Siberian Husky – Bitches

Thank you to the committee for inviting me to judge at their show.

Both Best Bitch and Reserve Best bitch went Best of Breed and Reserve Best of Breed respectively after being judged by referee judge Irene Feely. Best Puppy Bitch was awarded Best puppy in breed with an agreed decision between myself and the dog judge Gary Fletcher

Puppy Bitch (2)

1st- Brown’s – Polarcreek Taiya, fox-like expression, with correct eye set and ear set, angulation matching front and rear, good height to length ratio, giving good picture of balance. Lovely coat. BPB, BPIB

2nd – John’s – Azgard Kapma For Alepenkye, another nice youngster with a mischievous expression, good moderate angulation, in good coat. Preferred the height to length ration of 1.

Junior Bitch (5, 1ab)

1st – Goodwin’s – Valkyrie Siwash Legend (IMP CZ), lovely head giving a feminine and fox-like expression, very well balanced with good angulation front and back. Moved well both in profile and for and aft.

2nd- Norman’s – Skimarque Shades Of Midnite. Nice head with good eyes and ears, good angulation, good feet. Lovely profile movement.

Post Graduate Bitch (9, 3abs)

1st – Cooper’s – Janskcoo’s Strength N’Honour JW, very nice bitch, nice head, very balanced, good height to length ratio, good angulation front and back, with strong  topline which was held on the move. Well-muscled BB, BOB

2nd – Spruce’s – Mysticwolf Miacoh Another nice bitch that scored highly on her movement, still looking a little immature against some of the others and will be slow maturing. Good angulation, good head however the markings can distract from it.

Open Bitch (11, 2abs)

This was a very strong class with some very nice dogs that went unplaced, I felt very privileged to be given the opportunity to judge them and had to make some tough choices on the day.

1st – McInnes – Hushwing Happy Feet at Inneska JW Another I liked a lot, correct head with fox-like appearance. A very well balanced bitch, again with good angulation front and back, Lovely effortless movement. RBB, RBOB

2nd – Smith’s - Amical Snow White, Lovely head with correct eye and ear placement, top of the standard bitch but balanced, good ground covering movement
