This youngster has a lovely straight back, excellent angulation, really stepped out on tight feet and single tracked on the move. 2 Toomer’s Cwnhapus Tiger’s Eye For Shaali, D, eight-month-old Siberian Husky. In exceptionally good coat considering the time of year and the temperature. Overall a very pleasing exhibit but needs to mature more. Puppy (8, 6) 1 Crossley’s Rothenborg Pasha At Crossridge, B, 10-month-old Norwegian Elkhound. A lovely bitch, shown in first class condition; slightly out of coat but well prepared, firm top-line.moved true when she settled. 2 Toomer’s Cwnhapus Tiger’s Eye For Shaali, D, Siberian Husky. Open (10, 10) Good Citizen Dog Scheme (15, 8) 1 Jones’ Ceranda Surf’s Up, D, Pembroke Corgi. A well developed, sturdy specimen in good coat, good top-line, correct angulation, moved true. Outstanding in his class. 2 Jenkins’ CwmbeiliMorgan, D, Welsh SS. 3 Bidey’s Raimex Rio, B, Beagle. 4 Richards’ Galemira Star Struck Lazaro, D Whippet. 5 Walton’s Markenfield Siriius Black At Walstar, D, Rough Collie. AVNSC Working Open (4, 1) 1 George’s Dasval Valeria Messalina, B, Gt Schnauzer. A pleasing head-piece with correct ear carriage, eyes and skull shape; kept her topline on the move. 2 Popp’s Cyberus Apollo Of Penychen, D, 14-month-old Mastiff. Fine upstanding specimen with a good big head, tight feet but needs to settle better in the ring. 3 Mgill’s Winterkloud Aurora, B, Port Water Dog. AV Working Puppy (1, 0) 1 Toomer’s Cwnhapus Tiger’s Eye For Shaali, D, Siberian Husky. Imported Breed Register (1, 1) Working Group The adult group was a delight to judge and made choosing the best very difficult; in the end I went for the Newfoundland who made the most of her chance. 1 Webb’s New Angels Pretty In Pink (Imp Bel), B, Newfoundland. 2 Oliver’s Shimanl Ivory Lady, B, S Husky. 3 George’s Dasval Valeria Messalina, B, Gt Schnauzer. 4 Tyler’s Jojavik Bulletproof Bomb JW, D, Dobermann. Working Group The puppies presented for the group also made choosing difficult, the boxer had a particularly pretty face but I settled for another Newfoundland who took my eye as she walked into the ring. 1 Hobbs’ Alphabear Despacito, B, Newfoundland. 2 Jackson’s Princess Amethyst, B, Dobermann. 3 Hodder’s, Kernow Troufashion At Fulvia, B, BMD. 4 Powell & Breakspear’s, Karlita VomHause Reberg (Imp Ger), B, Boxer. AV Memorial Stakes Mary Hutton Memorial Special Puppy Stakes (12, 4) 1 Evans’ Farnfield Clarity TAF, B, Labrador. A charming little yellow girl who showed so well for her first show. She had a good head, sufficient angulation and strong toline. 2 Stephens’ Brightmeadow Rags To Riches, B, GSD 3 Plummer & Bingham’s, Silharhi Holy Smoke, D, Tibetan Terrier. 4 Burgess’, Greyspirit Rockstar From Hantzburg, D Weimaraner. 5 Serpa & Peters’ Winterwell Seabreeze At Pontopresa, B, German Shorthaired Pointer Val Bickerton Memorial Special Open Stakes (11, 8) 1 Burgess Gunalt Rock Out With HantzburgShCM RL1 P-Beg Ex, D, Weimaraner. A good solid exhibit with good angulation, strong topline, correct tail set. Moved out and single tracked. 2 Matthews’ Medogold Tartini With Sonham, B, Pointer. 3 Serpa & Griffiths’ Sh Ch Barleyarch Trumpeter, D, GSP. The seven group winners presented for BIS were quality specimens of their particular breeds. After examining each one and assessing their movement it came down to a choice between the Cesky and the ESS with the later just winning out. BIS Lewis & Bullock’s Trixhund Talking Obsession JW ShCM, D, English Springer Spaniel. Reserve BIS Richardson & Richardson & Wilson’s Ch & Can Ch Alchemy Chalma Figaro Talyot, D, Cesky Terrier. BPIS Turnbull’s Turnstone Red Hot Diva, B, Whippet. A little charmer with outstanding construction and lots of personality. Reserve BPIS Stephens’ Brightmeadow Who Dares Wins, D GSD. BVetIS Anthony’s Sweetwells Share The Spirit At Ospreagle, D Beagle. A solidly built exhibit who still moves well and was outstanding in the final line up.
