I thoroughly enjoyed judging this breed again. Type was a little varied and some exhibits were a little lacking in substance and bone. Some of the rear movement was also a little closer than I would like. I was extremely pleased with my top winners and had no idea until I filled out the cards afterwards that they were all bred by the same kennel.

Good overall balance. Correct head shape. Well laid shoulder and return of upper arm. Well sprung ribcage. Correctly made hindquarters with well bent stifles. Excellent bone ad feet. Moved well. BP

2nd: POWLEY Mrs C Lorevy Italian Dandy At Danehaven (Imp Rus).

Lost out on big age difference. Pleasing head and expression. Would like a little more layback of shoulder. Good ribcage. Well made hindquarters. Moved steadily

Good overall balance. Correct head and expression. A little stuffy in neck. Good length of rib. Well made hindquarters. Not quite the positive movement of the winner

1st: NEWSON, Ms D & NEWSON Miss T Tivalake Let's Misbehave JW. Very smart youngster. Excellent overall balance. Good head shape - True wedge when viewed from above. Clean neck. Good lay of shoulder and corresponding return of upper arm. Deep chest. Well ribbed back leading to short loin and well made hindquarters. Good bone and feet. Moved well both fore and aft and showed good length of stride when viewed in profile. RCC

2nd: BARKER Mrs P Eusanit Silver Dream Machine. Another quality dog. Excellent head and expression. Well laid shoulder. Not quite upper arm of winner. Good rib and loin. Well made hindquarters. Moved freely

1st: PARR Mrs S Kymin Upshi Kreek Good overall balance. Correct head shape with moderate stop. Little upright in shoulder. Deep chest. Well ribbed back. Short loin. Well made hindquarters. Moved a little close behind but good in profile.

1st: ADSHEAD Ms A M & Miss A L Afonbach Winter Is Coming JW. Good overall balance presenting a good outline. True head with moderate stop and good ear set. Well laid shoulder and return of upper arm. Correct rib and loin. Well made hindquarters. Moved well fore and aft and with good length of stride in profile: 2nd:STEER Mr & Mrs N W Danehaven Roscoe. Not quite the outline of winner. Pleasing head and expression. Would prefer more layback of shoulder. Well ribbed back. Good hindquarters but not quite the width in second thigh of winner. Slightly close moving away

3rd: READER Miss C Eusanit High Flyer at Chillbrav

1st: BURCHELL, Mrs Y S & Mr N C & SCOTT Mrs M Tivalake Make 'em Laugh JW. Not judged him before but I loved him. Ex overall balance. True head shape with clean cut skull, flat cheeks and moderate stop. Good layback of shoulder and corresponding return of upper arm. Deep chest with elbows close to brisket and well ribbed back. Short loin. Powerful, well muscled hindquarters. Excellent bone and feet. Movement was accurate both fore and aft. In profile he showed an excellent side gait really driving from the rear. Despite three different handlers throughout the day he was totally unfazed. CC and BOB.

2nd: MORGAN Ms C A Erikachen O' Ruadh For Deltandamba JW Sh.CM Another quality dog. Good head and expression. Carrying a little weight over the shoulder today which detracted from his outline. Good spring of ribcage leading to short loin. Well made hindquarters. Good bone and feet. Excellent coat and condition. Moved well with drive.

1st: STREVENS Miss H Sh Ch Erikachen Conaire At Tollisty JW Sh.CM 

Top quality dog who is a very worthy title holder. Good head with clean cheeks and moderate stop. Correct length of neck. Well laid shoulder and return of upper arm. Deep chest. Well ribbed back leading to short loin and well made hindquarters. In excellent coat and condition. Moved well at one with his handler. In the challenge he just seemed to lack his earlier enthusiasm and didn’t move with the same drive and sadly had to pay the price.

2nd: TITOVETS, Mrs Y & EREMIN Mr S Croat Ch Macdreams Trent From Cashel Vale (Imp NLD) Another quality dog. Excellent overall balance. Clean head. I would prefer a fractionally darker eye. Well laid shoulder and return of upper arm. Well ribbed with short loin. Very well muscled hindquarters. Good bone and feet. A shade darker in coat but still within the standard. Moved well on a good stride.

1st: FIELDER Mr P G & Mrs J Playing The Fielder At Cretshengan. Good overall balance. Pleasing head. Carrying little weight over shoulder. Good ribcage and hindquarters. Strong hocks. Moved well - just a little close going away

2nd: PALFREY Mrs L A & Mr T Foxdown Bertie Allsorts Sh.CM Larger in type. Clean head with soft expression. Again rather loaded on the shoulder. Good ribcage. Well made hindquarters. Not the drive of winner on the move

1st: BURGESS, Miss S E & BURGESS Mr & Mrs J E Melanitta Sinamay. Well balanced. Pleasing head and expression. Well laid shoulder and return of upper arm. Good depth of chest for her age. Well ribbed back. Correct hindquarters with good bone and feet. Moved steadily on a good stride.

2nd: MOULT, Mrs S A & SAVORY Mrs S J Croftwell Tickety Boo. Well balanced all through. Good head with moderate stop. Deep chest. At the moment she is dropping her topline slightly. Well ribbed back to short loin and well made hindquarters. Excellent bone and feet. Moved well.

Excellent bone and feet. In excellent coat and condition. Moved well both fore and aft and when viewed in profile. CC.

2nd: ADSHEAD Ms A M & Miss A L Danehaven Vermilion For Afonbach. Another quality bitch. Good head and expression. Correct forehand construction. Carrying a little weight over the shoulder today. Good spring of rib and short loin. Strong hindquarters. Not quite the rear movement of winner.

3rd: CARNOVALE Mrs K Kymin Orange Blossom of Rhee
