Parson Russell Terrier Club Summer Show 22 July 2018

Judge Mr George Blair Special Awards Classes

Thank you to the Officers and Committee of the club for inviting me to judge these classes and to the members who voted for me! I enjoyed this very much. I would also like to thank all the exhibitors for their support in these classes on this hot day! Thanks also to my steward.

Class A Special Awards Junior Dog or Bitch. (7)

1. Bigland’s Heythrop Task Master nice size dog, strong wedge shaped head with a good expression, easily spanned, good narrow front, and good top line, moved well with drive. In my opinion one to watch!

2. Hooley`s Hoolmark Johnny Guitar another nice size dog with a good top line, easily spanned, moved well but on the day lost out to 1 who I felt moved better.

3. Foster & Fuller`s Hoolmark Paleface good size, good coat, easily spanned moved well but without the drive of 1 and 2

Class B Special Awards Post Graduate Dog or Bitch (5)

1. Bigland’s Heythrop Taggert a workman like nice size dog, strong wedge shaped head, good top line, lovely coat, easily spanned moved well with good drive.

2. Smith and Moon's Alncroft I`m Bizzy good size feminine bitch, good top line and coat, easily spanned moved well but not quite with the drive on no 1 on the day

3. Chalkey`s Ardencoat Tullah another feminine bitch, with a smaller head, easily spanned, moved well

Class C Special Wards Open Dog or Bitch (6)

1. Hughes`s Beauforts Charles James a lovely size male, strong shaped head with expression, easily spanned, good coat and bone, moved well with good drive

2. Shelton`s Boultmoor True Delight a 6 year old bitch with good expression , eye and ear set, spannable, moved well

3. Biglands' Ardencote Tutor with Heythrop, good head, tail and tail set. good in bone. Just did not move well today, but on another day 2 and 3 could easily have been placed the other way around
