I would like to thank the committee for inviting me to judge their show and for their fantastic hospitality. I would also like to thank the exhibitors for their entries and allowing me to go over their dogs.

Chihuahua Longcoat

Minor Puppy Dog 2

1st Rooney’s Going For Gold. Fawn boy. Lovely apple dome head, big flaring ears with nice breadth between. Definite stop with a moderate length muzzle. Perfect scissor bite. Good length of neck and well laid shoulders. Level topline and sickle tail. Moved with brisk, forceful action. BPD BPIB 2nd Aylett’s Devonchi Catch Me If You Can. Eye catching black tri. Good dentition. Level topline. Kept dropping tail. Not very attentive to handler.

Puppy Dog 1

 1st Graham’s Donami Jenson Button. 11 month old cream boy. Beautiful domed head with flaring ears. Dark pigment, definite stop and nice muzzle. Good tail set with sickle tail.

Junior Dog 3

1st Culverhouse’s Baby Boom Efektas With Lykath. Fawn & white boy. Apple domed head with well set ears. Definite stop with moderate length muzzle. Big dark eyes. Slightly arched neck. Level topline which he held on the move, well sprung ribs. Sickle tail carried up and over back. 2nd Minton’s Donami Dazzle Me. Lovely cream boy. Nice size. Round apple dome skull, lean cheeks, a definite stop and nice length muzzle. Loved his saucy expression. Dark pigment with large dark eyes. Deep brisket. Good turn of stifle. A little hesitant and kept dropping tail. Placed second because of showmanship.

Yearling Dog 6

1st Culverhouse’s Baby Boom Efektas With Lykath. 2nd Hannay’s Ellochi Sebastian Of Ridgehawk. Red boy with lovely flaring ears with good breadth between. Dark pigment and big round eyes. Lovely dentition. Bit shorter in neck that first. Good drive in hindquarters.

Post Graduate Dog 2

1st Stangoe’s Zoya’s Kingdom Fifth Element At Stanghurst. Small fawn boy. Large flaring ears. Definite stop with a moderately short muzzle. Typical Chihuahua expression. Good length of neck leading into level topline. Nice tail set with sickle tail. Moved well around the ring. 2nd Grey’s Chennelchis Milky Way. Cream boy who is up to to size. Nice big eyes. Bit longer in the muzzle. Mouth ok. A bit longer in body but level topline. Would of liked his legs a bit shorter.

Limit Dog 3

1st Allcock's Sandiman Last Tango In Paris Sleepyhollow JW. A gay and spirited boy with flaring ears set well on apple domed skull. Large round eyes, good dentition, arched neck and deep brisket. Level topline on the stand and on the move. Good turn of stifle. Dainty feet. Good reach in forequarters. Moved with drive. 2nd Lee’s Chirouxe Lazaraz Of Ridgehawk. A nice compact red boy. A little harsh in expression compared to first. Dark pigment and large eyes. Good mouth. Deep brisket. Lovely sickle tail. Moved well.

Open Dog 4

1st Hill’s Lynpix The Mexican With Becanna. A sable boy that I have admired from the side of the ring and he did not disappoint when I put my hands on him. Beautiful apple dome skull with well set flaring ears. Deep stop with nice length of muzzle. Dark eyes and pigment. Good mouth. Lovely reach of neck, deep brisket and good spring of rib. Level topline and good tail carriage. Moved well. BD BOB. 2nd Lee’s Ridgehawk Freds Legacy. Another lovely exhibit. Unlucky to meet first. Apple domed head, bit longer in muzzle. Dark pigment, big round eyes. Arched neck and deep brisket. Topline held level at all times. Correct tailset with sickle tail carried up and over. RBD

Minor Puppy Bitch 1

1st Calvert’s Somergemz Bootycall. A spirted little girl with large flaring ears. Definite stop with lovely length of muzzle. Beautiful scissor bite and a typical Chihuahua expression. Would of liked a bigger eye. Nice length of neck, level topline leading into a lovely tailset with a sickle tail carried up and over. A confident little girl. BPB RBPIB

1st Rooney’s Sweet Melody Scavo At Yorone. Fawn & white girl with a lovely apple domed head. Flaring ears set well apart. Big, dark round eyes. Definite stop with a moderately short muzzle. Arched neck leading to a level topline and sickle tail. Good length to height. Moved forcefully around the ring. 2nd Poyner’s Bronteana Sugar Baby Love. Red sable girl which was smaller than first. Domed head with well set ears. Good dentition and a pleasing expression. Nice length of neck and a level topline. Tailset a little low.

Junior Bitch 4

1st Allcock’s Garnox Shortbread Kiss For Sleepyhollow. A sable girl full of spirit. Domed head with large flaring ears. Nice deep stop with a moderate length muzzle. Typical Chihuahua expression. Level topline leading into a good tail set. Would of preferred a shorter tail. Good turn of stifle and moved well around the ring. BB RBOB. 2nd Culverhouses’s Lykath’s Peep Bo. Another lovely girl. Well placed flaring ears set on a domed head. Nice big round eyes and dark pigment. Level topline held on the move. Needs a little more confidence. Tail was down most of the time.

Yearling Bitch 7(1)

1st Dover’s Justenuf Yin Yang. Beautiful girl of type. Lovely head with definite stop and nice length of muzzle. Arched neck leading into level topline which was held at all times. Correct tailset with sickle tail carried up and over. Not much coat but had nothing to hide. Lovely outline. Moved with drive. RBB. 2nd Barber’s Lykath’s Marry Poppins At Ramrowan. Fawn & white. Smaller than first. Large ears, dark pignment and round eyes. Topline good. Had a glamorous coat. Needs more confidence as dropped tail a lot.

Post Graduate Bitch 5(1)

1st Calvert’s Somergemz Tease Me. Lovely girl full of type. Domed head with well set flaring ears. Big round eyes and dark pigment. Good reach of neck and level topline. Lovely brisk movement. Tail was up and down. A girl I have always admired and have had the pleasure of going over before. Still needs work with her confidence but there is a big improvement from last time. 2nd Barber’s Hollyel Wish on A Sapphire At Ramrowan. A lovely flashy girl. Nice head with a longer muzzle than first. Definite stop and a good mouth. Lovely tailset with tail carried up and over. Preferred the head of first.

1st Barber’s Hollyel Kunzite At Ramrowan. A small fawn & white girl with a lovely coat. Typical Chihuahua expression. Good stop with a nice length of muzzle. Excellent reach of neck. Topline ok. Moved well. 2nd Edward’s Ahau Casa Grande Moon Magic (Imp Ukr).Large flaring ears set well on a domed head. Mouth good. Level topline. Good turn of stifle.
