It was an absolute pleasure to judge this lovely breed. The winners represented the breed with correct type and overall balance and proportions.

Class 355 JD (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 789 JUDGE Mrs B A Plushcourt Hooligan – correct proportions with balanced angulation and firm topline. Very appealing wedge-shaped head, expressive eyes and correct ears. Well presented. Movement not as clean as expected.

Class 356 PGD (4 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: 793 SAMPSON, Mr S & Mrs A & BROOKS Mrs M Morialta Ferreira – Impressive dog, well handled and in lovely condition. Expressive head, fine and lean, with excellent pigment and correct ears. Sturdy, well developed ribcage, balanced angulation and correct proportions. Could be a little tighter in movement, but overall displayed a typical light-footed gait. Best Dog, BEST OF BREED.

2nd: 790 JUDGE Mrs B A Plushcourt Teddy Bear – More compact style than #1, and stronger in head. Well sprung ribs, although not particularly strong in bone. Straighter legs and stronger feet may have given more direct movement.

3rd: 778 CURTIS Mrs D Stormwitch Gingerbread.

Class 357 OD (4 Entries) Abs: 2

1st: 791 PEDDER, Mrs A & WATTS Miss N Houla's American Boy (Imp) – Mature, sturdy dog with correct balance and proportions. Firm topline, well ribbed and correct underline. Skull a little strong for the strength of muzzle, dark eyes and black pigment enhanced his expression. Would prefer straighter front legs. Res Best Dog.

2nd: 794 SEGUI Mrs E A Arranbourne Faustino – Well muscled dog in excellent condition. Strong bone, moderate forequarter angulation and level topline. Mobile ears, blunt muzzle and correct nose in profile. Front legs could be straighter. A little erratic in movement.
