DOBERMANN

LIMIT (2, 1w/d) 1st Edwards & Molloy’s HOUSEOFMARSH VOGUE SHUTE, 7mths bl/r bitch, very much a baby, ultra feminine with enough bone and well-muscled. Good length to her head, with flat cheeks, correct stop, enough underjaw and almost parallel planes. Dark almond eyes and neat well-set ears combine to give a typical alert expression. Clean neck arches well into a straight but level topline, with a well-filled croup and excellent tailset, although a touch long-cast. Front angulation is slightly straight, but elbows are tight and rear angulation is good with super straight hocks and enough turn of stifle. Moved out well, just needs to tighten a little in front as she matures. BP, and pleased to see her go on to PG4.

OPEN (7, 2) 1st Massey’s JOJAVIK KISSY SUZUKI SHCM, 2yrs bl/r quality bitch, presenting a clean, compact and elegant outline. Pretty and well-proportioned wedge-shaped head, with parallel planes, enough underjaw, and a super expression from dark eyes and correct earset. Good front, with beautiful well-arched neck into slight wither, with correct layback of shoulder and matching upper arm. Legs are well-set under, with good round bone and lovely tight feet. Ample forechest and neat underline are matched by straight topline sloping slightly into excellent croup and tailset. Good depth to brisket, with elbows lying close both standing and on the move. Her correctly angulated and well-muscled rear and strong hocks gave her drive on the move, with good reach through the fore to give lovely profile action. Whilst I would like more of her all through, her overall balance and elegance could not be denied and I was happy to award her BOB and thrilled to see her later take G1 and ultimately RBIS.

2nd Pilgrim’s WOODBRIAR FIX UP LOOK SHARP JW SHCM, smart 2yrs bl/r male, square and well-muscled. Clean masculine head and super expression, with good underjaw and depth of muzzle, level planes and well-set neat ears. Decent front and enough forechest, lovely depth to brisket and well-sprung ribs. Would prefer more return of upper arm and tighter elbows. Good arch of neck into slightly high wither, with super short and strong topline held firm on the move, and neat croup and tailset. Excellent rear angulation with lovely sweep of stifle and short strong hocks. Moved out well with purpose and drive. RBOB, and delighted to hear he later went Best RBOB in Show.
