Show Report Havanese

I very much enjoyed judging this delightful breed once again. My main winners were outstanding examples of the breed representing correct type with excellent overall proportions and lovely temperaments. Some of the lower classes left me a little worried as type was very mixed and in some cases sadly conspicious by its absence!

Class 829 PD (5 Entries) Abs: 1 1st: 3309 TARFF Mr & Mrs J & S Immelion Artimis, attractive red & white baby puppy who arrived into the ring hurriedly but quickly gained confidence and won! Excellent overall make and shape, sound front, good rear, still very immature in body, typical head for age, good coat, moved briskly 2nd: 3280 HARRIS Mrs R A Tiggafield Jack Flash, larger than the winner and decidely masculine, very good head, ok front, good body, excellent coat in good order, enthusiastic mover but rather close behind at this stage 3rd: 3273 GROCOCK Mr P Havalag Karaginski

  Class 830 JD (4 Entries) Abs: 0 1st: 3289 MCCALLUM-SEALY Miss H Pandaprint Believe In Magic JW, top class masculine dog presented in good order, perfect breed type with very good overall proportions, lovely head, correct eyes and expression, good mouth, solid, well-made body, really qood quarters, great showman who made a big impression and won the dog CC 2nd: 3268 CLEMENTS, Mrs S & SUMMERSGILL Mr P Prince Timmy from Bohemica Land TAF, very good body properties, excellent front masculine head but rather too deep in stop and I would have liked him with a little more angulation fore and aft, excellent coat, sound mover 3rd: 3264 BROOKS Mrs C Pandaprint Be Mine Toytales

Class 831 PGD (5 Entries) Abs: 0 1st: 3294 MOORE Miss S Dianaia's Perfect Day, this is a very correct dog who handles really well, sound conformation, beautiful head and expression, good eyes and mouth, shown in light condition here today and will look even better when his body has matured and dropped a little, fluid mover 2nd: 3285 LEMIN Mrs L & Mr G Tynebears Favorite Son, masculine with more body and substansce than the winner, rather narrow in skull and dentition is not perfect, good front and rear, excellent type, good coat ,moved well, happy temperament 3rd: 3313 YOUNG Mrs J & Mr R Newpark Pretty Boy Floyd

Class 833 OD (10 Entries) Abs: 3 1st: 3275 HARPER-DEDIU Mrs J Skystar's Sonny, an outstanding example of the breed combining most of the breed characteristics in a positive form, perfect type & size, lovely head, correct body and topline, good coat, tail & rear, presented in beautiful bloom, never gave up trying & showing to best advantage. CC & BOB – delighted to hear that this also made him a very worthy champion. 2nd: 3287 LOVELESS Mrs K Am Arbens Epic Swag Of Los Perritos, very smart attractive black & white dog who appealed greatly for balance and soundness of movement, good head, ok front, excellent hindquarters, good tail, needs more body & substance and coat not at its very best. Movement of the highest order. 3rd: 3266 CARTY, Mr & Mrs B & O & CARTY Ms O Ir Ch Int Ch Xtreme Funny Xamaro Pedoro An Ch 16

Class 834 VD (2 Entries) Abs: 0 1st: 3295 MOORE Miss S Newtonwood Two Ta Tango Sh.CM ,lovely veteran dog in great form striding out really well on the move, excellent front, good body and hindquarters, head could be more mascuine, ok coat although a little sparsely clothed here today, full marks to his owner for keeping him in such grand form. Best Veteran

Class 835 PB (10 Entries) Abs: 1 1st: 3291 MILES Mrs L Adorele Black Magic, black & white type who stood away from the others in this very mixed class, excellent breed proportions, really lovely head, perfect front and body for age, in good coat, showed freely and enthusiastically, liked her a lot, just unlucky to meet a more mature puppy in the challenge 2nd: 3270 DOWTY, Ms V & CONNOLLY Mrs J Los Perritos Lisabet Taylor Of Clynymona , well-presented feminine puppy with good head, lovely eyes and expression, sound front, stands al ittle tall & she is rather square in outline at this stage, coat texture needs to improve, happy outgoing show-girl 3rd: 3278 THACKERY Mrs M A Tiggafield All That Jazz

Class 836 JB (6 Entries) Abs: 1 1st: 3267 CARTY-PARGE, Mrs O & PARGE Mr D Flordecuba Amarillo Star, all quality youngster whom I liked a lot, lovely head, good body, topline, front & rear, full coat in grand order, moved really well and won Best Puppy – one for the future! 2nd: 3312 THORNE Mrs S L Dyffrynsands Tilly Tinker, sturdy strong bitch with excellent body, good front, ok hindquarters, coat not in optimal condition and she needs more head furnishings to look more balanced, good mover 3rd: 3274 GROCOCK Mr P Havalag Eziyra Class

837 PGB (3 Entries) Abs: 0 1st: 3286 LEMIN Mrs L & Mr G Monsaraz Rosalyn De Cuba, well-constructed feminine bitch, very good body and coat, feminine head, free easy mover. Her overall proportions could be a little better but nonetheless a bitch with many good points 2nd: 3283 KRZYSZKOWSKI Mrs B L & Mr S J Enchantress Of Power With Corrandulla, larger bitch who needs more freedom of movement, excellent head and expression, good body, not so positive behind also demonstrated on the move. 3rd: 3299 MORRIS Mr W & Mrs G Dyffrynsands Lady Cecilia Rothermere

  Class 838 LB (4 Entries) Abs: 1 1st: 3292 MILES Mrs L Adorele A Perfect World, top quality bitch of perfect tyoe & size, very soundly constructed excelling in front & hindquarters, lovely head with outstanding pigmentation, good coat, moved well. Res CC – a close decision! 2nd: 3304 SMITH Miss K L Larwinsca Princess Leia, many of the same comments as above apply, but she is a little larger overall and topline is not quite so positive on the move, excellent overall conformation, lovely head, very good coat & temperament. 3rd: 3276 HARPER-DEDIU Mrs J Perfect Harmonie Of Velvet Dreams

Class 839 OB (6 Entries) Abs: 2 1st: 3261 AKKAD, Dr A & CARTY Mrs O Ir Ch Reine O'castamere By Labayamesa Ir J Ch, beautifully presented bitch who never put a foot wrong in the ring, beautifully constructed throughout, good front, body and rear, pleasing head and expression, rocksteady mover holding her topline well on the move. Delighted to award her the bitch CC which I believe also made her a very worthy champion. Expertly handled. 2nd: 3305 SMITH Mrs S Tiggafield Isn't She Lovely, lovely type but smaller & a little finer than the winner here, handles very well on te table, excellent head and exporession, good front & body, tends to flag her tail a little when moving but nevertheless a sound mover and a very good bitch overall. 3rd: 3281 HARRIS Mrs R A Tiggafield Double Delight at Mantafield
