Many Thanks to the Officers and Crufts Committee for their kind invitation to judge this beautiful breed. Big thank you to my Stewards who kept the ring running smooth .A couple of comments I would like to make I found so many unfit dogs, either crabbing or not driving from behind , we must remember this is a working breed and should be fit for purpose , some beautiful bitches were penalised for this , that being said the European dogs were fit and in hard condition , but afraid some were too big for me. We have come a long way as far as feet are concerned, this was a huge problem a few years ago, and they have improved greatly. I was thrilled with my winners and placed dogs. A Big Thank You to all the Exhibitors for being so sporting over my decisions, and to my Co Judge Chris Atkinson for being in agreement for our B.O.B, BV and BP. Thank you for a truly amazing Day.

1st Warrington’s Bochilbarley Heaven sent to Woodavens [AI] Lovely puppy of 9 months, enjoying her day out. Super head and eye, excellent bone and feet, good reach of neck into well laid back shoulders, good upper arm, excellent topline and lovely hindquarters, she insisted on giving her owner a hard time, and was unsettled on the move, however a very nice puppy in the making.

2nd Walker’s Lizzlog Nun on the Run Another good one from this Kennel, Lovely Puppy of correct size Super bone and cat feet, Good ribcage, excellent hindquarters moved well.

I’m sure her title is not far away, a credit to her breeder, another that pushed hard in the challenge. Loved Her.

Beautiful bitch of correct size, classic moulded head with lovely dark almond shaped eye giving such a soft expression, excellent lay of shoulder, with super upper arm, excellent bone and tight cat feet, elbows tight into well pronounced brisket, lovely spring of rib, leading to short loin, level topline and tailset, excellent powerful hindquarters which she used to her advantage moving she powered round the ring, so well muscled and in hard condition, so beautifully handled, CC, and with my Co Judge had no hesitation in awarding her B.O.B Congratulations .

2nd Ulins SE [U] CH Almanza Back on The Red Carpet SEJV Beautiful Liver Bitch of correct size, beautiful classic head correct eye shape with a melting expression, good reach of neck, super front construction, good bone, excellent spring of rib, driving off strong well muscled hindquarters, excellent movement, well handled.

3rd Gilchrists Gloi Dubh Erin with Ardmour Another lovely girl, beautiful moulded head with almond shaped dark eye, with a cheeky glint in her eyes. Good reach of neck into well laid back shoulders, super upper arm, deep forechest, stood well under herself, excellent bone and feet, strong well muscled hindquarters moved with drive.
