1st McLellan’s Sarandon Tanana – 11 ½ months old yellow dog in good coat, who stood four square. Masculine head and expression with excellent pigmentation, correct flow of neck into well laid back shoulders, deep chested, well off for bone, well bent stifle, correct tail set and carriage. Moved soundly but gave his handler a hard time BP

Junior (3,1a)

1st McLellan’s Loumar Kiawah for Sarandon – 17 months old yellow bitch who I preferred for breed type and had the better coat today. Feminine head and expression, straight front with good bone, deep chested, well sprung barrel ribs, correct topline and otter tail. Moved soundly.

2nd Edwards’ Kimbajak Precious Metal – 17 months old yellow dog who was not in his best coat today. Masculine head and expression with correct pigmentation, deep chested, well bent stifle. Moved well once settled.

Post Graduate (3,0a)

1st Bambrook’s Marshwiggle Shakespeare at Ravoakar JW – A dog I have judged before. Yellow dog with masculine head and expression, straight front leading to compact feet, well off for bone, correct spring of ribs, short coupled, correct bend of stifle, good topline which he held on the move, would prefer a better tail carriage. Today he moved with drive and purpose.

2nd Rowley’s Treantagh Dolly Rainbow – Smaller yellow bitch but balanced throughout. Feminine head and expression, correct length and flow of neck into well laid back shoulders, level topline, well sprung ribs, moved with purpose and drive. Just would prefer a touch more length in leg.

3rd Raynor’s Rossclyde Highland Jet

1st McLellan’s Sarandon Rock Your Baby – Yellow dog who presented a overall pleasing picture. Masculine head and expression, correct front with correct length of neck into well laid back shoulders, deep chested, well sprung barrel ribs, in good coat with correct otter tail which he carried well on the move. Moved well in all directions. BOB

2nd Edwards’ Kimbajak Duchess Eleanor – Yellow bitch in good coat with a feminine head and expression, good reach of neck into well laid back shoulders, correct forechest, well sprung barrel ribs, correct topline and tailset. Gave her handler a hard time but moved soundly and with purpose. RBOB

3rd Bysouth’s Halloran Phoenix Over Luckswarren

1st Dewar’s Macarica Harry’s Rock – A dog that I have judged before as a puppy and I still like him as he is maturing. Orange roan 14 month old dog with plenty of substance who presented a pleasing picture. Masculine head and expression, good neck, straight front, correct topline and underline, correct coarse dense coat. Needs to tighten in front and today he was giving his handler a hard time but once settled moved soundly. BOB

2nd Barrett’s Affilato Happy Ever After at Barhold – 13 month old bitch who needs time to mature and fill her frame. Feminine head and expression, well off for bone, correct front and rear quarters. Needs to strengthen in rear but moved soundly. RBOB

1st Nickleson’s Blitzan Eternal Light – 8 ½ years old bitch with feminine head and expression, deep chested, correct length of neck, short loin, excellent topline which she held on the move, moved well but does have the tendency to move wide in front. BOB

2nd Waters’ Tarkanya Latasha Llewelyn – 13 ½ years old dog in good coat, with a masculine head and expression. Deep chested, short loin, correct length of neck into well laid back shoulders. Correct bend of stifle. Moved well considering his age. RBOB

1st Poyntor and Lewis’ Quensha Cowboys and Angels – English Setter - 12 months old today medium dog, who is balanced and presented a pleasing outline. Masculine head and expression, long well arched length of neck into well laid back shoulders, well rounded bone, short in back, well bent stifle, Moved well with reach and drive.

1st Greenwood’s Sharnphilly Fire Opal – Weimaraner – Balanced bitch who won this class on her movement. Feminine head and expression, well developed chest, well sprung ribs, correct tight feet, firm loin, correct bend of stifle, held her topline on the move. Moved with drive and purpose.

2nd Beecham’s Grafskoe Gnezdo Argo (Imp) - Bracco Italiano – Masculine head and expression, well ribbed up, moderate bend of stifle. Gave handler a hard time on the move and needs to tighten up in rear.

3rd Oliver’s Deifstock Deep Desire - Weimaraner

1st Goode’s Owlspoint King of Trouble at Brackenvale JW ShCM - Bracco Italiano – Wow what can I say. This dog presented a pleasing picture and did not disappoint on going over him. Masculine head and expression, straight front with correct oval bone leading to excellent feet, correct length of neck into well laid back shoulders, deep chested, short and well muscled loin, correct bend of stifle, well muscled rear end. Moved with drive and purpose to win this class, also BAVNSC Gundog and Gundog Group 1

1st Wheeldon’s Thornywait Viva La Vida for Catnnels - Golden Retriever – 7 ½ months old balanced bitch just coming into coat. Feminine head and expression, straight front leading to cat like feet, correct length of neck leading into well laid back shoulders, short coupled, correct bend of stifle. Level topline which she held on the move.

2nd Chapman’s Katimba Trebbiano at Dkai - Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever – 11 month old medium sized dog. Masculine head and expression, medium neck into well laid back shoulders, deep chested, strong in loin, stifles well bent. Moved soundly and with purpose in all directions.

1st Hillary’s Edasiy Dream Maker - Cocker Spaniel – Black balanced bitch in good coat who presented a pleasing picture. Feminine head and expression, correct length of neck which flowed into well laid back shoulders, short loin, well ribbed up, good bend of stifle, correct topline which she held on the move. Moved well with reach and drive.

2nd Wells’ Pearlbarn Pot of Gold – Golden Retriever – Dog with masculine head and expression, short coupled, deep chested, correct bend of stifle, just for me carrying too much weight and his tail carriage spoilt his outline on the move. Moved soundly with drive.

3rd Reynolds’ Hoedun Malbec - Flat Coated Retriever

1st Hillary’s Sheigra Mr Snuggles at Edasiy - Cocker Spaniel – Black compact dog in good coat who presented a pleasing picture. Masculine head and expression, correct length of neck, matching front and rear quarters, short in loin, well sprung ribs, correct topline which he held on the move. Moved well with reach and drive.

2nd Murray’s Araminta Glass at Gayplume – Flat Coated Retriever – A dog I have judged before as a youngster and I gave her RBOB then and I still like her. Bitch that presented a pleasing outline. Feminine head and expression, correct length of neck that flowed into well laid back shoulders, strong loin, correct rear angulation, Moved well in all directions with reach and purpose.

2nd Strevens’ Sh Ch Erikachen Conakry at Tollisty JW ShCM - Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever – Balanced dog with a masculine head and expression. Correct body proportions and correct front and rear angles. Was a joy to watch his movement as so sound in all directions.

3rd Mahon and Newton’s Curlabull New York Jet ShCM - Curly Coated Retriever – Once again a dog with a masculine head and expression, with a correct tight coat and correct body proportions. Moved well again.

4th McCourt’s Ir Sh Ch Woodspa Royal Ascot ShCM - English Springer Spaniel – Bitch who presented a pleasing outline. Feminine head and expression, correct front and rear angles, moved with drive and purpose.

1st Romeo-Dieste’s Hopevalley Morning Rainbow - Flat Coated Retriever – A bitch who I have done well before and my opinion of her has not altered one bit. She is so well made and one who I am sure will have a bright future

2nd Jackson’s Tierra De Siena Lorenzo at Swanavon (Imp ESP) - Golden Retriever – Dark dog who presented a pleasing outline. Good body proportions and moved so well from all directions.

1st Kitchen’s Swingletrees Roses Are Red at Tarkdash - Miniature Smooth Dachshund – 15 months old bitch who presented a pleasing picture and was well handled. Feminine head and expression with excellent pigmentation, strong breastbone, short in loin, correct rear angles which she used on the move. Moved soundly.
