Toydog Society of Wales – Open Show – Sunday 2nd December 2018

I would like to thank the committee of Toydog Society of Wales for inviting me to judge at their show, my stewards Beverley & Claire who organised the ring efficiently for me and the exhibitors for their attendance. I had lovely quality dogs to go over and was spoiled for choice.

Breed – CKCS 

P: (5,1) 1. Long’s Arroline Eclipse. Stunning 8 month old Tri puppy bitch presented in immaculate condition. Large round dark eyes, correct dentition, skull almost flat between well set ears, and face well filled beneath the eyes, giving the desired melting expression. Well angulated and moved with good reach and drive holding a level topline at all times. BP

2. Lewis’ Carleeto Joe Cocker. 7 month old black & tan puppy dog. Well presented with silky raven black coat and correct tan markings. Correct dentition, well set ears, sweet expression. Well balanced overall with good angulation and tailset. Moved well.

J: (4,1) 1. Watts’ Culverwood Belle Starr from Jamesbonny. 17 month old Blenheim bitch. Plenty of silky coat with rich chestnut markings on a pearly white background, well broken. Round dark eyes, good pigmentation and good earset, correct dentition. Happy and confident girl. Good angulation and moved with ease around the ring.

2. Williams’ Anickily Anna Rose Sancana 16 month old black & tan bitch. Beautifully presented with plenty of silky raven black coat with correct tan markings. Lovely happy temperament and nice size. Very attentive to handler. Sweet head with dark eyes, correct dentition, well set ears. Correct angulation and moved well holding her topline on the move at all times.

PG: (5,1) 1. Conneally’s Coedgwylum Hot Sapphire. 2 year old Blenheim bitch. Well presented with plenty of coat and well broken markings. Lovely head with round dark eyes, good pigmentation, correct dentition, well feathered leathers and a soft melting expression. Nice shape, good angulation and tailset. Moved with good reach and drive.

2. Lewis’ Carleeto Star Dust. 13 month old black and tan dog. Well presented with silky raven black coat with bright tan markings. Lovely head with expressive round dark eyes, correct dentition, enough cushioning under the eyes to create a melting expression. Good angulation and well balanced. Moved well. Very attentive to handler.

OD: (3,1) 1. Watts’ Jamesbonny Josey Wales. 2 year old Blenheim dog with Blenheim spot. Presented in excellent condition. Plenty of silky coat, well broken with rich chestnut markings on a pearly white background. Stunning masculine head with soft, melting expression. Round dark eyes, good pigmentation, correct dentition, correct earset and skull almost flat between ears. Good angulation throughout, good turn of stifle. Moved with good reach and drive around the ring, maintaining his level topline at all times. Well balanced and lovely temperament. BOB and good to hear that he made the final cut for BIS.

2. Loader’s Jolainey Jedi Master for Kettrice. 11 month old tricolour dog. Happy temperament, well presented. Well feathered leathers, correct dentition. Good angulation, moved well around the ring and attentive to handler.

OB: (5,2) 1. Conneally’s Coedgwylum Hot Cristal. Attractive 2 year old Blenheim bitch. Presented in immaculate condition with plenty of soft silky coat with rich chestnut markings on a well broken pearly white background. Lovely head with the desired melting expression. Correct earset with well feathered leathers. Round dark eyes, good pigmentation, correct dentition. Good angulation throughout and maintained her level topline at all times. Moved with ease around the ring.

2. Williams & Boardman’s Jonsville Crystella Sancana JW ShCM. Well presented 4 year old Blenheim bitch. Happy temperament. Round dark eyes, well set ears, good pigmentation, correct dentition and sweet expression. Correct angulation and good turn of stifle. Moved well around the ring and held her topline at all times.
