Windsor Dog Show Society

My thanks to the Officers & Committee for the opportunity to judge at this most prestigious show. It was an honour & privilege, and I also send my thanks to my two able stewards Bill & Trish and the exhibitors for their entries and good sportsmanship.The perfect dog has not been born, so when judging it’s understood you have to make compromises and today I found it challenging when doing this as there is so much diversity in breed type. The breed standard is the blueprint of every breed and all breeders should be aspiring to breed to the standard.

VD 4(1a) 1st Chadwick’s Tsantha Happy as Larry with Hajenza. Masculine, 8 yrs old, balanced, lovely head & expression. Good bone & substance, level topline, in good coat & condition and moved well. A credit to his owner. 2nd Beer & Tilley CH Bellwaycharm Time Zone for Tilbe JW Sh CM. Well balanced outline, good skull shape, nice dark eye, ample bone & substance. Has a level topline, good tail carriage and another one that is a credit to his owner. 3rd Bradshaw & Symond’s CH Cremfern Sweet Talkin Guy JW & Sh CM

MPD 4, 1st Flack’s Mifcah’s The King and I. Mature for age, broad head, dark eye, wide open nostrils. Nicely arched neck into good shoulders, short coupled, level topline. In good coat & condition and covered the ground with ease. 2nd McIntyre’s Shanitu’s Obsession. G/W with pleasing head & expression and correct bite. Good bone & substance, level topline, was in good coat and moved well. 3rd Yorke & Keree-Bartolo’s Shirkeira Ragamuffin at Middletune. Res. Keree-Bartolo’s Shirkeira Razmatazz. 

PD 11 (3a) 1st Brown’s Rossvale Eclipse of the Sun. Headed a large class, 10mth solid g/black mask. Lovely head & expression and good bone & substance. Jet black nose leathers, wide open nostrils and broad jaw. Deep chest, well ribbed, good muscle and is developing nicely. Moved well. 2nd Maule’s Daltricia Jamie Lee. B/W parti in excellent coat & condition. Dark eye, good pigment, well ribbed and moved round the ring with ease. 3rd. Turner’s Charonnis Vegas High Roller. Res. Keree-Bartolo’s Shirkeira Razmatazz. VHC. Silsbury’s. Jadoremy Red Bounty Forever.

JD 3, 1st Iley’s Rossvale Dress for Success. Broad skull & jaw, darkest of eyes with lovely expression. Has well laid shoulders, level topline with good length, depth & spring of rib, good tail-set and moves with reach & drive. 2nd Smith’s Dylan Blekitny Kanion (imp Pol). B/w, well-presented, good body, nice head and dark eye. Level topline with good tail carriage and moved well. Found him to be a little higher on leg than 1. 3rd Silsbury Jadoremy Red Bounty Forever. 

YD 3, 1st Russell & Evan’s Ta Maria Black Edition. Typical shape & balance with broad round skull and good width between the dark expressive eyes. Has good pigment & bite. Arched neck into good layback of shoulders, firm level topline, good tail-set and moved soundly. 2nd Rutter’s Chanikos Living the Dream at Ethelsmead. G/w with lovely dark expressive eyes, good nose placement and correct dentition. Arched neck into good shoulders with firm topline. Kept outline both standing and on the move. 3rd Herring’s Quingshui The Legacy .

PGD 8, 1st Dyker’s Rossvale Fun in the Sun at Kimevan. 2yrs old, lovely head & expression so typical of the breed. Good width throughout with ample bone & substance. Of good size, has level topline and well-let down chest. Moved round the ring with ease. 2nd Iley’s Yung-Lo’s Who needs a Dress. 3yr old of lovely type maturing nicely. Masculine head, dark expressive eyes, good nose placement with excellent pigment. Deep broad chest, well ribbed and level topline. Good coat texture, moved out well. 3rd Carter & Leigh’s Gladmin Soweto Storm. Res. Fairley’s Rossvale Here Comes The Sun Over Fairmere. 

LD 8 (1a) 1st Yorke’s Middletune Wildest Charmer. Nicely balanced with good head & expression. Correct bite & underjaw, ample bone & substance with deep broad chest of good length & spring of rib. Level topline, moved with reach & drive and considered him a good honest dog of quality. RCC. 2nd Sullivan’s Jacquinta Lets go Andy JW. G/w masculine expression with dark eye & pigment. Broad muzzle, good arch to neck, level topline, nice tail carriage, in good coat and moved well. 3rd Johnson’s Keytor The Jazz Singer. Res Silsbury’s Jadoremy Thunder Bolt Zuse Sh. CM. 

OD 7. 1st Hitt’s Miracey Zero Hour. A top-quality g/w who excels in head. Has good width between the darkest expressive eyes with good nose placement & pigment. Wide open nostrils, broad jaw, soft muzzle, correct dentition and lovely lip and chin. Well arched neck into good shoulders, level topline, broad deep chest of good length & spring of rib. He has the desired bone & substance, moved with reach & drive and covered the ground effortlessly. Was in lovely coat & condition and it was a pleasure to award him the DCC & BOB. 2nd Clifford’s CH Zamadar Magic Potion for Cedarhythe. 8yr old masculine quality b/w. Lovely dark eye and has good pigment. Nicely arched neck into good shoulders with level topline. Is well ribbed, has good bone & substance, is well muscled and moved well in all directions. Another top class exhibit. 3rd Carter & Leigh’s Gladmin Transki Teddy JW.   Res. Maule’s Wilbur Smith JW & Sh CM

VB 3. 1st Hitt’s Miracey CH Fruity Kisses. 8yrs of age, very feminine head & expression, nicely arched neck into good shoulders, level topline with good tail carriage. Has ample bone and moved with ease. Is in tip top condition and very well presented. Awarded BV. 2nd Coupland’s Jimsamroblee Miss Honalulu. Good overall balance and in good coat & condition. Belies her 9 yrs, moved well and is a credit to her owner. 3rd Coupland’s Jimsamroblee Princess Cleo.

MPB 1. 1st Flack’s Mifcah’s a Star is Born. Feminine head with dark eye and good width to jaw. Level topline with good set on of tail and is balanced in outline. Moved well.  

PB 9 (2a) 1st Gregory’s Marpalyn Phab Gold. Nicely balanced in outline and has a very pretty head with super eye shape and lovely soft expression & good pigment. Well arched neck into good shoulders displaying level topline and desired teapot tail. Is well bodied with good muscle. There is nothing exaggerated about this girl and she moved effortlessly around the ring and I think she will have a promising future. BPIB. 2nd Brown’s Rossvale Forever Dreaming. Very feminine head with dark eye. Lovely nose placement with tip tilt giving an oriental expression. In good coat & condition and kept her outline standing and on the move. A Another with a bright future. 3rd Herring’s Matsonic Surprise Guest At Quingshui. Res. Diffey’s Marhliway Strictly Edged.  

JB 8 (1a) 1st Yorke & Keree-Bartolo’s Middletune Eternal Flame. Has a feminine head & expression, well balanced level topline and ample bone & substance for age. Was steady on the move. 2nd Gray’s Ragabbey Cherry Opal. Feminine head with dark eye. Has good overall balance, is well bodied with a level topline. She moved out well. 3rd Yorke & Keree-Bartolo’s Middletune Flame of Gold. Res. Watts’ Matsha That’s Amore at Snugglebrook. 

YB 4. 1st Yorke & Keree-Bartolo’s Middletune Eternal Flame. 2nd Steven’s Peekin Miss Jive Bunny. A very feminine bitch with sweet head & dark expressive eyes. Has well placed shoulders and a level topline with good tail set which makes a balanced outline standing and on the move. 3rd Hey’s Lyndatzu Que Sah Rah. Res. Swift’s Thaisu Jenny Wren.  

NB 5. 1st Yorke & Keree-Bartolo’s Middletune Eternal Flame. 2nd Noblett’s Senobles Midnight in Moscow. Lovely head & expression with darkest of eyes and wide-open nostrils and she has good width to jaw. Deep chest that is well ribbed. She moved around the ring well. 3rd Galliford’s Sassyshi Brimful of Asha. Res’ Francis’ Elzu Ebony and Ivory

PGB 11. 1st Steven’s Peekin Miss Jazz -Ming-Tu. Has a feminine head with a dark eye, good pigment and correct bite. Nicely arched neck into good shoulders with a level topline and nice set on of tail which gave good tail carriage and she moved well. 2nd Hutley’s Zeeva Zafirah. Pleasing head & expression with dark eye. Ample bone & substance. Has a level topline and is in good coat. Was a steady mover. 3rd Dowman’s Chanikos Blissfull Dream. Res. Beer & Tilley’s Miracey Sea of Love For Tilbe JW.  

LB 5 (1a) 1st Farnworth’s Tsantha Adornment. Of excellent type & proportion and presents a lovely picture. Has a feminine head of good width and has a broad jaw with correct bite. Impressive eye shape, size and colour, displaying a lovely soft open expression. Has a deep chest with good length & depth & spring of rib. Displays a level topline with good tail set and is nicely balanced. She moved with ease and is a lovely example of the breed. More than happy to award her the CC today. 2nd Brown’s Rossvale Only in Dreams. Another top-quality bitch with lovely head and dark expressive eyes. Has good depth of chest and a level topline with good tail-set. Is well balanced and true to type. Moved well. 3rd Anderton’s Pekoe Surprise Surprise JW . Res. Hey’s Lyndatzu Charisma. 

OB 6 (1a) 1st Carter & Leighs Gladmin Inala. A nicely balanced bitch with a good outline and a feminine head. Well arched neck into good shoulders and a level topline with good tail set. Is well ribbed, has ample bone & substance. A sound, honest, quality bitch displaying free movement covering the ground really well. RCC. 2nd Shaw’s CH Shorestar Hocus Pocus. Super balance & outline feminine head with dark eye and good nose placement. Strong neck into good shoulders, well ribbed and a level topline with nicely plumed tail. Was well presented in lovely coat and moved well. 3rd Hitts Santosha Cherry Brand At Miracey. Res. Diffey’s Marhilway Edge Related. 

GCB 1. 1st Galliford’s Sassyshi Brimful of Asha. Young lady with lots of attitude and confidence. Has a pretty head, shows off a level topline and has good bone & substance. She moved & showed well.
