Class 1970 JD (2 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 5940 PEACH Mr & Mrs G & M Kilbourne Merak a shapely 13 month old young male who has a graceful top-line and is pleasing in profile outline which I preferred to 2nd. Masculine breed typical in head which is of the shape and proportions I like. True parallel front with enough lay back of shoulder which is in balance with his hindquarters. Powerful in stature with good rise over the loin flowing to nicely let down hindquarters. Pleasing coat and texture. Moved with true extension in front covering the ground well. My Reserve Dog CC winner.

2nd: 5946 TAYLOR Mrs S J Ormanstar Gabriel Norman a 17 month old who has a racy appearance with a more pronounced top-line and fallaway than 1st. Attractive head with well-set ears set onto a good length neck. True well boned front and firm body. Needs to drop into himself which would improve his rear angulation and strengthen his hindquarters. Free moving but tended to be loose in hocks.

Class 1971 PGD (2 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 5925 CARLIN Mrs E Kaleginy Fusilier At Thorsmoor a rising 2 year old having plenty of scope to develop and has the foundation to body-up and continue to mature into a handsome hound. Stands well over the ground. Pleasing typy head with dark eye presenting an attractive expression, neat well set ears, good length of neck, true front, ribbed well back and having pleasing body length and top line. Satisfying to note he has firm muscle condition. He moved well enough when settled.

2nd: 5933 FREEMAN Mrs T M Lilac Wind Ozymandias At Glooscap (Imp)  a shapely junior male who is very promising. Pleasing head and expression good length neck. True front, needing more lay-back, good length body but needing more depth. At a stage where he is a bit exaggerated in top-line and steep in fallaway. Moved well with a true precise front action.

Class 1972 LD (4 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 5941 PEACH Mr & Mrs G & M Tiobraid Solo Venture To Kilbourne a very shapely quality rising 3 year old male who has a well-made powerful appearance; he is has a balanced and well-proportioned appearance and has a very attractive, breed typical head with dark eyes and an assured expression. True, well made in front with a strong “reachy” neck and pleasing layback of shoulder; he is well boned and stands on sound legs and feet. He has depth and is well ribbed back with a broad loin and hindquarters with a pleasing top line. Stands firm portraying a balanced all-in proportion picture. Best mover with a true sound gait.

My Dog CC winner.

2nd: 5927 CUMMINGS Mrs S Killoeter Tam Dubh a sturdy 2¾ year old who has a ‘powerful look’ being well boned and robust in body. Masculine strong head set on a good length strong neck. Solid in body with a moderate, gradual flowing top-line. Well-made front with moderate but stronger hindquarters both of which I preferred to 3rd. Moved better than 3rd especially in rear action.

Class 1973 OD (3 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: 5924 BAUMANN, Mrs S & LUCAS Miss V Packway Loxley Norton an upstanding 3¾ year old breed typical male who has a pleasing profile. Attractive in head, true well boned front which I preferred to 2nd. Ribbed well back so having a long enough body and a flowing top-line. Moved with extension covering the ground better than 2nd.

2nd: 5944 PURSGLOVE Mr K Stranwith Roag a very breed typical looking mature nearly 5 year old male who has a very attractive head and expression. Slightly lighter in frame than 1st but nonetheless is well enough made in front, body and hindquarters, firm gently flowing top-line. Preferred coat texture of 1st. Moved with an easy striding gait.

Class 1976 PB (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 5938 LINDSAY, Ms V A & LINDSAY Mrs M M Albagrey Loch Maree At Silverthyme a nice enough quality 8 month old rangy youngster who has plenty of breed typical features. Pleasing head shape, feminine and of good proportions and having a friendly expression. She at a stage where she has an overall shapely curvy profile and lacking balance and ideal proportion at the moment. Needs more schooling and to settle to give of her best; she moved in typical unsettled puppy style. She has promise.

Class 1978 PGB (7 Entries) Abs: 2

1st: 5937 KILGAR Miss D Ardneish Pacific at Maelstrom a 3 year old dark crisp textured coated bitch of  overall pleasing shape; pleasing head shape with dark eyes and neat ears presenting a kind but alert expression. In notable firm muscle tone; true front with good pasterns. Moderate in angulations front and rear OK in body with pleasing depth and enough spring; would prefer a more rise in top line. Adequate width in hindquarters; best mover with purpose and a nice free easy action.

2nd: 5947 TAYLOR Mrs S J Ormanstar Fast Cat Betty a 2-year-old powerful but elegant looking bitch who stands over the ground in a balanced and well-proportioned manner with nothing in exaggeration. She is attractive in head which is set well on a firm good length neck. True front though more upright, especially in pastern, than I would prefer. Looks the part in outline and profile when standing naturally. Would like her to tighten in elbow and in rear action on the move.

3rd: 5928 FINNETT, Miss S L & HEATHCOTE Miss N Hyndsight How You Remind Me

Class 1979 LB (4 Entries) Abs: 2

1st: 5943 PEACH Mr & Mrs G & M Kilbourne Liberty a mature looking 6 year old who has an attractive overall outline with a breed typical mature look. She pleases in profile balance and body proportions with a desirable top line. Well made in front and forequarters possessing forechest with ideal width all through and firm body mature substance. Pleasing angulations front and rear. Lovely head which I preferred to 2nd. Powerful and the better hindquarters which she used well.  Best mover of this class.

2nd: 5949 WILCE QUINTON , Mrs J & QUINTON Mr R J Kilbourne Marie Claire At Kirjojax a light framed nearly 3 year old who is fine and feminine in head. Pleasing width all through but tended to look long in body; would prefer more angulations front and rear to improve her appearance. Needs to settle in front and to have more width behind on the move.

Class 1980 OB (4 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: 5929 FINNETT, Miss S L & HEATHCOTE Miss N Ch Hyndsight Because The Night a mature nearly 5 year old quality bitch who is of pleasing construction all through. Striking in appearance both standing and on the move. She is shapely with a satisfying coat cover of correct texture. Attractive feminine head with typical expression, good bone and firm body substance, graceful in top-line. She has impressive overall body construction being of ideal shape and length for a bitch of her substance and look. Sound in front and hindquarters. She has just enough spring and depth of chest and is well constructed in forequarters. A worthy representative of the breed to whom I awarded the Bitch CC and Best of Breed.
