Firstly I must thank the officers and committee for the invitation to judge at their lovely show, fantastic hospitality and friendly atmosphere, such a privilege to be asked to judge at such a prestigious show.  Secondly thank you to the exhibitors who entrusted my judgement and allowed me to go over their lovely dogs. Unfortunately with the weather there were a few absentees, but these things happen. Thanks Again to the exhibitors that toiled the conditions.

Irish Red and White Setters. P Dog (1) 1.Sherlock’s Alanea Special One, 11 month old young dog with good plains to head in good proportion, nicely shaped eye good dentition, well set ears, strong tapering neck leading into and through a well set back shoulder, sound level topline, good straight front, neat through couplings to well angulated rear construction, well toned 1st and 2nd thigh, held a good outline on the move, could have gone a tad faster to get the reach. Overall very nice. . BPIB.

J Dog No entries. PG Dog (1,1). O Dog (4,1). 1. Gardner’s Alanea Game Reserve with Danwish, From the first stack this boy’s profile was rock solid, good plains to head with a good shape and colour to the eye, good front construction with plenty of oval bone giving the look of substance and strength, plenty of sprung rib in a lovely deep chest, strong flat topline, good tail set, well constructed at the rear, muscled nicely at 1st and 2nd thighs, neat clean lines on tight feet, this boy also moved the best in the slippy condition with ease and with reach.  BOB. 2. Collins Romaunt Bloomin Grand at Forestpoint. Loves this boy’s head well set and well shaped very much to type, good depth to chest behind well constructed forequarters, sound topline, good angulation to rear, nicely muscled to thighs,  moved nicely, handled well and having been over this boy before as always presented immaculately. RBOB. 3. Martin’s Laoirebay Steel Blue Ocean. P Bitch (1,1). J Bitch No entries. PG Bitch (2,2).
