Border Counties Gundog Club I would like to express my sincere thanks to the committee for the kind invitation to judge and the exhibits for entering under me and what a glorious day it was to show. Cocker Spaniels
Puppy 4,1Abs 1st Wild, Mrs V, Glentree Mercedes. A very feminine black bitch with a lot to like correct shoulders, good front nice spring of rib, level topline merry on the move in good coat and condition happy to award 1st place and delighted to see go BPIS3 2nd Smith, Mr B, Bitcon Blue Satin, A very raw blue bitch but has a pleasing head and is a good mover would prefer more spring of rib.

Yearling 1 1st Thompson, Mrs R Colenda Cracking Idea. A sweet bitch who is still very raw but a merry mover with a pleasing head and correct hocks and well sprung ribs, would prefer a little more coat.
Graduate 1,1Abs Limit 2 1st Tait, Mr H Amaroanne Glory Days. A very masculine dog in good coat a correct head well let down hocks. Correct shoulder and good level topline and was handled well. 2nd Thompson, Mrs R Colenda Chasing Shadows. Very close to first a little wider in front on the move and unfortunately not in the best coat today.
Open 4,2Abs 1st Lowery, Mr & Mrs R & Y Bartonholm Blended Blues JW SHCM. Wow what a dog this is. It is one I have admired from afar for a while but I never realised its true qualities till my hands went over it. There is so much to love about this blue roan dog a fantastic head is the first thing you spot then a good outline with correct sloping shoulders, correct spring of rib, well let down hocks, very well-muscled. Presented in superb condition. Very merry on the move. Delighted to award him BOB. 2nd Thompson, Mrs R Colenda Chooseday, A sweet bitch unlucky to come against 1st a sweet head and also she has a good front. In good coat and merry on the move.
