Norwegian Buhunds

Despite it being a very noisy and blustery day, I think the dogs and owners coped remarkably well.

Class 384 SBD/B (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 849 STRONG Mr & Mrs A L Leggatts Dancing Queen at Draccus

A feminine black bitch just over 12 months but not adolescent in any way. Well shaped head with good dark eye and well set ears. Good body and coupling. Not too upset by the noise of the tents and the wind. Moving out in a true and collected fashion. Delighted to see her placed in the Special Beginners Group – well done!

1st: 849 STRONG Mr & Mrs A L Leggatts Dancing Queen at Draccus

Repeat

2nd: 845 CROCKER Miss S Leggatts Voulez Vous

Litter sister to 1 and another black girl. Many of the same remarks apply but this girl is built on slightly larger pattern than 1 with associated bone and substance. Not all all happy with the show conditions but I did go over her and she did eventually get herself together on the move, demonstrating a well timed, sound, gait. Just needs a little more confidence.

Class 387 LD/B (2 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 847 FROST, FROST-TREADWELL, & ALMSLEY Trelowen Amelia At Frostisen

A well presented wheaten with many qualities. Pretty head piece with appeaing expression. Again, not too happy with the wind, but when she moved out demonstrated a well timed and sound gait in all directions. Straight legs and good tail set.

2nd: 846 CROCKER Miss S Knytshall Noor Ul Ain

A slightly bigger frame than 1 and well presented and sympathetically handled. Not as positive in front as 1.

Class 388 OD (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 850 WALMSLEY Mrs J L Blakk Extacy Van Koekie's Ranch (Imp)

Do doubt this was a male; a well grown mature boy built on substantial lines. Well angulated behind and in front and this showed on the move. A little thicker through the coupling meaning he lost some definition of tuck up. RBD

Class 389 OB (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 843 COBB, Mrs J J & Mr M J L & KENT Mrs N C Knytshall Angel Delight RL2ex

I was surprised to see that this 6 y/o girl was not made up. She pleased me in many respects, such a neat girl who excels in static and moving balance; a real little power pack on the move. From her expressive feminine head with dark eye and well set ears, through her sturdy body and strong coupling and finishing in a well set and carried tail, she is quality. Indeed I think she should make a strong group contender. It was not her day today, but with a little more effort, she should get there. BB. BOB

Class 390 VD/B (2 Entries) Abs: 0

Two veterans demonstrating the endurance of the spitz breeds.

1st: 844 COBB, Mrs J J & Mr M J L & KENT Mrs N C Ch Trelowen Veryan To Knytshall RL1

Such a neat, compact bitch who has great breed type and quality. Lovely body and coupling with a tight tail set, she looked not bothered at all by the conditions. A lovely Champion.

2nd: 848 HOOD, Mr N & COLLINS Mr J Ch Arnscroft Di Nah Sawr Us Rex Sh.CM

Another who showed no age, just a little thickening through the waist which spolit the outline a little. Presented in pristine, clean condition, he is a masculine chap. Strong head with a classic wedge shaped head, clean through the flews. Moving out with assurance but not as precise behind as 1 today. A very worthy champion
