Many thanks to the officers and committee for their kind invitation to judge GSDs and Rottweilers at your lovely show. I thoroughly enjoyed my day and the opportunity to judge those dogs brought before me. Thankfully I was able to judge the Rottweilers outside. Thank you to all exhibitors.

GERMAN SHEPHERD DOG

Open (1) O'Neill Haus Mailand Talia, 8 year old bitch of medium size. Pleasing head with lovely expression. Greying muzzle the only sign she is an older lady. Good breed type with correct tail carriage. Unable to assess movement as the floor and size of ring meant that she was unable to move freely BOB.

ROTTWEILER

Junior (3) 1. Holden Juffther Forever Dreaming in Rottknight, Male 12 months of age with loads of promise. Lovely head with almond shaped eye giving calm expression. He is a balanced boy with pleasing angles both front and rear. Still loose as to expect at this age and this showed when he moved. Will watch his future with interest. 2. Crawford Jianerot Igor. Another 12 mth old male of larger proportions than 1. Pleasing head, correct bite and in good overall body condition. Good angulation with lovely tight feet. Erratic on the move and I am sure that with more ring experience both handler and exhibit will improve. 3.Robinson & Burrow Rottamore Bloodstream

Post Graduate (1) Crawford Jianrot Igor

Open (2) 1. Turnbull & Wainwright Westlodge Jamie Oliver Impressive male of 2 and half years with such ring presence. Correct head...not overdone lovely rich mahogany markings, slightly round eye of the darkest brown. Very balanced with correct body proportions.Good tail set and carriage. Moved with drive and handled well. BOB G2. 2. Holden Rottknight White Christmas. Veteran boy of 8 years only beginning to show his age when you examine his mouth. He is a natural showman, Medium sized with lots to like. Good breed type. Moved and handled well.
