Dark slate, masculine, with correct conformation and in the right proportion. Impressive to view when both standing and moving. Expression, head carriage and reach of neck enhancing his appearance. A quality best puppy.

2ND CLANMAC BRAW BROON (MR J L MACDOUGALL)

A brown who is well balanced and exhibits good overall proportions. Good angulation at the front and back ensures good movement. Although slightly older, he is not quite as mature as the winner, but they all grow at different rates and it will be interesting to see the two together as they get older.

The dynamic balance (i.e. impression on movement) was impressive. He has good overall proportions, good expression and will soon be of maturity to step up a class.

A young brown dog with an effervescent character, which I am sure the handler will master in time. Good front head and expression.

A very masculine dark slate, top quality dog with everything to the breed standard. He moves steadily and without effort and I can predict he will be very competitive.

A very nice blue dog with good static balance, including lovely head carriage and expression. Everything in proportion, which means he moves well. Just preferred the overall maturity on the winner.

There is practically nothing I could find that could be improved on this top quality, correctly sized and impressive dog who moves to the standard. No hesitation in awarding him the CC.

A top-quality dark slate who is also very competitive and will no doubt find his day. Everything in proportion and moves well. Slightly taller than winner which contributed to the placings.

Another dog, this time slate, in great condition for his age. Good beardie characteristics; especially head and expression. Just lost out to the winner on movement, probably due to age.

The winner of a typically young ladies’ “bouncy” session. A very young dark slate, who has matching angles front and back. Good shape, head and carriage. I saw enough of her movement to award her the class.

Not far behind the winner which was decided on movement. She is nicely proportioned and shows potential. I am sure with time she will settle and exhibit herself well.

A slightly longer and heavier slate bitch than the winner, but none the less of nice quality. Enjoyed watching her move since she showed well.
