1)nicely headed male, good wrinkle, well placed eyes, neat ears, moderate neck, straight foreleg with correct pasterns, super body proportions, firm topline with high set tight tail, prefer more shelf and width in stifle, steady mover in profile.

PD

1)nice class, level head planes, neat ears, needs to develop in cheek, moderate wrinkle. Good front, feet, chest and backline, tail a little flat, positive mover 

2)good proportions, preferred skull and ears on 1, elegant neck, nose pigment still to fill in, good front assembly, high set tail, collected on the move, more immature than 1 but lots to like. 

JD

1)leggy dog with good proportions. Still needs to develop in cheek but skull is good, ears correct set and hooded, super crest to neck, lovely front and chest for age. Once settled moved soundly. Tight tail but could he little higher set

2) smaller mould than 1 but shape is there with a clean balanced outline, flat skull, slight wrinkle, prefer better ear placement, collected mover, high set tight tail, good shelf, preferred leg length of winner, lovely skin and condition 

OD

1)2 nice tri males, super shape, lightly built but still masculine. Flat skull, neat ears, prefer darker eye, moderate wrinkle, padded cheeks, comes into his own with his super light effortless movement in profile holding his shape with tight high set tail, good shelf, moderate rear, nice type. CC and BOB

2) good shape and proportions, masculine dog, neat ears, a little plain in head, obliquely set eye. Strong neck, Moderate angles,ok topline, high set tail with moderate shelf, lovely skin, just preffered the brisk light movement on 1

PB

1)typey youngster, good shape, light and feminine all through, exc ears inc placement, dark well set eyes, needs to develop in head but level planes. Super neck with good shoulders. Strong rear, firm topline. Brisk mover and well collected with nice foot placement, really liked her and pushed her brother hard for BP

JB

1)feminine bitch, needs to grow into her ears. Well proportioned head, dark almond well set eyes. Good length of neck. Holds topline well. Very raw all through. Light mover in profile. Just needs to tighten in front. 

LB

1)flat skull, moderate wrinkle, prefer smaller and better ear placement. Well set eyes. Chest well let down, good shelf and rear, a little rounded in topline but weather conditions were not great for basenji today. Steady mover in profile

OB

I thought this was a lovely class to judge with 5 very nice bitches, all have their own merit and virtues, the strongest class of the day to judge.

1)felt this feminine bitch had a very typical detailed head with a lovely expression, neat alert ears, dark oblique eyes, moderate wrinkle, lovely long crested neck with her front under her frame, holds her topline, high set tail, good shelf, exc footfall with a long stride to her, could be a fraction shorter in loin but lots to like on her. CC

2) lovely bitch with exc proportions , short back and good legs, neat ears, slight wrinkle, also could have a little padding on cheeks. Lovely front with good feet and pasterns, Hard topline, good shelf, high set tail lovely type, moved true and light, just preferred reach on winner, close call.
