Breed: German Wirehaired Pointer

PGD/B

1 Germanus China Doll. Enthusiastic young b who had a lot of verve and impulsion on the move. Head is coming along nicely, well furnished and with balance. She is neatly constructed throughout, well ribbed up and stands holding her topline firmly. With time and maturity, I’m sure she will settle to the job nicely.

Grand class, three quality animals each of whom possessed excellent breed attributes. 1 Sh Ch/Deutscher Ch (Vdh) Kimmax Kurious George. This d continues to impress; stylish and typical combined with immaculate condition and great showmanship. Grand head of balance with a keen expression. Reachy neck sits cleanly into well laid shoulders, and he is well off for upper arm. Ribbed back, he’s strong and short in loin and has a well set on tail. Balanced in hind angles with well let down hocks, he has superb development of first and second thigh. Goes around the ring with power and ground coverage, and went up a gear to put on a great performance in the group where he was shortlisted. BD & BoB. 2 Normbar Time Honoured AI. Really smart b, still at the younger end of the spectrum really so has plenty of time, but presents a clean and typical outline already. Balanced in skull proportions, she is conformationally balanced and sound throughout. Holds a level topline at all times and has a well set on tail. Fore and hind angles come together usefully on the move and produce an economic gait with accurate footfall – one destined for the top here. BB & BoS. 3 Sh Ch Arielle Vom Glinzegrund Mit Helydon (Imp Deu) I feel I have to give mention to this lovely veteran b who also appealed for type, balance and overall soundness. A great example to represent the breed in the Veteran Group, BV.

1 Germanus Gotta Catchem With Rudishaw. This newbie was fresh out the box and well up for it, with bags of enthusiasm for the job and a really endearing temperament which her handler did a great job of using to her advantage. She’s shaping up nicely, just needs time to come together and fill in, and was presented in good coat and condition already. Keep going! BSpB.
