POLLARD CANINE SOCIETY OPEN SHOW Held on: Sunday 30TH September 2018 - Judge: Mr. Russell F. Jones (Quemerford) Thank you to the committee for the invitation to judge this show. We had a good-sized ring outside. The weather was a bit chilly but dry and the exhibits enjoyed themselves. All exhibits were well groomed and presented. Many thanks to the sporting exhibitors for the entry.

SHETLAND SHEEPDOGS: P (Dog or Bitch) (6,3), 1 Mrs. J.L. & Miss E.J. Fuller, Jacanshe Elsa’s Winter Waltz: A B/M bitch just 6mths of age and what a sweetie she is. Very well balanced, good head and eyes, loved her ear-set, just finishes off that look. Good neck, super angles front and rear, and lovely shape. Loved her coat and movement. I am sure that it will not be long before she is getting BOB’s. Pleased to award her BP and to hear that she went P.Grp.4. Well done.     2 Mrs. S. Tucker, Letuck Daisy Dream: A S/W 7mth old bitch that is of a pleasing type with a pleasing outline. I would like to see a little more neck, still needs to settle on the move. She has good angles to front and rear.     3 Mrs. J.L. & Miss E.J. Fuller, Jacanshe Circle Of Life: B/M litter brother to 1st, and not quite as balanced. Did not move as well as 1st and 2nd today, that said time is on his side, dogs tend to take longer to come into themselves. Just needs time.  

G (Dog or Bitch) (1,0), 1 Mr. M. & Mrs. G. Braddish, Tooralies Nimbus: A B/M dog that stood alone in this class, he is nearly 18mths old and looked quite mature. He is of a pleasing type with a nice outline, and was steady on the move. He excels in coat that has a good texture. Liked his head and good ear set. Could do with a bit more neck, front and rear angles are ok. Pleased to award him BOB. Well done.

OD (1,0), 1 Mrs. S. Tucker, Milesend Marchstorm: A 7yr old Dark S/W dog with a mass of coat that was nicely groomed out. He is of a nice type, with a pleasing top line. Nice head, neck and neat angles. He had the best muscles of the day and moved out soundly around the ring. Although he stood alone in this class I was pleased to award him Res.BOB. Well done.

OB (4,2), 1 Mrs. Holmes, Doonelodge Dansette at Nimcol: A 7yr old Tri coloured lady that is of a pleasant type with a pleasing out line. She moved out well and enjoyed her day out.    2 Mr. M. & Mrs. G. Braddish, Bradmigail Zeta Blue: An 8yr old B/M bitch of a larger type with a pleasing outline. She was shown in fine fettle and was enjoying her day out, also moved well.
