CLUMBER SPANIEL 

PUPPY (2) 

1st Walkling’s MAURSETT MYCATE AT KISWAHILI 

This promising youngster really caught my eye today. Very pleasing in head, well defined occiput and good square finish to muzzle. Strong neck leading to well sloped shoulders. She is balanced throughout, well off for bone  and moved out effortlessly on this hot day. Although she stood alone in the breed a very worthy BOB. Please to see her take Group 4 and Puppy Group 1 under the group judge. 

 

COCKER SPANIEL 

PUPPY (4) 

1st Yilmaz’s KYNA MINNIE CALDWELL FOR ANLASANA 

Pleasing head proportions with good stop and dark eye. Ribs well sprung for age and short over loin and well balanced throughout in profile. Very raw baby but showing lots of promise. Moved out confidently with good driving action. BP  

2nd Leng’s CASSOM SAILOR BLUE 

Another pleasing youngster. Attractive head with good square muzzle. Good neck and shoulders, well sprung ribs and well made throughout. Not as settled on the move as my winner and carrying too much weight today. 

 

POST- GRAD (3) 

1st Smith & Ozanne’s  LYTONWOLD LA VOCE CELESTE 

Attractive in head, with correct proportions, well defined stop and well set on ears. Muscular neck, good forechest, well sprung ribs and balanced throughout. Moved confidently and shown in good coat and condition. Res BOB 

2nd  Palmer’s DREAMIST ROCK ’N’ RYE AT COLMEIR 

Head of good proportions, dark eye, pleasing in outline andwell off for bone, well padded feet. Not as together as the bitch on the move. 

 

OPEN (3) 

1st Terry’s  SHAGGYLANDS LETS GET IT ON  

A very nicely made dog scores in clean outline when stacked. Liked his head proportions with square muzzle and adequate stop. Well sloped shoulders and straight front, ribs well sprung, well bent stifles and hocks well let down. Presented in good coat and condition and moved soundly to take BOB.

JUNIOR (2) 

1st Clarke’s TIGERROCK STRIKE A POSE 

I had two quality littermates in this class. My first was pleasing in head with ears of good length. Well laid shoulders, ribs well sprung, moderate rear angulation. Free moving off strong hocks. Shown in lovely coat and condition. Splitting hairs but the bitch coped better in the heat with her free movement to take Res BOB 

  

2nd Clarke’s TIGERROCK TIMMY TIM TIMS 

A strongly made young dog presenting a pleasing and symmetrical outline. Balanced in head proportions with good depth to flew. Strong over neck with good arch, elbows in tight. Ribs well sprung, preferred the rear angulation of his littermate, he has lots of time to develop. 

 

POST-GRAD (3) 

1st Clarke’s TIGERROCK LETS ROCK N ROLL 

Another pleasing youngster with lovely head and expression with dark eye and long lobular ears. Good depth to chest. Strong over loin and adequate rear angulation. Presented in lovely coat and condition as are all from this kennel. Just not as positive on the move today as my BOB 

2nd Long & Leeming’s TRYHARD TOURDE YORKSHIRE 

Pleasing masculine head, has good bone, good angulation fore and aft. Somewhat unsettled in the heat today. 

 

OPEN (2) 

1st  Willey’s MEVERLEY WHAT STYLE 

A mature exhibit that won on overall breed type and construction. Best of heads with good proportions ,good ear length and kind expression. Excellent front assembly with tight feet. Deep in chest and strongly made throughout. Good tight feet and a true and sound mover with good drive from rear and holding topline well. BOB 

2nd Clarke’s TIGEROCK RADIO GA GA JW 

Another pleasing dog, attractive masculine head, ears long and lobular. Good straight front assembly and well made throughout. Preferred the overall outline of my winner. 

 

WELSH SPRINGER SPANIEL    

JUNIOR (2) 

1st Morgan & Schofield’s CWSSCWN WHO KNEW (AI).  

A very promising youngster. Very pleasing in head with well defined stop and correct ear set. Good straight front, deep in brisket, ribs well sprung, correct rear angulation and adequate bone. Good tail carriage on the move and strides out well. Still very raw but should develop well Res BOB 

2nd Smith & Ozanne’s ISLANZA SPRING INTO ACTION AT LYNTONWOLD 

Feminine in head, good lay of shoulder and strong over loin. Moved soundly, needs time to mature and develop coat. 

 

POST- GRAD (2) 

1st Clarke’s  TIGERROCK PERFECT TEN 

A pleasing bitch. Correct head proportions with pleasing eye colour. Presents a balanced and smart outline when stacked. Moved well, just needs coat to finish the picture. 

2nd  Leach’s ISLANZA SPRINTER 

Well balanced in outline, liked his head, good body proportions and well developed hindquarters. Not as settled as my class winner. 

 

OPEN (1) 

1st Clarke’s FERNEDEL HIGH FIDELITY WITH TIGGEROCK ShCM 

This was my find of the day. A 3 year old dog just reaching his best. Excellent head, plenty of stop and lovely expression. Strong muscular neck, very well developed in body with correct proportions. Strong rear quarters with well developed second thigh and strong hocks which allowed him to move soundly.  Shown in excellent coat and condition and at one with his handler. BOB 

 

FLAT COAT RETRIEVER 

POST-GRAD (3) 

1st Walker & Roberts JADE VOM WILDFORSTERSEE AT GLOI JW 

A well balanced bitch that presented a pleasing outline. Good long head proportions with intelligent expression. Good straight front assembly and well ribbed. Strong and muscular hindquarters and adequate rear angulation. Hocks well let down and moved freely, presented in good coat. Res BOB 

  

2nd Davison & Stott’s BITCON GIRL IN BLACK 

Lovely head with flat skull and dark eye. Good depth to chest, and correct spring of rib. She has good angulation both fore and aft. Just needs to settle on the move and bond with her handler and will do well. 

3rd Hedderwick’s TORWOOD PAW TRAIT 

 

OPEN (2) 

1st Walker & Roberts MISTLEDAWN SPRING BREEZE BY GLOI JW 

Well moulded head with correctly shaped skull and correct eye shape and neat ears. Straight front and good return of upperarm and adequate spring of rib, strong hindquarters with moderate angulation, stood on strong hocks and correct tailset.  Moved freely and soundly to take BOB 

2nd TORWOOD PAW TRAIT 

Masculine and workmanlike liver dog that I found rather strong in head. Good front assembly and well developed forechest. Well ribbed and well off for bone throughout. Had true free movement.
