1st  James’ Darkensky Prometheus. 16mth D. Pleasing youngster, good overall proportions with a well-shaped head and brown eyes. Well-made front with good fore chest, ribs deep and well sprung. Level top line & short coupling. Good width of ham & well-muscled. A happy boy, true on the move with good reach and drive. Preferred his overall depth and strength in the challenge to award him BOB

2nd James’ Crumpsbrook Angelica. 4yr B. Pretty feminine B with a good head and lovely dark eye. Good fore-chest, well laid shoulders, chest reaching to brisket & neat feet. Short coupling to a well angled & well-muscled rear. Moved well behind and in profile but a little wide coming towards.

1st Lloyd & Smith’s Crumpsbrook Bayleaf Von Rulander. Nice 4yr boy of good overall shape, pleasing head and dark eye. Well-made front with good lay of shoulder & level top line. Chest reaching elbow. Good turn of stifle and moved well. RBOB

1st Matthews’ Medogold Tartini with Sonham JW. 14mth B. What a lovely youngster Elegent with a super head, well defined stop and dark eye. Well-muscled neck of good length, straight top line with a slight slope. Well laid shoulders, ribs deep & well sprung back to short muscular loin. Well-muscled rear, good turn of stifle, good bone and very neat feet. A joy to watch on the move. Could not be denied BOB 

Graduate (1,0) 

1st Roberts’ Kanix Othello. 22mth D. A strong looking masculine boy. Well-shaped head with defined stop and depth through skull and muzzle. Muscular neck to a well-made front assembly. Good depth to chest and loin, the latter well-muscled and broad. Very nice rear angles. Moved well in rear and profile but a little close in front.

1st Roberts’ Kanix Othello 

2nd Astbury’s Millpoint Simply in Step with Dorbury JW. 2yr D. Squarer in outline than 1 and of different shape overall.  Pleasing through head with nice dark eyes, long neck to well laid shoulders. Brisket just reaching top of elbows. Sloping top line to good tail set. Well angled rear and moved well but another a little close in front today. 

Open (5,0) 

1st Stilgoe & Oliver’s Asterope Lightening Star via Teisgol JW ShCM. This 3yr lady stood out for me for her shape and type. Feminine B with clean lines. Well proportioned head with dark eye, well pronounced stop. Good length of neck flowing into well laid shoulders, correct depth of chest & spring of rib, level top line over a short muscular loin. Well-muscled rear with enough turn of stifle, good bone and feet. Lovely mover from all angles. 

2nd Harrison’s Millpoint Hopes N’Dreams JW. 6yr B, slightly longer cast but so many virtues. Lovely head & eye, super front assembly with well laid shoulders and fore chest that is lacking in so many. Good bone and feet. Lovely depth of chest, level top line to a well-angulated and well-muscled rear.  Another lovely mover

1st Kirkman’s Tsarmont Star Quality. 9mth B. Loved this B for her type, outline and movement. Beautiful head with breadth of skull and lovely dark eyes. Super front assembly, well laid shoulders, fore-chest, depth and spring of rib. Level top line to short loin and correct tail set. Good rear angulation, lovely width of ham and developing muscle. Good bone and neat feet complete the picture. Steady, true driving movement. A very promising youngster. BP 

2nd Clarkson’s Glitters Rainbow over Drumkilty (Imp Bel). 8mth B, slightly bigger build but all in proportion. Another lovely head and dark eye. Super front assembly, well laid shoulders, lovely fore-chest, correct depth and spring of rib, good bone and lovely neat feet. Level top line and good rear with well bent stifles. Another good mover.

Junior (7,2) 

1st O’Gorman’s Berrymeade Grand Central. What a lovely young man, 15mth and full of quality. Masculine throughout, balanced head, broad with good width and depth to muzzle without being overdone. Excels in front assembly, lay of shoulder and return of upper arm, good fore-chest, depth and spring of rib. Strong short coupling to a well-muscled rear with good bend of stifle.  So true and sound on the move, could not be denied his 3 classes which I learnt gave him his JW.  Congratulations. 

2nd Clarkson’s Drumkilty Lisdoonvarna. Another quality exhibit, 14mth B. Feminine with a lovely dark eye, good breadth of skull and another that excels in front assembly. Deep well sprung ribs, level top line and a well-angled rear. Matched the winner on the stand but not quite the drive of 1 on the move but a very close decision.

What a lovely class with quality down the line. 

1st Millington’s Mitcharron Buster Keeton JW ShCM. 5yr D. What a super boy. Excels in so many areas. Lovely head, balanced of correct breadth with dark eyes. Well laid shoulders with good return of upper arm, good fore-chest, lovely depth & spring of rib. Level top line and correct tail set. Short coupling to a well-angled rear, well-muscled. Moves with ease, true, with reach and drive. His presence and maturity won through in the challenge to take BOB. 

2nd Riley’s Wylloh Clarice Cliff JW. 3yr B. Another quality exhibit. Lovely shape and size, super head with dark eyes, excellent front assembly with fore-chest and good depth & spring of rib. Level top line, short strong loin and a well-angled, well-muscled rear. Another true easy mover who could not be ignored. RBOB

1st Romeo-is Hopevalley Morning Rainbow. What a stunning youngster heading up a trio of promising puppies. Just 8mths and excels in type, construction and movement. Super head with a slight stop and dark eye. Good length of neck to well laid shoulders, return of upper arm giving good fore chest. Nice amount of bone and neat feet. Depth and spring of rib back to a short loin. Level top line and correct tail set. Well-developed rear with a correct moderate bend of stifle. So easy and true on the move with reach and drive. A star in the making. 

2nd Haley’s Castle rock Return To Sender at Skybrook. 11mth B. Lovely shape when she concentrates but not as together as the winner. Good head with nice dark eye. Well-made forequarters, level top line, good depth of chest and good rear angles.  Moved well 

3rd Hammersley’s Steelriver Country Garden. 

Graduate (2,1) 

1st Salt’s Gemswin How You Remind Me Of Levelmoor. 3yr B.  What a happy lady. Pleasing head and eye. Well laid should over deep ribs. Level top-line to a well-made and very muscular rear.  Rather out of coat today. Moved true fore and aft with good reach and drive in profile.

1st Romeo-Dieste’s Hopevalley Morning Dakota. 2yr B and giving her handler a hard time. Lovely shape with pleasing head & eye. Good length of neck to a well-made front with laid back shoulders, deep chest, good straight front and neat feet. Level top line to a very well-muscled rear.  Sound and true on the move.

2 super exhibits. 

1st Salt’s Toccata of Harlaston with Wetnoses JW ShCM. 3yr D and my notes start with WOW! Masculine yet refined and so solid all through. Super head of good length with lovely eyes. Well laid shoulder, depth of chest and fore-chest, this boy has it all. Level top line to a well set tail, Short strong loin, well-muscled rear and what a mover. True coming and going with good reach and drive. Could not be denied BOB. 

2nd Romeo-Dieste’s Yonsaff Vienna by Hopevalley JW ShCM. Another super, typey 4yr B. Lovely well-proportioned head with dark eye, super front assembly with straight front and neat feet. Level back to a well angled rear.  Another good mover.  Close for RBOB but lost out to her young kennel mate.
