1st: THOMPSON Miss A J Trandella Love The Look Sh.CM

This black is of a good size, nice head and eye, good mouth, straight front but could have a touch more neck to advantage. Good body, tailset ok but carriage spoils the picture as he carries it tight. On the move he was strong behind but a touch restricted in front. Coat of good texture, he gave a good outline in profile.

2nd: EVANS Mrs A Montelle Look of Love

This black is also very typy and was close up to the winner, quality head and eye, good bone, would prefer better feet, nice body and rib, good tailset and carriage, carried a big coat of good texture. On the move he was ok going but today a touch unsettled coming towards, very much a poodle in profile.

This 2 yrs apricot carried a good body, head ok, good mouth, could have a touch more neck for me, good legs would prefer tighter feet. Decent rib, coat texture good. On the move was a touch restricted coming and going, carried himself well in profile.

Class 2301 OD (3 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: RAWLEY, Mrs Y & SUMMERS Miss A Toydom Tobias

2yrs black of good breed type, very appealing for size and shape, true front, good mouth, good neck and shoulder, good body, coat of good texture which was well presented however I would prefer less topknot as I this makes him look a touch exaggerated which he is not. He was very good out and back and carried himself with purpose and style. Pleased to award him the CC and Best of Breed. Pleased to see him go on to Group 2. Well done.

2nd: BRYANT, Miss L & NELSON Mrs L Nasailleen Intuition

Another nice dog marginally larger than the first but not a big one, big bodied and a good rib, correct coat texture and again well presented and handled to get the very best from him. Good bone, typical outline, he too was accurate out and back and looked very well in profile. Reserve CC, well done.

11 months black , good to go over, good legs and feet, nice head of decent length, true front, carried a firm body. Coat of good texture and well presented. Moved true out and back and held outline in profile. Put up a good performance but the dog puppy had a touch more style on the move which tipped the scales to him for Best Puppy.

2nd: OLDFIELD Mrs S Langstrath Living The Dream

This girl is a lovely size and has many of the qualities of the first, balanced head, good mouth, clean over the neck and shoulder. Carried a coat of good texture, good legs, nice outline in profile. She was happy on the move displaying a decent length of stride in profle. She was edged into 2nd place as the winner is just a touch more mature.

A black I have judged before and she still appeals for her quality and style. She has a clean head of good length, dark eye and well placed ears, lovely over the neck and shoulder , firm in body and a beautiful tail set. Well angulated quarters and moved true both ways Won the CC and made great competition for Best of Breed.
