I would like to thank the committee for inviting me to judge at their club show, I had a wonderful day, it was a great privilege to judge here, alongside two judges of high esteem, thank you.

Minor Puppy Dog (3/0)

1st Oliver’s, Tambuzi Stryka Blow, B/W classic markings. Good head with correct headplanes, of good proportion. Dark eye, correct ear set, used well. Good reach of neck, level topline, straighter in upper arm than I would prefer. Good depth of chest, enough rear angulation. Moved well

2nd Lee & Ratcliffe, Arrodare an Emotion away. A super pup with a very bright future, preferred for overall balance, shape and angulation front and rear. Beautiful head, good eye and ear, very attentive. Good reach of neck, correct topline and croup. Good depth of chest, well angulated front and rear. A little unsettled today, but when he did settle showed good free movement coming and going. Will go far.

Puppy Dog (2/0)

1st Alcorn & Ritchie, Dalguise Hopes and Dreams

10 month b/w dog. Head of good size and shape, dark eye. Good reach of neck, correct topline and tailset. Well balanced overall. Enough bone, good rear angulation, moved well.

2nd Grant’s, Coussiere Quickstep

Just 6 months, lovely boy, good headshape, dark eye, good ear set. Nice length of neck, good topline and croup. Well angulated front and rear, good depth of chest and spring of rib. When settled moved really well.

Junior Dog (3/0)

1st Green & Ratcliffe , Fayken Truth or Dare with Arrodare, Res Dog CC

Caught my eye straight away. Another excellent dog from this well respected kennel. Beautiful overall shape and balance. Excellent head and expression. Correct eye, good ear placement, used well. Very alert. Excellent reach of neck and topline, good croup. Good bone, correct depth of chest. Well angulated front and rear. Moved well coming and going, with drive. A very close call in the challenge, one to watch going forwards, he has a very exciting future.

2nd Pencoppen Good Timin’

Longer in body than 1, Pleasing head, dark eye. Good topline, good angulation front and rear, well bodied, in good coat, moved out well.

Yearling Dog (5/0)

A very close class here, lots to like in the top 3. Preferred 1 on movement and drive, but 2 on overall body and shape.

1st Murfet & Ratcliffe, Arrodare Royal Approval. Correct head proportions, dark eye and correct earset, used well. Good bone. Good length of neck, firm topline, short loin, well angulated front and rear. Correct depth of chest and good rib, moved out well in ann directions with drive.

2nd Tobermoray Talysman by Britten

Good body and bone. Nice overall shape, good reach of neck, level topline, good croup. Well angulated front and rear, good depth of chest. Another with good head, lighter in eye than 1. Ears set and used well. Just lacked a little drive on the move today.

3rd Rettie & Morley's Chikaramor cast a spell of glenfound

Post Graduate Dog (7/2)

1st Heggie, Thomson & Large, Anscot take a chance on me

B/W dog of correct proportions. Nice angles front and rear, good topline, held well on the move, correct angle to croup. Good reach of neck. Pleasing head, dark eye. Good bone, moved with drive, covering the ground with ease.

2nd Leslie, Starside winter warrior

Good quality dog, nice size and shape. Good head, eye and ear. Good reach of neck, level topline. Well angulated front and rear, good depth of chest, another who moved with drive. Pushed 1 close today.

Heavier dog, good overall body shape, nicely angulated front. Good topline, good head, dark eye. Good topline, good angulation front and rear, heavily coated, moved well.

A strong class here.

1st Ambler, Caleykiz Born to Boogie JW ShCM. Lots to like about this dog and stood out in the class for me. Correct, well balanced head. Good eye and expression. Correct ear set, very attentive to handler. Well laid shoulder, good length of neck. Level topline, good croup. Excellent angulation front and rear, free and easy on the move, a very nice dog.

2nd Lee, Master of illusion JW

Another lovely dog, excellent shape. Pleasing head, eye and ear. Excellent bone. Correct reach of neck, level topline held on the move. Good body shape, well angulated front and rear, when settled excellent on the move.

A very smart dog with lots to like, on top form today. Beautifully presented dog of good size and shape. Lovely head shape, excellent dark eye. Good length of neck, well laid shoulder, level topline, good croup. Good bone. Lovely depth of chest, good rib. Well angulated front and rear, free and easy on the move. In the challenge really turned it on. A tough challenge, but could not deny him the CC today.

2nd Heggie, Janbell one step beyond

Another lovely dog with lots to like. Balanced head, lovely expression, good dark eye, well set ear. Good topline, nice length of neck. Well angulated front and rear. Excellent on the move, great reach and drive, pleasing in all directions on the move.

Lovely honest dog. Pleasing head, dark eye good ear set. Well angulated front and rear, well bodied and muscled. Moves out with drive, very typical movement, could watch him all day.

2nd Heggie, Ir Sh Ch Locheil great expectations

Another lovely dog, good head eye and ear, nice reach of neck. Good topline. Good angles front and rear, nice depth of chest. Good topline. Lovely body and bone. A little unsettled but moved well.

Beautiful overall size and shape. Well balance dog. Excellent head, dark eye, good earset, attentive to handler. Good lay of shoulder, well angulated front and rear. Good depth of chest. Good bone, Level topline. Moved freely, with drive, straight coming and going.

Longer in body than 1, Good head shape, lighter in eye than 1, good earset, used well. Good length of neck. Good depth of chest, good bone. Good angles front and rear, moved with drive, good in front.

Lovely balance and shape to this dog, nice head, pleasing dark eye. Good body and bone. Well angulated front and rear, good depth of chest and rib. Level topline, very true on the move, moved out with drive.

Another well balanced dog, Good head and dark eye. Well angulated front and rear, good topline held on the move, sound and free in all directions, moved well.
