My sincere thanks to the officers and committee for inviting me to judge at this well run and pleasant show, and to all the exhibitors for their entries and sporting acceptance of my decisions.

1st Waller’s Isfryn Lady Godiva at Fireglow

Feminine young lady of 16-month-old who is really maturing well. Balanced with good bone and substance. Pretty head of good proportions and nice chiselling. Best of neck and shoulders, deep well sprung ribs of good length, strong body, and correct topline. Correctly angulated well-muscled quarters with well let down hocks. On the move it all came together where she drove around the ring, covering the ground with ease. Well presented and handled to advantage she continuously showed her socks off to win BOB over the lovely open winner.

2nd Richards’ Glenbrows Hearts Wish

Of a different type to 1 this is another nice bitch with lots to like. So typical of her breeding and at only 23 months of age I would like to see her when she is fully mature. Beautiful head and expression with plenty of work. Long, muscular neck leading into well placed shoulders and corresponding return of upper arm. Good ribs, firm topline, and nicely angulated quarters. Moved well, driving from firm hocks. Needs to mature through the body.

This young man has certainly matured since I last judged him. He is all spaniel and evidently a male, however free from coarseness. Good head and cheeky expression. Strong, muscular neck of good length. Good lay of shoulder and return of upper arm. Big, deep ribs reaching well back. Strong firm topline. Strong well-muscled hindquarters, well let down hocks. Moved out well in profile but not so accurate as 1 going away.

1st Morgan’s Garbeth Midsummer Mayhem at Quensha

Beautiful bitch of 8 years who certainly made her handler work hard as she clearly did not want to cooperate! However, on the occasions when she decided to stop fighting her handler and stand foursquare she presented an elegant, balanced outline. Feminine head of correct proportions and definition. Strong long neck, excellent angulation fore and aft. Well boned legs and the best of feet. Deep strong body with good spring of ribs and firm loin. Moved with purpose driving from her well-muscled quarters and correctly placed hocks. Liked her a lot but had to give way to the younger bitch today. RBOB.

2nd White’s Fiergen Steamy Windows

Bitch of nice type out of a larger mould to 1, presented in hard condition she looked like she could work all day. Feminine head with good chiselling. Muscular neck of good length. Balanced angulation fore and aft. Good bone and legs. Big deep ribs, good body. Moved well presenting a nice outline.
