Miniature Pinschers…

Puppy Dog   ( 4,1 abs )

1. Mr & Mrs D Gentle  DIMOGEN DON’T CHA KNOW. Keen showman, more square in body, good topline, sound rear action and overall the best for hackney action. Good length to relatively narrow skull and muzzle. I would prefer a little extra neck length, but  he is still growing towards adult proportions. Best Puppy In Breed

2. Mrs JD Harrison  KAYPIN DUM DUM DIDDLE WITH TRENSON. Very lovely in outline with good hackney front movement. However, the excellent impression created by the head, neck, topline and tailset were all spoilt by rear action on this day.

3. Ms J Davies DANTON DAMNED IF I DON’T

Junior Dog  ( 2. )

1..Mr C J Gullon BARNFALL GOODTIME GARY. Well sprung ribs and good neck, topline and tailset. Pleasing head with strong jaws and excellent teeth and bite. Stands well, but not settled on the move which can be rectified, whereas the front movement presents more of a problem.

2. Miss K Reddington KAYPIN VOULEZ VOUS. Pleasant head with lovely well placed eyes and good length of neck. However this exhibit was less elegant overall because of what appeared to me as a sloping croup which adversely affected tailset and rear movement.

Postgraduate Dog ( 3 .)

1. Mr A Scourfield  & Mr B Kantor  DANTON DO WHAT YOU CAN (Imp.) Square, short-coupled body with good depth and length to chest.and sufficient spring of rib. Also sufficient front angulation and strong hindquarters with good sweep of stifle. Liked the head, slightly arched neck, topline and tailset. Showed and moved very well indeed. Reserve Dog CC

2. Mrs J A Park  RAYJEN CARROT CAKE. Confident showman, moving well when he got in gear and in superb muscle condition, but a bit larger and heavier in bone to achieve perfection.

3. Mrs S Twigg  BAMTYBO DARK LORD AT TEFFYS

Limit Dog  ( 1.)

1. Scourfield  EPIPHANY INSIGNIA AT DANTON. Lovely head with correct teeth and bite, sufficient arch to neck, well made body. Confident in the ring but on the move slightly too narrow behind and a little more lift would improve hackney front action.

Open Dog ( 7.)

1. Mrs  C Parker  CH VARDENAIS LUMOS. Alert, confident and very sound with a beautifully proportioned neck, head and body outline. Not surprised to discover he was a champion. Dog CC.

2. Mr D R & Mrs H A Smith  CH TUBIZE HUDSON JW Lovely outline including head, neck , topline, tailset and hackney action while circling the ring. However going away I preferred the rear action of my winner.

3. Ms D Banton  DARKISS SMOKIN ACES

Puppy Bitch  ( 5 )

1. Park  RAYJEN YUM YUM. Lovely to look at and very sound mover holding an excellent topline. However, up to size.

2. Mrs T Billington  BAMTYBO BONBON AVEC YRIEIX. Very pleasing head with strong jaws and excellent teeth and bite. Well placed erect ears and lovely arch to neck. Smaller in size and showing so well, but unfortunately the topline which impressed so much when standing reversed its slope on the move which suggests forequarter problems.

3. Twigg  MONARKLE FIRE N’ICE AT TEFFYS

Junior Bitch  ( 2 )

1. BAMPTYBO BONBON AVEC YRIEIX        As in previous class

2. Mr D & Mrs C Scott  KELJANTZI’S ZELDA TO MEYNELL.   Fourth place in the previous class.. Confident and compact with an attractive head, but a  bulky body somewhat inhibits any pretensions to elegance. Rear movement is a little untidy

Postgraduate Bitch  ( 2. )

1. Mrs R Mitchell  ALCUM BAD BETTY Also somewhat bulky in body, but a lovely head and sufficient neck coupled with a compact outline and very sound balanced movement  and the best hackney action in this class

2. Mrs P J Salsbury BAMTYBO HOCUS POCUS. Good head and a longer neck, but as often happens this also translates into a longer body. Rear movement was less strong and the desired topline was frequently lost on the move

Limit Bitch (( 5,2 abs. )

1. Ms S James  JAEGERSON ROUGE MATIN. Elegant balanced outline and hackney action. Arch to neck, well sprung ribs without any suggestion of a barrel chest. Showed well and a pleasing head with flat skull, well placed erect ears and strong jaws with correct bite.

2..Miss D Whetter  TUBIZE MACY AT MANDOLAIS. Also showed well standing, but wasted her opportunities on the move and slightly less hackney action in front movement. Good tailset and compact  outline.

3. Whetter  VARDENAIS ALOHOMORA AT MANDOLAIS

Open Bitch( 4 )

1. Mr D & Mrs S Santoriello  & Miss J Skelton  CH TUBIZE MANHATTAN BY PINICIO JW ShCM. Compact outline with graceful arch to the neck and no suggestion of heaviness in bone. Smooth short coat and particularly attractive rich tan markings though pencilling was absent. Moved and showed with style aided by very sound hindquarters. Bitch CC and Best Of Breed.

2. Mr C & Mrs J Griffiths  KELJANTZI XCITING PROSPECT FOR AMIOUS JW ShCM. Very keen showgirl with a pleasing head and lovely, though slightly longer outline. Also very sound rear movement and well placed rich tan markings, again without pencilling. Reserve Bitch CC

3. Miss R Stracey  CH KRIGER’S DARK ‘N’DELICIOUS JW ShCM

Veteran Bitch  ( 1 )

1.  Whetter  KEEHOO BUBBLEGUM  AT MANDOLAIS. Good topline and tailset, compact body and a well proportioned head.
