My sincere thanks to the committee for my appointment to judge at this well ran show & to my able stewards for their assistance. Special thanks must go to the exhibitors providing a wonderful entry full of quality dogs and for accepting my decisions so sportingly. Judging the dogs on the day I felt the floor surface was handled better by some than others and this affected some of my overall placements.

Puppy (2) (0)

1st Hunter’s - Bridgestone Knokin It Stiff

Good sized, well boned & well balanced boy of 10 months. He has a lovely head developing with a nice clean eye and small ears. Correct bite and deep muzzle. Straight front with correct length of upper arm tight elbows and big rounded feet. Good depth of chest, well ribbed extending back. Good rear angulation & short hocks used well on the move once settled. Good presentation & handling. BP

2nd Vile’s – Angelnewf Daddy’s Girl

Just 7 months & this young lady was at her second show. Still a little narrow all through but this should improve with maturity. Overall she has a nice head and good bite, good angulations front and rear keeping a level topline on the move. Not as positive coming and going around as my dog winner. Well presented.

Junior (1)(0)

1st Farrar’s – Disoranto Juliana Blue at Darkpeak

My surprise of the day. At just 12 months this lovely young lady presents such elegant & majestic profile that demands your attention. Hands on everything is balanced & correct from her feminine head, correct bite and acceptable eye shape, to her lovely height to length ratio excellent reach of neck good length of upper arm and tight fitting elbows. Plenty of lung room already with a rib extending well back into a short loin. Super rear angulation completed the picture. She moved with grace & power holding a great shape and topline, her extension just got better and better as she gained more confidence with the floor surface. Finished off in super coat & condition and perfectly handled. I loved her and really hope she fulfills her early promise. BOB & WG3

Post Graduate (3)(1)

1st Pallett’s - Blessed Heart Tender Ebony For Sheenmarie (Imp Rom) JW

So much to like about this super 19 month young lady. Another with such an attractive well-balanced and perfectly angulated frame, while not quite my head type there was nothing wrong good depth, a lovely dark eye and good bite. Great width & depth all through, well boned with a good length of upper arm, deep chest & good ribbing extending well back. Perfect croup leading into an acceptable tail set. Moved very well with a straight front coming and clean heels going away, in good coat & condition, very well presented and well handled. RBOB

2nd Burton’s - Vodahond Against All Odds

Lots to like about this big well balanced young boy. He is just under 2 yrs and still maturing into his large balanced frame. I felt he was a little out of coat today. Good bite, deep muzzle and a nice well shaped eye. Plenty of width all through with excellent front & rear angulations. Moved true and straight coming towards & going away keeping a level topline. Presented and handled well.

2nd Pallett’s - Sandbears Hawiian Hot Stuff to Sheenmarie

A lovely feminine bitch of great quality all through 3 years on the day so lots more to come. Another with excellent height to length ratio with super static balance. Lovely head shape not overdone with a good eye, bite & ear. Good length of neck and a text book parallel front with tight fitting elbows, super ribbing going well back into a short loin. Excellent well-muscled rear and good angulation. Super coat presented in lovely condition and handled so well to move with confidence on a difficult surface. I hope it will not be too long before she gains her well-deserved crown.
