1st: DANKS-KEMISH’s Taggart Shadow Dog Of Alolfrana

Balanced through and presented a clean outline. Good head with enough stop for his age. Dark eyes and typical expression. Straight front with adequate width. Good length to his ribs. Good width over his quarters. He moved well in profile. Should go on to do well. Best Puppy.

2nd: CATTON & COOK’s Daithi Shadow Dog With Ferngate

At 9 months is a little taller and not as together today. Correct head with decent stop which will get better with age. Well boned through with good layback of shoulder. Good tail set which was carried correctly on the move. Will be interesting to watch these two develop.

1st: HUMPHRIES’ Spyefire Secret Agent JW

Strongly made two year old who is balanced through. Masculine in head with good ear placement. Strong clean neck of good length leads to well angulated shoulders. Good width and depth to his chest. Plenty of rear angulation. In good body.

2nd: TITTERTON’s Spyefire Reyt Bobby Dazzler

Another two year old. Balanced in head with correct length of muzzle. Firm level topline with correct set on of tail. He moved well enough once settled. Just not quite the finish of the winner here but time will help complete the package.

1st: MCDONALD’s Roanjora Castelao JW Sh.CM

This four year old really has to be gone over to be appreciated. Correct in head with work around his eyes. Strong in neck with good layback of shoulder. He has well boned with good legs. He has a good length to his ribcage and firm in his couplings giving a correct topline. He excelled on the move in profile.

2nd: TATTERSALL’s Carrick Shadow Dog At Alanea

Different type and giving a lot away in age here. Only 19 months. Well constructed forequarters with well laid shoulders. He is well ribbed and too is firm in topline. He has well angulated quarters and hocks are nicely let down. Presented in lovely coat and condition. I just preferred the head and front movement of the winner today.

1st: CUDDY’s Sh Ch Taxus Golden Prince In Balbriggan JW

Mature and well-balanced male. Certainly, improved since I last judged him. Balanced and masculine in head with good eyes and correct ear placement giving correct expression. He has a strong clean neck of good length which leads to well laid shoulders. Balanced in body correct depth of chest and length of ribs. Firm over his loins. He has good rear angulation with hocks let down well. He moved well both ways and looked the part today. Pleased to award him CC and Best of Breed. Shortlisted in a strong group.

2nd: GARDNER’s Sh Ch Alanea Game Reserve With Danwish

Another good one that I have had the pleasure of judging before. Good head with correct length of foreface and defined stop. Clean neck of good length. Good width to hid =s chest and depth to his body. He is strong over his quarters with good width and well-turned stifles. He has a good tail set and was presented in hard condition. Reserve CC. .

1st: COLLINS’ Romaunt Bloomin Grand At Forestpoint

At 4 is mature and well developed through. He has a good length of head but lacked the depth of stop of some. Well developed ribs with good width. He is firm over the loins and gives an impression of strength. In good coat. He was not as fluent on the move as the top winners but looked well and deserved his first.

Two seven-month-old sisters here. The winner was a bit more forward on the day but there is plenty to like about both.

1st: TATTERSALL’s Alanea Silhouette

Pleasing in head with kind expression and good length. Clean in neck with well angulated shoulders. She has good width to her body for her age. Her quarters have plenty of width and a good turn of stifle. Should go on to do well. When it came to Best Puppy, just preferred the overall balance and finish of the male on the day.

2nd: HODGETTS’ Alanea Obsession Of Hodgehall

Similar in head to her sister and has a good reach of neck. Good length of rib and correct tail set. She showed a happy disposition. Just needs a bit more time and to fill out in body.

1st:  SAYER’s Spyefire Yorkshire Lass

What a good honest type. Not flashy but correct in so many ways and well put together. Well balanced head with a kind eye and well-placed ears giving a lovely expression. Clean neck of good length leads to well laid shoulders.  Good chest with width and depth to her ribs. Firm and short in couplings. Strong over her quarters with good width to her thigh. She has a good bend of stifle. Moved to advantage, excelled in profile. A pleasure to award her the RCC. Her first.

2nd: CALLAGHAN’s Laoirebay Penny Lane

Another pleasing type with plenty to like here. Good head with lovely eyes and correct ears. Straight front showing good width and plenty of bone to her legs. Well angulated quarters. Hocks are nicely let down. In good body and condition. Just lacked the precision on the move of the winner today but should go on to do well.

3rd: WARD’s Cornadore Bia Becomes Copperwhite

1st: BARNEY’s Romaunt Ain't Life Grand

Had to work hard to win this tricky class. Balanced in outline with good neck and well laid shoulders. She has good width and depth to her body giving plenty of heart room. She is firm and well-muscled over her loins. Wide over her quarters with a well-defined second thigh. Once settled into her stride she moved true both ways.

2nd: WADE’s Oldestone Charlie's Angel

Another good one. Clean in outline. Balanced in head with good reach of neck. Well boned but still retains her femininity. Barrelled ribs and short coupled with good rear angulation.  Firm in topline. Looked well.

3rd: MCDONALD’s Roanjora Montepulciano

Mature and looking the part today. Balanced head of good proportions with typical soft expression. Straight well boned front legs. Well developed chest with plenty of width and enough depth. Balanced in body with good length to her ribs and short well-developed loins. Well turned stifles, hocks well let down. She was in good coat and condition and presented to advantage without being overdone. A pleasure to award her the CC.

2nd: HART’s Sh Ch Gilliegrae Swift N'chic

Different type but plenty of quality. Pleasing feminine head with good reach of neck. Good depth through. Strong over her quarters with good width to her thigh. In good order through a worthy Champion.

VB (2 Entries) Abs: 0

Both fit and well, a credit to their owners and breeders.

1st: WARD’s Sh Ch Ballakinnish Mischief Making Copperwhite JW

Belying her 8 years. Balanced in head with good neck and shoulders. Well developed chest with width and depth. Strong quarters with super muscular condition and plenty of rear angulation. Hocks are well let down. She was carrying plenty of coat and looked well today.

2nd: MCDONALD’s Ir Sh Ch Dutch Sh Ch Roanjora Tsarine Tzarina

At 7 is full of vigour and life, obviously loving her time in the spotlight. Strong in neck with well laid shoulders and firm in topline. She moved well and was close to the winner. I just preferred the feet on the other one.
