1st Hayes Ivan Venator D'ursus Of Elfrindew (HUN IMP) NAF – A very promising 11 months old dog, with excellent head proportions with good planes and large spongy nose. Strong and well laid back shoulders, well off for bone, feet need to tighten, deep chested, short loin, correct topline, thighs long with good bend of stifle. Moved well but just needs to tighten. BD & BP

2nd Lake & Struthers-Lake’s Braccorions Quite The Catch - 8 months old dog who presented a square outline. Once again correct head proportions and planes, good front and rear angles, tight feet, correct topline, needs time to fill his frame and moved soundly once settled. RBD

1st Massie’s Denandmeg Illustrious Miss Aberdon – Well made bitch who presented a pleasing outline, correctly built showing substance without heaviness, she stood fore square, correct parallel lines to skull and muzzle, medium length of neck leading into well set shoulders, deep chested, well rounded ribcage, short loin, correct topline, moderate bend of stifle, moved with a brisk short stride and happily. My notes say best mover on the day. BB & BOB

2nd Clayton’s Lampaul Louis – Once again a typy dog although preferred the head of the first. Deep chested, short loin, moderate bend of stifle, good tight feet, moved soundly once settled as he gave his owner a hard time. RBD

3rd Graham & Denwood’s Bonapartist Orchid Of Lyndfil – Lots to like about this bitch as very typy, but she just would not settle on them move and continually paced even though given plenty of opportunity RBB

1st Lawson’s Wansleydale Dorian Gray JW - Dog who presented a nice outline, Masculine head showing plenty of brain room and kind expression, long neck leading to well laid back shoulders, straight front leading to tight feet, deep chested, well ribbed back, moved soundly with a slashing tail. Happy dog. BD

2nd Taylor’s Bumblecorn Ash Of Tattay - 12 months old medium sized dog who needs time to fill his frame. Has the essentials there. Pleasing head and expression but this needs to develop, long neck leading into well laid back shoulders and corresponding upper arm, chest needs to deepen, short back, well bent stifle, correct tailset, moved soundly. RBD

3rd Paton’s Bournehouse Secret Affair For Meadowfoot

1st Howarth’s Alolfrana Kansas Kate Of Moorbrook JW –Smaller framed bitch but still within standard, correct head shape and proportions, long neck leading to well laid back shoulders, straight front leading to tight feet, deep chested, dep in back ribs, well bent stifle, correct topline and tailset, in good coat, moved gracefully around the ring with a lively tail and was true in all directions. BB & BOB and thrilled that she was shortlisted in the group.

2nd Phillips, Bryant & Watkins’ Sh Ch Wansleydale Star Queen Of Glenmaurangi – Again a lovely bitch and similar remarks apply as to the first. Presented a pleasing outline and in good coat. Beautiful head shape and expression, correct length of neck into well laid back shoulders, would prefer more forechest, ribs well back. Moved effortlessly around the ring RBB

1st Paton’s Bournehouse Secret Affair For Meadowfoot – Pleasing head and expression with moderate low set ears, correct topline, short in back, feet need to tighten. Today she was carrying a bit too much weight over her shoulders. Moved soundly with a lively slashing tail. – BEST SPEC BEG
