Puppy (5,2) 

I liked all 3 of these puppies, however preferred the substance and type of the first two.  

1st HAMMOND, MISS S & MR R – SEASHAM LOVE BUG  

Pretty bitch with well- balanced head, correct length of neck into well laid shoulders, front assembly is correct however needs to tighten up. Well sprung ribs with plenty of depth, well boned and my preferred size, currently stronger in her rear, which was shown on the move, where she moved with plenty of drive, just a little loose in her front movement at this time. BP and pleased to see her shortlisted in the puppy group.    

2ND COE, MRS N – GOOSEPOINT WADDINGTON AT ABBANASH (AI) 

6 Month old male, that has it all there, just needs to get his head in the game.  A typical male head, masculine and with a correct eye. Well boned and muscled for his age, with plenty of lung space, good front and rear angulation which he put to use on the move, once he got his act together, he drove around the ring with ease and enthusiasm. One for the future and one I will watch with interest.  

3RD ROSE & GAFFNEY, MR A P & MR JD – PINGARYPOINT THEWAY TO KAVACANNE 

Junior (5,1) 

1ST BRAINE, MISS J GRENETREST CANTERBURY BELL JW  

A dog with presence, owns the ring from the moment he walks in. Full of substance and character, well balanced throughout, masculine head of correct proportions, nice neck leading into well laid shoulders, good spring and depth of chest with correct body length, good amount of forechest, with good bone and feet in front and rear, would like a little more bend in stifle if I was being picky, but he uses what he has to his advantage as he drives off correctly on the move covering the ground with ease.  

2ND HAMMOND, MISS S & MR R – SEASHAM LOVE BUG 

Same as Puppy class  

3RD BROWN, MR G & MRS G – GRAYGEES GIGOLO  

4TH ROSE & GAFFNEY, MR A P & MR JD – PINGARYPOINT THEWAY TO KAVACANNE 

Graduate (2,0) 

1st HAMMOND, MISS S & MR R – SEASHAM LOVE BUG 

 Same as Puppy  

2nd BROWN, MR G & MRS G – GRAYGEES GIGOLO 

A dog I have judged as a puppy, a little over muscled today for my preference, with being over muscled he has lost his fluidity on the move.  

Open (2,1)  

1st PEEBLES, MR & MRS – KEIGAME BELLE OF ALL  

A bitch with clean outline from nose to tail with correct bone and muscle coverage, a bitch that from just looking at can tell she will work a full day in the field. A pretty bitch with nice expression, slightly longer in muzzle than I prefer, good depth, spring of rib and strong in loin. This bitch although on her own, out moved all today she covered the ground with such grace, driving from the rear and reaching from the front very pleased to award her BOB today.
