Junior & Adult Handling

Class A 6-11 Years (6,2) – 1 Emily Moores handling a Shetland Sheepdog. A calm and quiet handler who gently encouraged her dog when necessary. Good straight lines and excellent presentation of teeth. Well done.

2 Phoebe Toublic another competent handler, needs to work on presentation of teeth.

Class B 12-16 Years (9,4) – 1 Lauren Goddard handling a Border Terrier. Good rapport with her young dog. A tidy handler who is constantly aware of what is going on in the ring. Neat lines and correct pattern work. Best overall handler.

2 Abby Webb, unlucky to come up against 1. Many of the same qualities. Lauren just had the edge on the day.

Class C 17-25 Years (2,0) – 1 Emily Bennet handling an English Setter. Stacked her dog well, Emily was aware of what I was doing at all times and repositioned the rear leg neatly when it was moved. Could be tidier when transitioning from standing to moving.

2 Auriane Favre-Whitmore, good rapport with her dog, quick and clean to stack and present. Needs work with her patterns and watching the judge.

Class D 26+ (6,2) – 1 Elly Bass handling a Whippet. A neat handler with lovely turns, presents the dog well at all times. Could work on talking to her dog.

2 Jackie Weyman, A close call between 1 and 2. Another handler who presents the dog well at all times. Jackie was constantly talking and encouraging her dog whilst moving. Just lost out on first place today as I felt turns could’ve been neater.
