All dogs were in excellent condition & all had good temperaments. Closeness behind needs to be watched & I was a little concerned to see a few adult dogs so upright in pastern that they were knuckling over in front.

MINOR PUPPY DOG – 2

1st – MOSHANTA MAY CONTAIN NUTS – 7 month old male who excels in balanced breed type. Even at this young age he has a correctly proportioned head with oval eye of medium brown, good length of neck into correct angles both front & rear. Deep, long ribcage & level backline which he held as he moved freely. In profile, his body shape is slightly longer than high. His front legs are parallel & he has correct oval feet. Movement out & back was just the best, sound in front with good reach & not too close behind whist driving & covering ground with no effort & in profile he held his backline & balance. Nothing over or under done – BEST PUPPY DOG & BEST PUPPY IN SHOW

2ND – WINPARA WELCOME TO HOLLYWOOD (Imp) – 8 month old male not quite as far along at this stage of his development. He has a correctly proportioned head, At this stage, he needs to come up in front but he has plenty of growth plate to accomplish this. He has straight front legs, good length of neck, good angles front & rear, just a touch high behind. He moved freely from all angles.

2ND – HARBECCA MACK THE KNIFE – 10 month old male of good breed type & with a correctly proportioned head & dark eye, good length of neck & body shape slightly longer than high. Fractionally narrow in front but good rear angles.

3RD – FAYKEN RETURN OF THE KING

JUNIOR DOG – 1

1ST – STARSIDE JOHN LENON – 13 month male just a fraction longer in body shape. Well proportioned head & dark eye. Good length of neck into good angles front & rear. He moved freely holding his backline when viewed in profile.

YEARLING DOG – 1

1ST – BORDERBROOK SPRING DREAMER AT BAYWERN – 13 month male with a masculine head of good width, dark eye & distinct stop. Medium length of neck into a good front assembly, just a touch straight behind. Moved soundly out & back & covered ground in profile.

1ST – BEESTING LAST FLING AT GINNYLANDS – 3 year old male overall of good breed type. Broad head and well defined stop, ear set could be higher. Well angulated and good reach of neck, good front angles & raising his front feet a touch high & just a touch over angulated behind. He has an abundant coat & moves freely.

1ST – SHELTYSHAM SECRET SPACE FOR SANDMONT – Four year old black and white male, attractive head with a dark oval eye, would like a touch more reach of neck. Good angles front & rear & held his backline on the move just a touch close behind.

2ND – BRAMBLESAZ AQUA FREEDOM – Six year old male when viewed in profile is of good breed type with a correct body shape. Correctly proportioned head with a defined stop & fractionally lighter eye. Medium length of neck into a level backline held in profile. He is a fraction wide out & back but moves freely.

LIMIT DOG – 8

1ST – CALEYKIZ BORN TO BOOGIE JW ShCM – Five year old male with a balanced head with eyes of a good oval shape & size. Good length of neck leading to good angles front & rear elbows close to body & parallel hocks. Ribs well sprung & long deep ribcage. Stood foursquare without over-handling & moved freely with a daisy cutting action with good reach & drive – RESERVE BEST DOG

2ND – ROGANSROCK BEAUTIFUL DREAM JW – A very close call between 1 & 2. Three year old balanced male with well proportioned head, defined stop & a dark oval eye. He has a good length of neck into good angles both front & rear. Moved freely covering ground in profile with a daisy cutting action.

1ST – SH CH ARRODARE IT’S NOW OR NEVER JW - Six year old male of excellent breed type, balanced with good body proportions, attractive head with dark oval eye & good dentition. Good strong neck into good angles both front & rear. Straight front legs of ample bone, strong pasterns & oval feet. Good depth & length of ribcage, level backline held on the move. He was sound viewed from all angles having good reach and drive covering the ground effortlessly with a daisy cutting action – BEST DOG & BEST OPPOSITE SEX IN SHOW. It was interesting to see that both the two beautiful bitches chosen by my co-judge for Best Bitch & Reserve Best Bitch, whom I was more than happy to agree that they go Best In Show & Reserve Best In Show, were both sired by my Best Dog - what a sire!

2ND – SH CH FAYKEN I AM LEGEND JW – Almost nine year old male of good balanced breed type. He has a well proportioned head, defined stop & dark oval eye. Good reach of neck with good angles front & rear. He has straight front legs, strong pasterns & oval feet with deep long ribcage. He held his backline as he moved freely & effortlessly with reach & drive & covering ground.

1ST – FOXBARTON KINGS – Five year old male of good breed type. Fractionally wider in skull with oval shaped eye of toning colour & defined stop. Medium length of neck & good front assembly, just a touch straighter in rear angles. Moved freely covering ground in profile.

2ND - STARSIDE SKYFALL – Six year old male with attractive colouring. Well proportioned head with a dark oval eye & defined stop. Moderate angles front & rear with enough bone. Just a fraction longer in body but moved freely.

SPECIAL OPEN DOG WORKING – 3, 1 abs

1ST – CHIKARAMOR KYNDA SPECIAL – Four year old male with a well proportioned head & dark oval eye. Medium length of neck into moderate angles front & rear. Just a touch toeing out. He has a level backline held on the move & he moved freely.

2ND – GOYTRE FIRST EDITION P-Beg Ex – Five year old male, again, with a well proportioned head, dark oval eye & defined stop. Front assembly not as good as one. Moderate angles front & rear & level backline in stance.

SPECIAL OPEN DOG CONFINED TO MEMBERS – 1

1ST – MULTI INT CH TONKORRY GOLDDIGGER AT HUNTLY – Seven year old male of good breed type. Typical head with a dark oval eye & defined stop. Good length of neck into correct & balanced angles front & rear. Straight front legs & oval feet. Level backline held on the move as he moved freely with reach & drive, just a touch wide coming to.

1ST – SH CH CALYKIZ I’M A FIRESTARTER – Eight year old balanced male of excellent breed type & with a typical head with a dark oval eye & defined stop. Well constructed & having a well proportioned body shape, he moved freely & soundly with reach & drive covering ground with minimal effort - BEST VETERAN DOG & BEST VETERAN IN SHOW

2ND – BRANNASDALE LEADING THE WAY TO SANDMONT (Imp Esp) – Seven & a half year old male with a correctly proportioned head, dark oval eye & defined stop. He is just a fraction longer than ideal & a touch wide in front but he moves freely with reach & drive & holding his backline covering the ground.
