I should like to extend my sincere thanks to the Officers and Committee for inviting me to judge at this show.  It was a very enjoyable day, the hospitality second to none and the sportsmanship of exhibitors so very welcome and refreshing to see. I very much appreciated the opportunity of this appointment to assess some lovely dogs.

Of pleasing type, finely chiselled head, complete, clean and correct dentition, bitch out of coat. Oblique shoulders, deep chest leading to good hindquarters, moderate rear angulation, moved well once settled, nails far too long, which spoilt foot shape.

Very good and smooth movement even though restricted indoors today.

2nd: Busby, Mrs R H & Miss O F, Stanegate Leading Role At Zakby (Irish Water Spaniel) I thought this was a really lovely puppy, that even at just 6 months of age oozes quality. Beautifully balanced with the correct compact square outline. His head is so true to type, large with a high dome, good length of muzzle and well chiselled beneath the eyes. Correct, clean and complete dentition. Strong, well arched neck leading to very good shoulder placement and corresponding return of upper arm.
