Very pleasing in head and expression with adequate furnishings. Strong neck and good shoulder lay, firm strong and level back with strong rear quarters and good width to thighs and stood on strong hocks. Has correct harsh coat of good colour and has good muscle tone. Won the class on his overall balance and outline. He has sound movement with a strong rear action covering the ground well.

2nd Deighton’s FOURLUMS TAVASZI

Another promising young male, good head proportions with moderate stop. Well- muscled neck and straight front assembly with good depth to chest and spring of rib. Would prefer him slightly longer in body to give him a better overall balance. Moved steadily both out and back and shown in tip top condition.

POST-GRAD DOG (6)

1st Thomas’s HOSOKTER TOMPA AT ODINSMOKE

A clear winner in this class. All male who presents a very balanced outline when stacked. Masculine head with adequate stop. Strong through neck, shoulders well laid with good front assembly. Well-developed hindquarters with moderate angulation.  An excellent mover covering lots of ground. Just needs his coat to come through to complete the picture.

2nd Leaver’s  LEIBORSCHY JUSSI

Good head proportions, with good eye colour and intelligent expression. Good forechest and spring of rib. Would prefer him with stronger pasterns. Coat of good texture.

3rd Chamber & Vibert’s GWAITHMAES FINGAL

LIMIT DOG (6)

1st Moss’s EWTOR NOBODY DOES IT BETTER

A dog that presents a balanced picture on the stack. Very pleasing in head with lovely expression and has good furnishings. Good front and lay of shoulder with a

strong and level topline. Adequate bend of stifle and has a free and ground covering stride. I would prefer a harsher coat to complete the picture.

2nd Saint’s ZOLDMALI TARLO

Pleasing in head with correct proportions and intelligent expression. Excellent front and shoulders and has a firm level topline, well ribbed back and is a very well constructed dog throughout. Shown in hard muscular condition with a superb harsh coat. Not as positive in rear movement as my winner today.

3rd Hibbert’s EWTOR SKYFALL AT MINDSZENTY

OPEN DOG (5)

1st Upton’s SH CH TRAGUS FOX APPEAL

Won this class on his overall balance and sound construction. He has a very attractive head and expression with adequate stop. Correct shoulder lay with good depth to chest and spring of rib. He has adequate rear angulation and strong hocks which were lacking in some exhibits. The best mover in the ring today covering the ground well and holding his topline and he has an excellent bond with his handler. Has correct harsh coat and shown in tip top muscular condition. A very worthy Show Champion of the breed and pleased to award him the CC and BOB over the bitch on his flowing movement.

2nd Newman’s CH ZOLDMALI SZELES MORGANNA JW (IMP SRB)

Another top quality upstanding male. Very pleasing head proportions with correct eye colour. Good front assembly, deep in chest and strong hindquarters with good muscle tone. Excellent harsh coat texture of good colour. Today he did not have the flowing movement of my winner. Res CC

3rd Moss’s HELIOS SOL AT EWTOR

PUPPY BITCH (3)

1st  Upton’s  TRAGUS FOX ANGEL

Very attractive in head with good eye colour and soft expression. Straight front with shoulders well laid and good depth of chest for a youngster. Adequate rear angulation and well arched feet.  Very well off for bone and substance. Still a real baby on the move as she tended to roll. Pleased to award her BP

2nd Tasker’s LEIBORSCHY MAZARINE

A finer built bitch throughout. Pretty head of good proportions, good length of neck leading to correct shoulder placement. Ample rear angulation and correct harsh coat. Had a high tail carriage on the move.

JUNIOR BITCH (4)

1st Newman’s MORGANNA ANISETTE JW

This youngster really took my eye today for her overall balance and outline. Feminine head of good proportions with correct eye colour. Excellent shoulder lay, firm level topline, strong over loin and adequate bend of stifle and strong hocks. Stands on neat and well arched feet. Correct harsh wire coat and moves very steadily and precisely both out and back. Just so much to like about her, I just wish there was more of her throughout.

2nd Gray’s OAKBERROW LET THE FUN BE GIN

Another well-made bitch of correct construction and so well balanced throughout.  I have admired her through her puppy career and she did not disappoint on going over her today. Loved her head and expression with adequate furnishings. Good front assembly, elbows close in and well ribbed back with adequate rear angulation and correct tailset. Just not as steady on the move as my winner.

3rd Harrison’s BOMBAY SAPHIRE AT SAMAKANT

POST-GRAD BITCH (6)

This was a class of quality youngsters all at different stages of development and of differing types.

1st Riley’s FASSFIELDS LIKE A BARONESS

Very appealing in head with good proportions and ample furnishings. Good straight front with good length of upper arm. Pleasing length to height ratio and strong, firm body, well ribbed back and well developed hindquarters. Has a good coat and moved so precisely both out and back with good head carriage. I am sure she will reach the top once fully matured.

2nd Harris-Mayell’s FITZROVIA TO BE A PILGRIM

A very feminine young lady, built on smaller frame than my winner. I liked her head and expression and has adequate furnishings. She is balanced throughout with good angles. Neat arched feet and has strong hocks. Although very sound going around the ring she was not as animated on the move as my winner.

3rd Summerfield’s MIADSC ETERNAL FLAME

LIMIT BITCH (3)

1st Newman’s  LANOKK VIOLESKA

One I have judged previously and she has just got better with maturity. Pretty feminine head of good proportions, kind eye and has ample furnishings and wearing her best harsh coat today. Well laid shoulders, with plenty of muscle, well sprung ribs and moderate rear angulation. Tight neat feet and stands on strong hocks. Shown in tip top muscular condition. She took the Res CC today on her sound and flowing movement.

2nd Moss’s ELECTRA ATLANTIS AT EWTOR

A taller bitch, who has an elegance about her. Attractive in head, well off for furnishings. Good straight front assembly with good depth of chest. Slopes over croup and tail well set on. Well developed hindquarters with good thighs. Good head carriage on the move but not as positive in rear movement as my first place

OPEN BITCH (5)

1st Edminson’s   KISDONS CUSTOM MADE

This quality bitch presents a very balanced picture when stacked with a clean cut outline. Pleasing head proportions with intelligent expression.  Strong neck leading to correct shoulders, adequate depth to chest, elbows well tucked in, level firm back and moderate bend to stifle. I found her moderate throughout and workmanlike and has desired close fitting harsh coat. She moved precisely and steadily. A very worthy CC winner but could not match the dog on movement in the challenge.

2nd Sweeney’s   REDRAFI GALDESSA

Another quality exhibit throughout who easily matched my winner in balance and outline. Very pleasing head and expression and correct eye colour. Good reach of neck, and well laid shoulders. Elbows could be tighter in. Moderate rear angulation and shown in good harsh coat, and had adequate furnishings. Flowed round the ring with drive just needs to tighten up in front. Pushed hard for Res CC.

3rd Summerfield’s AMBERMOORE TANZANITE BLUE AT MIADSC SHCM
