Thank you to the committee for the invite to judge and for the exhibitors for entrusting their dogs to my judging, It was unfortunate to clash with some breeds club shows but I had some lovely dogs to go over. The whole show was friendly well run and had a great atmosphere all day. I have put photos of all my BOB & BPIB winners on the Stoke On Trent and District Gundog Clubs Facebook site.

1st – Patouche Jais, Owned by Mr K Taylor, 4yo Bitch – What a lovely tri Bitch she has everything where it should be and was a delight to go over, she is naturally tailless her angulation is correct, Her coat tight, dense and fine. Her ears well shaped triangular and high set as they should be her eyes dark to match her dark coat. Good depth of brisket reaching to elbow.  Very pleased to award her BOB and am sure she would have held this place even in good company.

1st Ternspringer Band Man at Reulmill owned by Mr G Clarke 2 ½ yo Dog – Liver &White boy with a good head and almond shaped dark eye, correct ear set. Well laid shoulders and good rear angulation, well muscled with driving movement keeping his top line on the move. Well sprung ribs, deep chest. BOB

1st Bardings Bypolar Bear owned by Mrs S & Mr C Hastings, 6 months old – what a sweetie I could have taken this boy home, his head is totally correct even given his young age his brows and head shape are already there and his ears set low and are thick and lobular in shape his nose correct in shape and colour. His bone is good for his age and he already holds his topline on the move. Not wanting to stand today rather he wanted his belly rubbed. He is a little loose in movement but with a pup this age I would expect that as he has a lot of growing to do and it is better this is done slowly rather than put undue stress on little bones and muscles. His rear action is already strait and true. BPIB.

1st Eald Village Scandal JW owned by Ms VA Davey 15 month old bitch – Lovely young bitch good colour and shape. Head shape good, eyes and ears correct, lovely soft expression. Round well padded feet, not showing her best today.

1st Yorkham Yule Love It at Bardings Owned by Mrs S & Mr C Hastings 3yo Bitch – Good head and Bone, correct fluting on skull. Good angulation fore and aft and her movement was perfect. Round well padded feet with good feathering between toes. BOB.

2nd Eald Village Gossip owned by Ms VA Davey  2 ½ yo Bitch – Nice girl who had a good head, feet and bone – outmoved by 1st today but a lot to like about her, both good front angulation and elbows. RBOB

1st Micklemess Magic Flute Owned by Mrs D Walton 2 ½ yo  Bitch - young girl with good eye and ears, nicely short coupled with ribs carried well back and a good length giving her a correct balance and shape, good feet and enough bone, moved well and had a very happy disposition. BOB

1st Valentisimo's Fauna Para Bumbleridge JW Owned by Mrs Nicholls-Ward 2 yo bitch – young bitch with more to come, Good head and ears set with correct pigmentation, strong neck onto good shoulders, front strait and true with hind angulation OK. Correct tail and set. BOB
