Retford Canine Society

Thank you to the committee for inviting me to judge at this friendly show. My hat goes off to all concerned for maintaining a well- run show despite the adverse weather conditions and for the committee’s hospitality – lunch was really delicious! I also thank my steward for keeping the ring flowing and for her assistance. I thoroughly enjoyed my day of judging Labradors and my first appointment of judging golden retrievers. It was a shame there were so many absentees in both my breeds but this was very understandable given the weather. Thank you to all who entered and braved the weather to allow me to go over their lovely dogs in both breeds. I was delighted to watch my Golden Retriever BP and BOB having further success in their groups with the BP taking PG1 and the BOB being shortlisted to the last 7 but the highlight of my day was learning that the PG1 then went on to take RBPIS.
