English Setters

Puppy (4,0)

1 - Poynter & Lewis’ Quensha Cowboys and Angels. Maturing well, this 11 month old orange belton dog presents a balanced outline with good angles and return of upper arm. Masculine head with a dark eye. Well off for bone, and in good coat. Moved out with drive and forward reach. BPIB

2 - Bailey’s Ravensett Seville at Gwithian. At 7 months this orange belton boy was giving away a lot to the winner. Balanced in outline but not the angles of 1 which showed in his movement. Attractive in head with a dark eye, level topline held on the move.

3 - Neath’s Albadora One Dream

4 - Hilditch’s Bournehouse Secret Mystery

Junior (4,0)

1 - Henry’s Beechanger Velvet Crab. Blue belton and tan bitch of 17 months with lovely lean head and dark almond shaped eyes. Reachy neck into well laid shoulders with a level topline, held on the move followed by a lashing tail. She was the best mover in this class driven by a sweeping stifle and short rear pasterns. I believe this win gave her the final point for her Junior Warrant. Congratulations ! RBOB

2 - Wale’s Wansleydale Magic Rose. Very close up to 1. 14 month old orange belton bitch of substance and in good coat. Overall of more substance than 1, pleasing head, balanced in outline, slightly longer cast and carrying a tad too much weight.

3 - Poynter & Lewis’ Quensha Cowboys and Angels

4 - Bryant & Hollis’ Phenset Sparks Will Fly

Post Graduate (3,0)

1 - Wale’s Wansleydale Magic Rose. 2nd in Junior.

2 - Bryant & Hollis’ Phenset Sparks Will Fly. Dark blue belton bitch with a dark face and beautiful dark eyes in a lean head. Long neck into good shoulders. I would prefer more forechest and upper arm to balance her out. I think the sandy ring surface affected her movement today.

3 - Neath’s Albadora Dusty Pebble

Open (4,1)

1 - Loakes’ Goldbirch Wings of Desire JW. Lovely blue belton and tan bitch with lean head and correct eye giving a soft expression. Balanced with level topline flowing into her lashing tail. Moved so well she just floated round the ring. Presented in lovely coat and condition. BOB. I see she also won the Gundog Group and Reserve Best in Show. Well done.

2 - King’s Dobbies Delight at Grantastar. Dark eyed blue belton boy with masculine head and pleasing expression. Balanced throughout with lovely bone, good return of upper arm and level topline held on the move.

3 - Tapp’s Epsom Prince
